The S.K.P. MachineA Garbage PodcastFactually incorrect, & shamelessly so. A complete waste of time.

abuererOlder episodes hold up wellThe earlier episodes often give introductions to topics in a way that normal people can understand. If you are interested n space and related subjects, then you can listen to these primers, get entertained and informed, and have a significant backlog of episodes that are still relevant. Plus, new episodes keep you up to date on recent developments.

eduran0826This Podcast Is A Must For Space FansThis is a fantastic podcast that presents space news and space history in a great way. They talk about commercial space, NASA, international space news and space history. The hosts are great and overall they make this one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. Keep up the great work yall!

ChristopherBioThe Space Podcast for EnthusiastsThis is a great podcast hosted by two professional communicators that squarely hits the sweet spot between general understanding and technical detail of all things SPACE. The hosts keep the discussions well above the 6th grade common denominator of news paper stories yet accessible to listeners who are not working in aerospace. Each episode of this biweekly (fortnightly) podcast starts with a roundup of recent space news before embarking on a deep dive into one or more meaty space topics. There have been a couple of guests so far with expertise in some aspect of space and they plan on having many more. New episodes of this podcast go straight to the top of my listening cue as soon as they are posted. Not to be missed.

m.t.majeskiBest Space News / History PodcastThe crew over at Liftoff are my primary way of keeping up with the latest space news. You get a good mix of NASA, commercial, and planetary news - as well as excellent historical coverage during the anniversaries of prior space achievements.

Christopher126Love it!Two 'gents' with a passion for the subject...I listen on my trail runs. Next thing i know, I've cranked out 5+ miles ...in the Sonoran Desert, Usuary Pass, Mesa, AZ, Jason. :) P.S. DL'd, on iBooks, 'Into the Black' and loving it! Thanks

dotHTMA Scottish American playing Kerbal is more informative than this showUnfortunately I had high expectations for this, and was disappointed by yet another “read the headlines and amateur commentary” podcast. Neither of the hosts are engineers or have science backgrounds. Also, I guess I just don’t like Jason Snell, even if he’s not talking about Macintosh.

JdtooneSpace + Tech + FriendsAwesome space podcast! I love the up-to-date space news and fun discussion. The hosts are clearly passionate about the topic.

E-WaddaWell balancedWith a science show like Liftoff, it is difficult to simplify matters enough for lay persons while not stripping out so much detail that the show is not informative. Liftoff manages to strike this delicate balance. The information density is similar to or maybe slightly lower than what you'd find on Wikipedia, but it is presented and related in a more comprehensible manner. The hosts are always well prepared, which gives the show a smooth flow. They are disciplined and do not go off on extended rants, but are not overly formulaic. In general the show is very well balanced. The negative reviews I read suggest that Liftoff is politically biased. It isn't possible to talk space without some discussion of politics, but I really don't find these discussions to express much political bias. One final note is that the hosts speak clearly at a consistent speed and rarely talk over each other, so the show can be pleasant at accelerated speeds with very limited squeaky pitches.

The MoondogYou don't have to be a rocket scientist...This is a fortnightly podcast that I have put in my regular rotation. Jason and Stephen obviously love talking about space and their enthusiasm is infectious. Jason's explanation of the lifecycle of stars was mind-blowing. I always learn something new.
-
BallaballawallaSpace talk for non-rocket scientistReally good space talk and news but not overwhelming with details and minutiae that go to far over my head - but having said that it's still a very knowlegable and details presenation. It's a very fine line between causual and too detailed they walk and it really works.
-
dwearschSpace!Jason and Stephen are a great pair to breakdown both mainstream and super-detailed ultra-nerdy space news. Thanks guys!
-
Adam Becker OHInformative yet accessableThe hosts do a great job of keeping things from getting overly technical. Or they follow up a very technical bit of information with a simplified explaination of what they just said. I have found the show very interesting and I really enjoy checking out the things they post in the show notes on the relay.fm website.

IThinkThingsIt was their job to watch The Martian, and they clearly didn't.If you like hearing two guys completely butcher the Martian, this is the podcast for you!

LoyalSageI'm in SpaaaaaaaaaaaaaceI like Space. These guys are cool. This podcast is cool. Listen to it.

Chris KrychoSo much nerdery.Jason and Stephen are nerds who love space, but they’re above all writers and communicators. The results is a really, really great show that’s a lot of fun as well as informative. Interviews with data visualizers working at the JPL? Yes, please! (Also, that theme is *great*.)

DotPdfScience Fun!Keeps me up to date with all of the awesome science news and more.

Christian StrømmenLOVE this showAs a big fan of The Incomparable and a space geek, having a friend recommend this show made my day. Both Hackett and Snell have so far produced 3 great episodes, and I’m hoping for many more in the years to come.

carlsonmcdonahanThis is awesome.I never even knew I wanted a show like this until Liftoff came around. Both Hackett and Snell seem well informed, and it’s just awesome getting a podcast where a couple people just hang around and talk about space.
