    Beautiful assortment of emotions
Excellent series that brings the passengers and crew of the Titanic to life. The readers are wonderful, matching gender, accents and age to the original letter writer. The only thing I did not care for was the main narration, which at times bordered on horror movie theatrics, with creepy lines such as "but who will live and who will die?" I could have done without the drama from the main narrater, but that doesn't take away from the overall quality of the rest of the presentation. This is well worth listening to if you want to understand the Titanic tragedy from the human perspective.

    Poignant words
Passenger letters written on board the Titanic, starting from the day she left port. Gives an insider's glimpse of the voyage from widely varying perspectives: first class passengers to crew members working in the saloon and below decks. The letters are deeply moving as they convey the last days of each writer's life. They were going about their lives, just as you and I are now, assuming life will go on; business as usual. The fate of each writer is also reported. Carpe diem ~ Seize the day
