BethB10Stop trying to be a therapist.I love learning about the real lives of WWE superstars, their struggles and how they overcame them. What bothers me is that Lillian gives advise that she’s not qualified to give. Lillian is a journalist, not a therapist or psychologist. What’s worse is that she tries to relate with the Superstar by sharing a personal story that is not at all similar to the trauma the Superstar went through. I’m sure she means well but it’s condescending.
-
PuertoDorAlways so depressingI love love the interviews. I just dislike that every interview is so depressing and sad... I know in the end superstars overcome obstacles. For once it’d be nice to hear a realistic, raw and honest upbeat happy interview.

Leah💗LovelaceI can’t even express how I love this podcast.Hey Lilian, Thank you for this show, I can’t even express how I feel about this show. From 7-9 I was bullied for liking school and bring a happy attitude on Monday's, because where I live video games and junk food are the “cool” things and loving school is the “nerd things” there was a year where I shut myself up at school, I never talked because I felt that whatever I said I would get bullied on. But knowing you were bullied helped me through that time, I stopped being silent I answered questions, I worked hard, and kept thinking in my head Lilian got through this, look at where she is now. She was a WWE announcer, she owns a podcast, she is a legit super hero. She inspires others to be positive and never give up. These podcasts made me not feel alone, just knowing that these people were bullied help my out of it, and now I’m 14 I am in a reading club, I am on a volleyball team, I help make art for school parties and such and such. Without this show I might of still be silent, I thank you so much for this show, you saved me. Thank you for not making me silent. Leah💓Lovelace,

LexF91Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia is a GemI have to put Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia over cause it has a very intimate vibe about it when talents, Superstars get very personal about their lives, their triumphs, their struggles in their chase for glory. Lilian, your show is special it’s such a very positive & uplifting show that I reccomend to anybody not just Pro Wrestling fans. You should be proud of your body of work cause like you have said numerous times in interviews it genuinely is a labor of love for fans around the world. Much love to you always Lilian I’m forever a fan. #ChasingGlory 🎤 🎧 ❤️

Troi AndrewsOtis is GreatI just watched the Otis episode and I had no idea that Otis, just like me, suffers from a reading disorder. I had no idea that he and I had that in common and I think it’s great that I can relate to one of my favorite Wrestlers. Rock on Otis and God Bless. Also thank you Lilian so much for this podcast. Your an inspiration. God bless and rock on.

Jeso78245Simply AmazingI’m a HUGE wrestling fan and have been since I as far back as I can remember and stumbled upon your podcast when I started listening to Stone Cold Steve Austin’s podcast and he had you on it. I can honestly say I am hooked on this podcast and because of the people you have and their very honest and candid interviews, it makes it so easy to continue to listen. Keep up the fantastic work! -Jesse S- San Antonio Tx

thedruallenThe Melina Episode Helped MeTime and time again, Lilian Garcia has delivered hard hitting podcast tinted views with meaning. Everything feels so natural, and raw. Seeing this has helped me, as so many episodes have. Especially Melina’s episode. Life has been a whirlwind for me. Dealing with a narcissistic mother, and depression myself. Then came my independent wrestling career. When I was 16 years old, my mother was arrested for drug use and went to jail for some time. This came at the hardest point in my life. I was so lost. Recently coming out to my peers and facing rejection, my father rejecting me as well, whom I never really had a relationship with. I felt so lost, and then I was flushed into the foster care system. And these interviews helped me during the time. And, it helped a lot. Seeing I attempted to take my life as well. Today, I am proud to say I have regained my relationship with my father, am trying to do so with my mother, and more. My independent career as a ring announcer has flourished, and Lilian continues to deliver these amazing interviews. Thank You so much, because without such content, I do not believe I could be as inspired to chase my dream and goals. Thank You so much Lilian, and God Bless.

ECQ92Thank you for inspiring me.I want to start off by saying that I started watching WWE when I was 7 in 1999 (which was when you debuted, Lilian! I know you’ve talked about how you weren’t that great at announcing when you started, but I have no memories of that time. I only remember how amazing you were at it and how incredible it was to hear you sing the National Anthem every time I got to go to Raw at Madison Square Garden! I want to personally thank you for all of the hard work you put into this podcast. Not only is it inspiring to hear the most fascinating stories, but you’re also very inspirational to me as well. I am an aspiring journalist who aspires to interview individuals on their incredible stories the way you do. The way you form your questions are very smart. You’re able to really inspire your guests to open up when they probably wouldn’t otherwise. They feel safe opening up to you and that’s what it’s about. That’s what I aspire to be. Thank you for giving us such amazing content during these crazy times, and thank you for all the amazing memories growing up as a WWE fan (and still a lifelong fan!). You’re awesome, and don’t your ever forget that!

Cado86Lilian Is A Gift For Self MotivationShe was always my favorite ring announcer in WWE, and hearing her voice, and her guests talk about their ups and downs gives it a very human like substance. Lilian shows that you’re not alone in your fight, and to trust in yourself. Every journey is unique for each person. I couldn’t thank her enough for her episodes. They are therapeutic, and I look forward to her episodes each week. Thank you for being our light Lilian, and making us be a part of your family. Love you!

Mr. GQ CantuInspirationalI just recently got into listening to podcasts due to the pandemic, since I have more time on my hands now. Being a big wrestling fan, I reached out to friends for recommendations and ‘Chasing Glory’ was one of them. I’ve been hooked ever since. I love how Lillian starts off the cast with some inspiring words and always provides uplifting vibes during this time of crisis. She always brings out the best of her guests as well as she can relate to a lot of topics that they discuss. Keep up the good job Lillian, and thanks for keeping fans like myself entertained! Jesse ‘Mr GQ’ Cantu

LegitDubbAmazing & InspirationalI have always been a huge fan of Chasing Glory. Lillian have always impressed me with her announcing skills, and hearing so many superstars, personalities, and peoples chase to glory is nothing short of inspiring. Especially on days you’re feeling in the dumps, hearing a great chase to glory story is the perfect way to flip your mood. Lillian does great picking apart people’s story’s and digging deep into what set them on the right path. Easily in my top 3 favorite podcasts, and Lill we are going to get through this lockdown together!! Thank you for taking the time to do this show, especially during now, can definitely see how this is like a therapy session for you and your listeners alike. Thanks again 😊😊😊

Producer6Finally Catching UpI started listening during stay at home orders in the StL area. I’m a journalist, so I’m used to a busy newsroom and all the sounds that came with it. It was always on my “to do list” and I finally had time. While writing local news for a station here, I listened to 2 or sometimes 3 episodes a day. Lilian -with 1 L- helped me immensely. She was like my co worker who helped me get through each day while listening to a subject I am very interested in. I never have “watched” an episode..only listened. lol. For a woman, this really puts a nice, inside and emotional look at those who I revere for their extremely hard work and the talent/athleticism they share with fans. Thanks lady! See you in the office tomorrow! PS. Love the clothes but can we get some colors other than black? If so THANK YOU!!

Charlie85396Absolutely terrible.I was looking forward all week to MITB. The description to this podcast spoiled the ending within minutes after it ended IN THE FIRST SENTENCE. Don’t you realize some people watch it on the network later on in the evening and not live? I’ve never seen another podcast do this. Absolutely terrible.

Troy A. TurnerJust Glory-iousLilian is phenomenal at what she does. She never fails to make her guest feel right at home & her interviews are deep conversations between friends & Lilian is amazing to you. Stay healthy and please stay safe sis!!!!

Dj persinWhat an inspiring show!Great podcast. As a long time Wrestling fan, I truly love the way Lilian is able to get her guests to open up in a way some of them weren’t able to do before her show. I personally would love to hear WWE’s JoJo on her show. I think JoJo has an interesting story and would love to hear it. Keep up the great work.
-
Kimber MonroeSomething to look forward to on Mondays!I love listening to the personal stories including all the ups and downs of all the incredible guests on Chasing Glory! Please have Baron Corbin on soon!!

Eddie PonceI love Lilian Garcia!I hate podcasts but I love this one. Melina's interview was so deep and so helpful. Kayla Braxton's story touched me so much. This podcast has great content and great stories. Lilian if you see this, can you please interview A-KID from NXT UK? He's a Spanish guy representing for the Hispanic/Latino community. I would love to hear his story. May God bless you. This podcast is a ray of light in these hard times.
-
VinnieA81A Refreshing PodcastI am loving this podcast. Lilian Garcia is such a positive and upbeat person, and her interviews are hard-hitting and deeply personal. They have lessons to be learned and you really get to know the subjects, rather than just hearing about surface stuff.
-
Btr97Thank you🖤I just want to say thank you for being a truly amazing and genuine human being. The world would be so much better if there were more people like you. I loved when you had Molly Holly and she talked about her food addiction. Up until that, I didn’t realize that was a thing and that I was suffering through it. I still struggle with it, but because of her I now know how to handle it and I’m slowly making the steps to being a better and healthier version of myself. Thank you for all you’ve done and will continue to do. You’re an icon🖤
-
StephanieBeLikeAmazing Interviews and Insight!Lilian has a way of really making the guests feel comfortable doing the podcast and it shows. You can tell just by listening that it’s just 2 friends having a conversation. I enjoy listening to these episodes. You can tell everyone that comes on really trusts her with what’s discussed. This is great! Keep up the great work! -Stephanie

collinheathbarAmazing Podcast & A Potential GuestI absolutely love this podcast! This is a great platform for wrestling fans to get to really know their favorite superstars instead of just their act on TV. I love how open the guests are and how much they are helping others out there by speaking about their struggles. The episode that got me listening was Dana Brooke’s interview. I very much relate to her as I dealt with not being able to compete very much when I was a high school athlete. Thank you Lilian and the Chasing Glory team for creating a touching and impactful podcast that has helped me and many others to come! This is my absolute FAVORITE podcast to listen to when I study for my college classes and when I work out occasionally! One guest I would LOVE for Lilian to interview on the podcast is Alexa Nikolas. She is an actress residing in Los Angeles who has been through a rough divorce and hardships as an actress (especially when she was on Zoey101) and I feel that it’s VERY IMPORTANT for people to know the real, raw truth of certain experiences you can face in the entertainment industry. She has so much to teach others with her experiences and Chasing Glory is the PERFECT platform to open up!

SMI BellaGreat, Except...New to the show and have been binge listening. I’ve been a fan of wrestling and Lilian since the attitude era! A lot of the stories I resonate with! It’s so great that the woman empowerment feel this show brings. Until I listened to the Nita Strauss show. It kinda threw me off when you ladies were taking about the me too movement. It sounded like you both were dismissive of the women coming out because it wasn’t “your story” or what happened to you. Lilian made a comment about her one experience “do you think I’m stupid” in respond to a man inviting her to his room to listen to her music. Great for you that you knew not to. But there are a lot of young, vulnerable girls who may not know how to handle a situation like that! These men are manipulative and in power so they may be more incline to do as they say. It shouldn’t be a woman’s or girl’s job to control a mans intention. Please be sensitive to the victims out there who have experienced assault and harassment by men who took advantage of them not because of what they were wearing, not what we did, led them on... just cause it wasn’t your experience doesn’t mean you can support these women and stand up for them.

Carisa LopezMy love for this podcast!!!I love this podcast. I love how everyone, especially WWE superstars is opening up and telling their story. I’m a huge fan of WWE and the fact that they opened up made me feel that I should as open as they are. Some of the stories made me cry and feel many emotions. Thank you Lilian for having these people have a platform to open up. I hope you see this review soon.

Magic2022!REAL, RAW & WOW! WOW! WOW! INSPIRINGI can’t get enough of this podcast!! It’s so inspiring to hear these stories. For the longest time I thought I was alone. I especially like how you mix up the guests and give us variety. This podcast has opened up my eyes in so many ways and has made me want to be a better person no matter how hard the struggle. Thank you Lilian!! Great work!!!

Rodney Son of OdinGreat listen!I can see why Lilian is so highly thought of in the Wrestling community. She seems to be a genuine person and I’ve enjoyed listening to her podcast and listening to the compelling stories of the wrestlers.
-
Rafael.OronaThank you Lillian & Mia YimThis podcast is such a great place to get to know the human behind the performer. I know two people that unfortunately did go through domestic violence, one of them is a friend and the second my sister. This episode enlighten me when it comes to the psyche of someone going through it and while I was supportive I just didn’t understand their conflictive emotions. Also this episode just introduced to me Mia Yim as a human, what she likes and how hard she has fought to be where she is, not to mention she’s one of the best performers in WWE today so it wasn’t hard to see why WWE signed her when the opportunity presented itself. My respect to both Mia and Lillian for talking about such a difficult topic, but one that is far too common sadly.

meghwardsAmazing podcast! As we celebrate Veterans Day today I decided to listen to the JR Martinez episode. I came across this podcast a year ago and have been listening to episodes on and off. Two weeks ago I decided to start from the beginning as I exercise. Boy am I glad I did. I love how real and inspiring each guest is. JR is truly a good example of what inspires us as Americans from his calling to serve to his continued work with veterans. Cannot wait to continue to listen to all the past episodes and find out more about all the guests interviewed. Thank you Lillian for an amazing podcast to listen to!

Sazid KSuch an Engaging and Deep Podcast!A late arriver to this podcast but I’m making up for lost time! So glad I found this podcast! Lilian is such a wonderful personality and her interviews are all so engaging! I started with the Kofi 100th episode as I love his story, and before I knew it, I was on a binge of chasing glory episodes! I love how deep Lilian’s interviews go and how open her guests always get. The Johnny Gargano and Candice Michelle ones were two other episodes that really resonated with me but they are all so great! I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who enjoys a good interview and engaging stories on life and it’s struggles/successes! -Sazid K.

blue angelsChasing glory podcast.I’ve never been a podcast listener until one of my wrestling friend told me to listen to your podcast. WOW I am hooked. I’ve alway have been a fan since I was 8 years old. Just really never ever thought about the superstars that you have on your show having everyday issue. We as fans only see the in ring stuff. But the first one I listen to was Tamina Sunka. Just hearing her story about her father and raising her boys. Your podcast is by far the best. I always look for the next one to download and see who the guest is. I love how you don’t just have wwe folks but you have a everyone or anybody on your show. Keep it up I love your show. Because it’s real raw and inspiring. Note. My brother and I meet you in Nashville at a show you took a photo with us. Thank you for that. Josh Shelton

T. IskraLacie Evans EpisodeI produce the Department of Veterans Affairs’ official podcast, “Borne the Battle.” I was doing research a couple of months ago and I ran into a YouTube clip of Lilian’s interview with Lacie Evans. At the time, Lilian was the only one to have had an in-depth interview with Lacie. Last night I finally listened to the entire episode. The rawness, the emotion and the honesty in that interview - 1. Gave me a new understanding of Lacie, a fellow Marine and 2. Gave me a new appreciation of Lilian as an interviewer. I look forward to listening to more episodes and drawing from Lilian as a podcast inspiration. If you haven’t listened to that episode yet, it should be the next one in your que...WOW! Semper Fidelis, Tanner

You feel these peoples lives and she identifies and analyzes there issues like a wise friend. This show keeps me motivated and happy during some difficult days. Really liked the Jeff Hardy interview. Thank you Lilian u the best❤️
-
Best Women wrestlers everI kinda got attached after the bellas interviewSo Lillian u have always been the best ring announcer to me and I kinda got attached to ur podcast I’ve been attached for two years btw just to clarify I just love the bellas a lot and after I heard it FOR THE 8th time I can’t get over ur podcast and how much u bring out the real wrestler and not just the wrestler but the inner person inside them just like Nikki and Brie u see them as the Bella Twins but when u did the whole podcast with them u made Brianna and Stephanie come out thank u so much for being inspirational can’t wait for more!
-
fsisthecamafrLilian Garcia is 100% PerfectLilian Garcia is the best podcast person ever because I loved the way she interviewed Kofi Kingston. I want to hear more podcasts of her interviewing the Riott Squad and see if they have a chance to speak their heart. One thing I like about Lilian Garcia is I know about her doing the ring announcing for Monday night raw and she is 100% perfect person in the entire world. Listen to her podcast and let everyone’s voice be heard.
-
FuturepresA conversation between friendsI decided to listen to this podcast after seeing a list of the guests that were booked. I listened for about two episodes and became hooked. (I subscribed immediately) What I really enjoy about this podcast is not only the professional wrestling guests that are on the show, but how the interviews transpire. Some episodes come across more as old friends catching up then a question and answer type interview. I plan to continue to be a long time listener.
-
skippymedinaGreat ShowChasing Glory is a very inspiring podcast. Everything I listen to it I learn something about the people in the show and myself. I love the positive energy that Lilian brings to the table! She is a very supportive and wants people to grow and become a better version of themselves. Love the show keep up the good work Lilian, you and your crew are amazing great show!

mbryanfGet some more Lillian in your life!I have been a WWE fan and following on and off since I was about 9 years old (back in 1989). When I became a teenager in 1993 I had a falling out with WWE as I moved onto other hobbies. In 1993 after the passing of my mother (cervical cancer) I had a tough time growing up as a teenager and have been through a lot of trauma. From 1993- 1996 as a teenager I saw my father get re-married and then divorced two times. I had gall bladder surgery in 2007 and I became addicted to pain pills from 2007-2012. I got the help I needed in early 2012 in rehab and overcame the pain pill addiction as I have been clean for over seven years now! At one point the early stages in sobriety were so difficult, that the only thing that I strived to live for was WWE. I reconnected with WWE during early sobriety and caught up on almost every single pay per view that I had missed in between! Many WWE employees currently have their own podcasts, but Lilian’s podcast is different in that these are real interviews with WWE superstars who have been through some tragic obstacles along their journey to success. What I like the most about this podcast is that Lilian gives a fantastic intro of all of her guests to brief tge audience who may be unfamiliar with the interviewee. Lilian has genuine interest in the people with whom she interviews while also demonstrating that she does her research and already seems to be a fan of anyone that she has on her show! Not to mention that every show is uplifting and inspiring and we need more of that in today’s world. Please keep doing a fantastic job Lilian! Some guests that I would love hearing their story on this show sometime are: Aleister Black, Damien Priest, The Street Profits or Tomasso Champa! Mike F.
