    Why keep listening?
Why would I keep listening when Travis seems to be the only person who likes or even plays the game? Stop whining about stasis in pvp. The other subclasses are still viable. If you don’t like the game anymore, play something else. And please, don’t host a show about the game

    I did enjoy
I really enjoyed listening to this podcast. But after these past 2 episodes been nothing but complete crying over stasis and pvp I just can’t do it any more. I get being upset but it’s taken to an aggressive level. If you don’t like the way the game is going, do what I’m doing with this podcast. Move on.

    More salty by the episode.
I used to like this show, but these guys sound like they need a break. They don’t seem excited about the show or the game anymore. They also seem like hardcore casuals, that are like fair weather fans in sports. They complain the entire episode and don’t offer any real constructive criticisms of the game, and often misquote information about the game and updates. Honestly I understand the game is not perfect but there is a difference between spewing 30+ minutes of negativity and using critical thinking in offering ideas and perspectives on how the game could change for the better. Maybe these peeps will become more positive with beyond light. Until then this guardian is out. Just listened one more time to give another chance. These people are honestly so misinformed, casuals shouldn’t have their own platform this big.

    Podcasts tired of the game
After listening to many episodes through season of arrivals to now with Beyond Light being released it is hard to deny that not everyone on the show enjoys the game anymore. I listen to podcasts about things I am passionate about. I want to hear other people passionate about the game. At this point it seems like they need to hand the reigns over to some other people who are currently enjoying it. Until then I am done hearing talk about how they hardly played or how horrible job Bungie is doing. There’s lots of interesting discussions and topics to cover right now rather than talking about how a lost sector was temporarily removed for a few days.

I don’t know why people hate this?
This is such a good podcast

    Bryan Malcowitz ruins the show
This idiot talks over people like it’s his job. Guy has absolutely no clue when he should speak. Ruins an otherwise good show.

    Been watching for years....
This show always has a ton of information week in and week out. Show went through a lot of changes regarding people and the show still carries on !! Keep putting out great content, and would love to play with you guys one day !

    Include casual players
Love the perspective of the pros, but you should talk to casual players to see their outlook on why they're not playing or how to improve game play

    Thank you guardians
Having coming back to Destiny 2 after almost 2 years away (been playing the game since D1 launch) having a resource like this podcast has been great. I’ve checked out other D2 podcasts and can’t find one that compares to this one, the passion for the game mixed with honest criticism is exactly what I was looking for on my commute. Keep it up please!

    Too salty
This most recent episode of fire team chat was the nail in the coffin for me. Destin has proven time and time again to be out of tune with the player base. Destin stated in this recent episode (what you need to know about the weapon changes) that the player engagement was lower than ever this season. That is 100% false. Pve had almost a million players concurrent in FEBURARY. During other times in destiny, the player base for both parties was one million (pve/pvp). All three members stated that this season did not have a lot of content. It was TEN DOLLARS. It has plenty of content. The guys in this show just wine and complain to wine and complain and while Destiny is not perfect by any means, I’m tired of people harping on things that aren't there. I’m done watching or listening to this show. SNTR is a much better podcast and Lono states perfectly what’s going on with the game. I’d recommend using my time there and not on this podcast.

    Great show
Latest episode with SayNoToRage is terrible, guy is the biggest Bungie Shill I have ever heard on any medium. Hope he is never a guest again.

    Fantastic Show and Feedback
I love this podcast. I laugh at the inside jokes that both hardcore and soft core players should understand, and the content and thought put into these episodes is amazing! Love this show, personalities are fun and unique. 10/10, would/will listen to again.

    Farewell to another good host
Literally teared up listening to cj at the beginning of the video. Gonna be missed sir.

    Please normalize your audio
I want to like this show but the audio is always super funky. You need to mix your audio so that the output is the same for all individuals and for your music/intro. I have to turn this all the way up in my car to hear anything. Then when it switches to radio, my face gets melted off by Joe Jonas telling me how much of a sucker for me he is... You can do it
  • CardboardCrack
    It’s ok I guess...
I used to like this show far more than I do now. I still listen because I like podcasts and I like destiny. This show is mostly complaining now and it’s kind of annoying because the hosts don’t seem to know very much about destiny. Maybe they don’t play more than a few hours a week and that’s fine. But I really have a hard time because they work for IGN. It’s not like some guys got together and did a YouTube video in their kitchen. These guys are getting paid and working for a reputable gaming news org. The production quality is top notch. The content delivered is kind of meh, with news that isn’t always accurate and opinions, while passionate, seem misplaced and under informed. There are other destiny podcasts out there that get things right and are more entertaining. For context I am just a casual gamer and dad, playing 10 hours a week or less. I feel like they should be more informed or experienced than I. Most of the time they can’t even get the names right when referring to items or game lore. That being said, I still listen each week and enjoy maybe 50% of the podcast.

You know when the ghost comes in paranormal activity and the bass starts to rumble, that’s what I hear when I listen to this podcast in the car lol 😂

    Great Destiny themed podcast
It’s an honest podcast about what is great and frustrating about Bungie’s Destiny. If you’re a fan of the game this is the best podcast on the subject in my opinion.

Ep 208 A Trip Down Audio Memory Lane.
I absolutely loved the section of this episode where you played different audio files and had to guess what weapons they were from, or different songs and had to guess which encounter they were from! Brought back so many great memories from both Destiny 1 and Destiny 2. I definitely wanted to take this opportunity to throw out one of my favorite soundtrack moments from Destiny 2: The Hunted!
  • Mona.Wheeler
    Its good
You should know that this is meant as a video show and the sound is uploaded as a podcast. That makes a difference. Still a good listen.

    Made me hate Destiny
This podcast made me hate destiny to the point where I haven’t played it in about two months. They seem to enjoy completely different aspects of the game than regular players and they make suggestions on the podcast that bungie seems to be listening to. As a result of many of these changes suggested on fire team chat, Destiny 2 has evolved into a much worse game. Especially in the updates to Destiny that have come after the excellent Forsaken update. Since that expansion’s release, the game has gotten steadily but aggressively worse and in my opinion it’s clearly because of influencers such as fireteam chat and others. Many players who don’t like all of these changes have quit - leaving just the group of players that do like the changes which reinforces the idea that the changes were good because the current players like them. But that is faulty and circular logic. If I have 100 friends and I start abusing them and 95 of them leave so that I am left with five friends I should not conclude that my friends enjoyed being abused - the majority of them obviously did not.. They also just don’t seem to understand gaming and marketing concepts like market differentiation. In the most recent episode they were talking about how a battle royale game would work in destiny and all of their suggestions were to make it a battle royale game similar to Apex legends, PUBG or F-nite. However, destiny should use it’s own strengths in a battle royale game. There’s no reason why just because those other battle royale games do something that destiny has to do it. (Destiny is well set up to differentiate itself in this genre. For example, in the other games you run around and pick up weapons and attachments. The fun of destiny is using weapons that you are used to and that you love. Nevertheless, the alleged experts suggested that destiny should do the same thing as all its competitors, rather than being destiny and allowing players to come in with all their equipment. Further they wanted to take supers out of the game or at least nerf them in the battle royale mode. This would be a huge mistake because there are plenty of battle royale games without supers. Someone who wants BR without supers can still play those games. Destiny could carve out its own place in the genre by having all the fireworks of supers constantly going off. I question why people who think supers are too powerful are even playing Destiny in the first place - but they certainly shouldn’t be the ones opining on D2 in a podcast. Supers are integral to what D2 is and always was. I strongly believe that this podcast is bad for Bungie and their sales and I believe that this podcast is also bad for the gaming industry because of their lack of knowledge of what makes a good game paired with their constant insistence on making suggestions to “improve the game.

    Fair representation today
What a great way to explain that there are 3 types of Destiny players. I never looked at it that way. I love Destiny can only do 6 hours a week. I’m definitely in category 2. Sometimes you folks (or one of you specifically) make me upset when you attack bungie’s decisions (ie: last wish timing, black armory power start, etc). Nevertheless, I realize you are there to provide a critical eye and engage in discussion. Thanks and please keep it coming.

Did I just experience harmony among gamers?
I really love how Sean was being a brothers’ keeper to Destin frustration. And it’s funny; normally Sean would be the hardcore guy yet logical and consciously perspective in his arguments. But in this episode he was being a peacemaker. Good job guys. I stop playing Destiny a year ago. Why do I still listen to this show, because the show itself is engaging and kinda makes me feel smart.
  • Xtb03x
    Meh
Kind of sick of how these guys are getting so negative. Especially the last episode about the Activision call. All they did was complain about not having anything to do in the game and when they list off the things they have actually done, they are missing a good chunck of content. There are plenty of other podcasts out there that aren't so whiney, and negative all the time. Get new hosts and maybe that will help.
  • Jibbis
    Great show!
Can’t stand Fran and his whining. 5 starts if Fran leaves.
  • maestrad01
    Great team; fun and honest
Great group of guys that discuss all aspects of the game and keep it truthful. I’m with you guys even if you switch to covering another game. (Division, Ghost Recon, etc.) PROS: No cussing!!! I can listen to this show with my son and not have to worry. Please don’t ever change this. Simple and to the point. No excess discussion, no inside jokes that can’t be explained in under three minutes, no incessant giggling, and not preoccupied with sounding cool. CONS: Too short (though probably why it’s so great) Fran isn’t always on.
  • Frankcastle614
    Love it
Love love love the podcast have since day 1. But unfortunately one thing hasn’t changed and needs to Fran is a completely pretentious DBag!!!!! FIX IT lol
  • NickGardn3r
    Things change
This was once a enjoy podcast I looked forward to. Now I feel like it’s a 30 min complaint session, with wishing it was WOW and diablo. I guess I can’t say it’s “bad” now just not enjoyable for me.
  • Unimatrix0069
    Get rid of Sean
Chomp chomp has got to go he is nothing but a drag on the show. He brings nothing of value. His brand of elitism and entitlement are toxic . He clearly hates the game and every episode he is on he interrupts and stampedes over everyone to proclaim his love of diablo 3 and halo . I say give him his own show so I can enjoy this one again
  • rev. kiljoy
    Guilty pleasure
This show is really my guilty pleasure. It's a bunch of guys from IGN who basically complain they Destiny is too easy and geared toward casuals. Then Bungie updates the game and they complain that Destiny is too hard and not geared towards casuals. Then Sean Finnigan comes on and complains about everything, even to the point of contradiction of what he has complained about on previous episodes. But, that seems part for the course here.
  • teflondonghost
    Should be 5 stars
You guys are great. But took 1 star out because the intro music was changed. Bring back the original intro music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Fatsoul01
    Sick of the salt
    Not listening anymore.
  • Dusty llama
    Pessimistic
I keep giving these guys a chance, but most of the time I try to listen there is just too much pessimism from this group. I don't sense that they love the game. If you're a Destiny lover I don't know that this is the podcast for you. But if you're a lover of being critical of Destiny, then check it out.

    Good show
I enjoy your different perspectives on this game. I think that you are fair in both your criticisms and praises for this game. I would be willing to listen if you did want to try other games. Thanks for the content.

Love it! I listen every week! Nothing better
  • Nickarmstrong84
Decent podcast, please don’t talk over each other
Thanks for the content and opinions. It’s nice to hear an in depth discussion covering pvp, pve, lore, updates and more. Please do us a favor and try to avoid the lengthy over talking moments, it’s cringe worthy sometimes.
  • jjsissman
If you wanna hear a bunch of dudes complain...
Then here’s your podcast! While these guys have industry experience and claim to be passionate about Destiny and Bungie, it’s exhausting to hear them poop all over the game and say “we just want it to succeed” while they name every short coming under the sun. Rarely are they positive and they usually don’t have a great perspective of the casual player, just the 1% “hobbyist” point of view that is entitled overall. At least their episodes are short. If you want a positive AND constructive podcast about Destiny, pick any other one out there.
  • IamBartman
Balanced commentary on a unbalanced game
Great podcast focusing on the Destiny franchise. I particularly enjoy the diverse gaming background (Halo, WoW, CoD, CS) of the panel, which leads to great discussions on the good and not so good of Destiny. The panel also balances legit criticism without being an absolute salt mill, unlike other podcasts that either shill for Bungie, or are just overly negative. Well done gents. Keep it up!
  • jrock3639
Just tired of hearing the same stuff
Bungie literally posts a blog saying yes we know the changes you want and we are working on all of them. Yet they still bring up the same points over and over and make people feel bad about playing D2. All of the negativity just bothers me so much I’m sorry I really am just have to stop listening because it’s ruining my enjoyment of the game.
