This podcast is awesome! I’ve been listening for a year and the conversations about food and love are always so entertaining and thoughtful!

Stevie and Dave: You two are doing a terrific job of producing a quality podcast. I just listened to the end of year wrap-up episode and I have to say, you don't need guests. But when you have guests, you two are very gracious and complement the guest as well as each other. You are a great team, and I wish you all the best.

I came for the catchy title, stayed for the banter, and have been held captive by the insightful life commentary. As light-hearted as the conversation can be sometimes, it is equally raw, powerful, and insightful in others. The “food = love” metaphor will surprise you with how deeply it resonates, and what it can show people about themselves. I keep coming back to this podcast because it feels like the genuine commentary of two people(and a host of witty guests) who are just figuring it all out, and supporting each other in the process. I recommend this podcast if you feel like being entertained, inspired, and made to feel just a little less alone. Thank you Stevie and Dave!

(New) Listening to season 2 has been a very enjoyable experience. Stevie and Dave make me laugh even more, and the guest have a great variety of relationship and food qualities. If anyone is thinking about starting the show I really do recommend the one on one episode. It does a great job explaining the tone, and just has really good stories overall. The audio is also fantastic this season, it's been easy to listen to in the car, my office, or at home just throught he phone speakers. Keep up the great content! I hope Dave finds that grocery twin. -Avery (Old) Stevie and Dave are a perfect mix. The stories they have continue to make me laugh. The content is fun and sincere, so you get to laugh and honestly take away a lot of positivity each week.

Funny show. Interesting perspectives. Dave speaks for many men with an rational genuine point of view... Stevie is a confident woman who eloquently speaks from the head and heart. Maybe a little more food talk, but the rest is good stuff. Glad they're back!

Love I Burn Everything. Kind folks talking about everyday things with people they know and care about. It's never too inside baseball, even when the guests are close — just real life conversations about navigating it all.

The podcast's concept is wonderful and the guests are generally really great but Stevie Nelson is such an obnoxious, west coast yea-sayer that halfway through the podcast you wonder if she has any opinions of her own at all or if she is truly a vapid void of a person. And the co-host, Jeff or something, really has nothing to say except compiment Stevie it's a weird dynamic. I hate-listen to the podcast to fall asleep because Stevie has a really soothing voice and they are never discussing anything of real substance so it's perfect for that.

I don't normally leave reviews, but Dave and Stevie asked so nicely, and I genuinely adore this podcast, so of course I'm going to do it. I love hearing different perspectives on food and dating because no two people are ever alike (and also because I'm not great at cooking or dating, so...). These two cuties are such complementary hosts and the guests are ace. I even relistened to the entire first season with a guy I was dating and we discussed our favorite parts and theories! We broke up in a really dumb way, but that's definitely not the podcast's fault and he probably should've listened more carefully. Anyway, are you still reading this far? Do people read reviews? I don't know, just go listen, babyyyyy. 🍞

An honest look at the difficulties in dating AND cooking? Love it! Stevie and David keep each episode meaningful and fun, the time flys by. I look forward to every episode!

Stevie and Dave have great chemistry, and I love hearing their thoughts and stories. This podcast has helped me understand the fascinating ways that feelings about food can intersect with feelings about relationships. I genuinely feel like my own thought processes about food and relationships have been improved by listening to their perspectives. I wish they were still doing new episodes!

Love this podcast sooo much! To the point that I am so sad that it is not going on at the moment. But you guys have busy lives and I totally get it! Nevertheless, I love the conversations and topics you guys have and a lot of what you talk about has really changed my view on things for the better. This is such an empowering podcast for men and women and encourges them to live life in a healthy, happy way that benefits yourself and the others around you. Stevie and Dave are two of the most precious humans and I absolutely adore their banter. While the podcast is funny and light hearted they also actually give some sincere thoughts and valuable life lessons. #tinytoastieforlife

This podcast is so fun. I love feeling like I'm part of their crew simply because of their casual, friendly, open, and honest conversation. My best friend and I love it so much that we text each other updates if the other hasn't listened yet. (Just yesterday, she texted me, "Stevie moved in with her boyfriend!") Super pumped to keep listening when they're back for a second season.

I've been listening to "I Burn Everything" since it started, and I've enjoyed every episode. Stevie and Dave have great chemistry and their guests are truly entertaining. I normally listen to it on Headgum, but Dave made me feel guilty for not rating/reviewing it on ITunes, which is why I'm doing it now. I plan on listening to every episode again when I'm driving cross-country in August.

Fun show with good insight

I found this podcast because Stevie was on the Best of Friends podcast and I loved her voice and humor (you know those voices you just love listening to?). Still love all that jazz plus Dave makes the perfect chill counterpart. This podcast is for sure for the more open-minded (butt stuff! open relationships!) and I probably notice this more with my upbringing in midwest conservative/religious culture BUT I highly recommend it for the sex positivity, entertainment and legit relationship advice. <3

The hosts always deliver on the humor front and work well together. Guests are also steadily funny, real and witty. I think I've listened to every episode so far and they have all made me laugh and made me think about relationships and food on a deeper level. I never realized how interconnected the topics were. Helps work go by faster for sure, cheers.

I absolutely adore Dave Horwitz, and I can not compliment Stevie enough on how articulate, funny, insightful and just all around fabulous she is. The first episode I listened to was the one with Ingrid Haas (love her!), and it was one of those, where in the first several minutes I just KNEW it was a keeper. "Are our boobs big enough for Dave's dad to like us?" ♥♥♥

stevie and dave are intelligent and warm and friendly people and it's a treat to hear them dissect and meander and ponder about two endlessly interesting subjects. the guests are very well selected and jibe wonderfully with the conversation. a delight to behold, listen to it and be merry! (also please have the dogs on soon. i have so many questions)

Here is my truth: I tend to only listen to established podcasts and I decided to take a chance and listen to this one and I'm glad I did. If you like NERDIST you are going to love this podcast. You get to hear about different aspects of people's life and hear some pretty phenomenal stories from people who are going to blow up in the next few years. There first guest Noel Wells (you know that girl that we all love from MASTER OF NONE) and it's awesome to hear how down to earth this girl is. Each guest has a bright new take on relationships and food. I really enjoy the two hosts and their clever back and forth and it honestly feels like a true podcast with no scripts and just hanging out with friends. Take a chance on this podcast. And don't worry. It's not all about butt stuff.

I follow the headgum network religiously, so I happened to stumble on this podcast on their website the other day. It's so hilarious and their chemistry is great to listen to. The talks on dating were great and extremely relatable. I subscribed immediately, because I can't wait for the new episodes! Keep it up!

Stevie and Dave set a funny and conversational tone to this podcast. Their first guest, Noël (Master of None) is hilarious and self-effacing. Their longtime friendship is evident in their repartee. The topics (dating and food) go remarkably well together and work as an excellent jumping off point for relatable discussion. Highly recommend.
