How did I not know about you guys? Listening's a pleasure since the hosts like and respect one another, have fun jousting together, and don't have shrill voices (a flaw that will make me drop a podcast, however good). I look forward to catching up on all your shows--thank you for what you do!

It’s a good podcast but would be much better if the one host could tell the story without the other constantly interrupting and making them go off topic over and over and over and over again. It really does get old and tiresome quick (ep. 17). The sound quality is great, the topics are very interesting and why I automatically subscribed before even listening to a single episode. The research is very well done. But... I just want to relax with a good story, not be stressed out because I keep having to skip forward. Just keep the interruptions few and relevant, please. Hopefully this will improve with future episodes; and I will absolutely recommend this podcast to my friends and family.

I just started listening to this podcast last year right after they quit updating. They stopped just when I got here! But I’m happy to see these guys back. They have good chemistry and the topics are considerably well-researched. 10/10 would recommend

It’s a drag getting through.

Jason’s “rationalizations” and reaching for explanations are just as bad, if not worse,then the “paranormal” explanations. I would love to keep listening because Sam does a great job of being neutral to open minded but Jason just gets under my skin.

What happened to this podcast? There hasn’t been any new episodes since July.

I have reacted to this weird year by getting down on weirder stuff. If you are looking for discussions of the paranormal to escape the “new normal” (Jesus Christ I hate it here) then this is a good podcast. The hosts are very relatable and have a great dynamic.

I recently discovered the Not Alone podcast and I am obsessed!!! I have listened to a lot of similar podcasts such as Astonishing Legends, Unexplained, Hillbilly Horror Stories, The Conspirators, etc...... but Not Alone has quickly become my favorite. Sam and Jason’s fun and entertaining personalities really set this show apart from the others. I constantly find myself smiling and even laughing while listening to them. I hope that they continue to enjoy what they do and are able to make new episodes for many years to come. Not Alone truly is Amazing.

Not alone is an all around great podcast. I love listening to the mythology of the cryptic and paranormal world. I love that the hosts present two different viewpoints, one a most likely believer and one a sometimes skeptic. It always keeps me thinking and considering these topics they present. I also love the overall vibe of the podcast. It centers around stories, but is also pretty funny. Overall a great one to listen to on my drive to work or just hanging out playing video games. Thanks a lot guys, keep it up!

I listened to the miracle of the sun. You guys did a great job in your research . I have been to Fatima on a Catholic Pilgrimage. It is a very reverent place. I enjoyed the different theories. Thank you for being respectful to those who believe in the children’s personal revelations of Our Lady of Fatima. I look forward to listening to more episodes.

I’ve been listening to Sam and Dean, oops I mean Jason... Over the past three weeks. I sought out podcasts to listen to over the quarantine to help me not feel alone while I painted and played ACNH, and my friend recommended this podcast in her list. I began at episode 1, the very beginning. It’s been an honor to listen as you two hatched like baby podcasters to become the confident and quirky owls we all love today. I am only on episode Fifty-Four, and I am deeply comforted to know that there are many more left to listen to. In these uncertain times, Sam and Jason have become my friends in isolation. They have shared so many adventures around the house with me: with laundry, cleaning, and laying with my cats contemplating my existence. I haven’t looked into these topics since I was a teenager and I LOVE learning new things about some of my favorite topics this way. I love nodding my head in agreement, yelling at my phone with my own opinions, and staring off into space after an episode to let it all sink in. I truly love the human connection between Sam and Jason. They argue like brothers and balance it out with very sweet respect and love for one another, all while serving their shows up, hot and fresh. While my partner absolutely cannot stand this show, I find great comfort each day in this podcast, as is evidenced by my habitual binge-listening. Thank you both for bringing your honest personalities to these topics: for Jason’s lighthearted jokes and courage to share his own thoughts, and Sam’s ability to smoothly incorporate Jason’s (sometimes wild) statements into the show. You both make these topics approachable and grounded, and far less boring than many podcasts I’ve listened to. (Sorry not sorry!) And despite what other reviews have said, I relate to the topics more because of how authentic you are, and that I’m the right age to get your jokes and asides. Keep being you, bro’s.

I found you a few months ago and have binged your whole catalog. I love the balance of the conversation. It sounds like when I sit down with my brothers to discuss random events. The favorite part of the show are the mini victories that Jason and Sam claim when they bend the other to their side. Hearing Sam say that David Eicht is crap, along with reptilian people, or hearing Jason say “maybe” when hearing Aleister Crowley is a spy, makes my day. Love the show and glad I get to eves drop on your conversations. Ps. Most cryptids are mistaken identity, but that doesn’t make them owls.

This podcast is well-researched, funny, and insightful. The 6-part series on Aleister Crowley is a gem for understanding the man and the history of magic. The hosts do an excellent job bringing his story to life and their banter adds another layer of fun and entertainment. This podcast to a great way to survive the lockdown and to expand your mind!

My friend, Paul, recommended your show. I love it. When I listen to NotAlone it's like i'm listening to my buddies talk about awesome stuff, except you guys do research. Jason and Sam talk about cool topics from history, from things like sea monsters and dragons to Skinwalker Ranch. They give you detailed telling of these subjects with multiple occasions and accounts. I love this podcast because they always have a splash of humor here and there that just make me laugh so hard. I definitely recommend listening to this podcast if you are interested in history and mystery :)

Hi, Sam and Jason! I have been listening to your podcast nearly since your beginning. It’s been a good run. I recently took a bit of a hiatus from podcast listening, partly to let the catalog of other shows I listen to build up again, and partly because I wanted to indulge in other forms of media for a time. I have returned, and I’m glad to say that your podcast was the first one I wanted to catch up on, and you’re both as charming and interesting as you ever were! I’ve found myself smiling at jokes and mistakes equally, which I hardly do when listening to a podcast. What can I say that hasn’t already been said about you and the show? Of course you are perfectly balanced, as (almost) all things should be, in viewpoints and theories and the like. Your banter is so engaging and entertaining, and it really does seem like I’m in a conference call with you two, listening to you joyfully discuss everything from Fatima to dogmen to the Flatwoods Monster. Just found these guys a few weeks ago, and have quickly worked through most of their catalog. The effort they put into researching their chosen topics is usually pretty evident, and between the effort behind the show and the variety of topics covered, this is a great podcast to help long days move just a little bit easier!

I enjoy listening to the different stories and hearing these two go on afterwards. Its best when the different tales are told in a linear story like way, for me at least. I’m sure it’s hard when the non believer (sorry bad with names) gives you so much crap tho. I appreciate the podcast pls keep up the hard work. 👍

Good on the subject matter. Good on contrasting views. Bad on interrupting each other and distracting banter.

Yet another jokey podcast wherein they cover interesting topics, but all the non-funny banter ruins it for me. Its not Astonishing Legends or Crawlspace- guys who know when to pull back and be serious.

These babes honestly are great. I love how they don’t take themselves way too seriously, but they do their research (yes, they know what they are talking about!). I’ve been listening to them for a couple of years - I am kind of ashamed to admit that I haven’t listened to ALL the episodes, but honestly, I would love to just ... spend the next 48 hours to binge, if I could. Keep up being beautiful and wonderful, babes; y’all have hit a sweet spot in my heart.

This podcast covers a wide variety of interesting topics. I love the humor that comes with every show. I listen on my commute to and from work, while doing housework, and while walking the dog. I have tried other similar podcasts, but always come back to this one. It’s my favorite!

I love this Podcast! Both Jason and Sam are really funny but don’t spend too much time getting to the topic. I really like the topics. I listen to a lot of paranormal podcasts and they do topics that are new to me (for the most part).

This is honestly one of my favorite podcasts. I am a PNW native, and while I was in the Midwest for grad school this pod got me though. It was like hanging with my nerd buddies around the DND table. This substitute for my dude friends back home filled my heart with happiness and kept the loneliness away while I was at school. the subject matter is wonderful and I love the casual friendly nature of the pod. You have a forever fan in me.

Just two entertaining dudes having a well researched chat about paranormal and ufo related topics. I listen to more than a few podcasts, but this is the only one I look forward to.

I really enjoy the banter between the two hosts, it adds contrast to the podcast instead of both host being in agreement to the validity of the subject being discussed. Keep up the great work y’all’s!

What the title says. It’s just like you’re there with the hosts. Just two friends doing a podcast and the third wheel as an audience member. They’re informative and entertaining to listen to, always showing us two sides of the coin. They could do a show on the Christian panic of Pokemon that occurred in the 90s and the conspiracy behind it and I would still listen to it. Sure they can be a bit manchildish, but that’s part of their appeal

This is a great podcast, but I can never understand the episode titles, which often means I wind up skipping.

I love this podcast because I feel like the hosts really do their research & take people seriously. Too many people who explore the oddities in life look at it though a critical glass. The hosts have a good balance of topic content as well as a balanced view as they look at stories but keep the human aspect there. I’m always happy to hear a bit more about how we’re not alone 😎

I found this show after listening to a joint episode with Our Strange Skies, and it definitely is worth it to listen to. The hosts have a great dynamic between them and they do solid research. It also helps that they are vibrant personalities. It really is a pleasure to listen!! Thank you so much!!
