They are hilarious! I love Hannah’s comments all three host are hilarious though! When they read Hannah’s notes those are the best! Highly recommend! Lately been falling asleep to old episodes. Forever favorite podcast ❤️

I’ve been listening to these three goofs since day 1 and by all rights I should have 5 starred them long ago. I’d double up on these stars if I could cause it’s well deserved. First off you got Zac “When did she get a septum piercing??!” Cupples, showrunner, pace-setter, knower and noticer of stuff, & all around hard working guy. Then there’s his lovely wife Hannah “Dumb names for colors upset me..” Cupples, a clear Type 3, who I would have named first because she’s clearly in charge of all things, but I was going on the order they introduce themselves. And last but never least we have Jake “How y’all doin tonight?/Hey! YOU’RE not afraid of me!!/I’m not crazy, OK?” Ingle who just got a new haircut so ladies watch out. Possibly the most endearing goober I’ve ever listened to, hilarious with a heart of gold. I wholeheartedly would love one day to sit around with them and talk a bunch of nonsense about any topic. There is no other Challenge podcast that makes you feel like you’re with friends & family quite like this one. If I wasn’t so broke I’d be giving to their patreon. Bless all of em, I look forward to their take on the show more than the actual show by now. Give em a try.

It feels like I’m sitting here with my best friends every week. I’m so glad I found them!

Zach is gross- he thinks he’s the expert on everything is is exceptionally dismissive to not only the woman competitors but also to his own wife/co-host. Jake is slightly better but not by much. There are so many other challenge podcasts out there at this point that unless you share their views and believe women don’t hold value don’t waste your time listening to this one.

Sometimes it feels like I’m sitting in on a marriage counseling session. Everything poor Hannah says is wrong to her husband, Zac. Everything she says is immediately shot down and Zac loves to make her look dumb. It is just uncomfortable after a certain point. Even when Jake occasionally shoots Hannah down, of course Zac has to pile on and then it’s just two men basically ganging up on a woman and telling her how dumb she is (when she isn’t at all). I love the chemistry between the hosts otherwise. And I have listened to and enjoyed this podcast for a few years now. They just need to tone down the picking on Hannah because it keeps getting worse and worse and like I said, gets plain uncomfortable.

I love the Wes podcast, he’s my favorite. I never realized just how smart Wes is, thoroughly enjoyed this!! Oh and I for one love long podcasts!! Great job guys!!

Zac, Hannah, and Jake do a great job of providing fun fan insight into the pod while also getting interviews. Whenever they criticize a person or praise a person they always back it up with what has happened on screen and are incredibly fair to all the participants of the show. They do not get involved with the toxic twitter drama and keep everything light hearted.

Love it all-great challenge talk, insightful observations, hilarious tangents/stories, and great chemistry between all the hosts. I only listen to Challenge pods that discuss the show in ways that are inclusive, socially aware, and don’t shy away from calling out toxic behavior and Smashing Heads is consistent in all these. Even if I don’t agree with all their takes, I know they aren’t based on a lot of the toxic thinking other show hosts have. I’ve been listening for a long while and they’re still in my top three favorite Challenge pods. They really care about their listeners/patrons too. Definitely recommend.

I understand this is a podcast about the show, but both Zack and Jake display such blatant misogyny. They never have ANYTHING kind, nice, or supportive to say about the female competitors on this show. Even when the men on this show act like total, complete jerks to the woman, 9 times out of10 Zack defends the problematic behavior. I mean.... he even would defend Zach Nichols. I even feel as the the female on this show doesn’t get a fair chance to ever speak her mind. Why have her on, just to tell her how much of a joke her opinions are, yet they want to be respected for theirs? I really would like to see them not have so much toxic masculinity on this show and show more support and love to some of the female competitors on this show.

I really enjoy this every week, but the men are mean to Hannah, they make fun of her so bad, it seems as though her husband disrespects her so much, she laughs and doesn’t get mad and most of the time it’s harmless, but sometimes I feel cringy listening to them go in on her

My favorite Big 3 in all of podcast history. Great chemistry, humorous & ever pleasant with their delivery. 👍🏾👍🏾

You guys are too tough on Hannah.

For the most part I do enjoy this podcast. There are always things that can be improved but overall I think it’s pretty good. I think the guys need to talk to Hannah about her long pauses when she chimes in. You know when Michael Scott goes on about how sometimes he starts a sentence and doesn’t know where it’s going to go...that’s Hannah.

I’m sure it’s a lot of work to get these podcasts up as quickly as you do after each episode but it’s really appreciated!

This is my go-to challenge recap podcast and favorite one by F A R! Each person adds their own take on the episodes, which makes for some great banter and playful back and forth difference of opinions. They’re super nice and have some great takes on the show. There has been something bothering me about this podcast as much as I love it. It’s Zac. He’s such a jerk to both Hannah and Jake... I feel like Jake is respectful even if he disagrees, and Hannah has strong opinions and stands firm on them, and maaaaybe is a little rude about it... Zac, however belittles people that disagree with him... it may seem like playful ribbing and you think, well it’s his best friend and his wife, but I think he steps over the line sometimes and constantly cuts people off... even jokes about muting mics, but it makes me mad when he does. He seems to really enjoy making people look like idiots, as he (and Hannah sometimes too) likes to harp on simple slips of the tongue and maybe not recalling something exactly correctly... Please do better Zac...

Great podcast - would give it 5 stars but Zac constantly dismissing Hannah’s comments grates on me. Otherwise it is great!

I love this podcast so much it feels like you are just talking with your friends about a show y’all equal enjoy. The host are great and are not afraid to state their opinions and are very respectful while doing so. 10/10 listen, kid friendly, spoiler free, and drama free. Easily one of the best reality tv podcast with how light everything is.

Smashing Heads is billed as a conversation between friends who love The Challenge, and that's exactly what it is. The hosts are really genuine people with varied viewpoints who don't take reality TV too seriously. They're also funny and like to tell personal stories and sometimes have "controversial" opinions, just like any group of friends. A highlight is definitely the strong network of relationships the show has created with some of the cast. This has resulted in some insightful and original interview content, and you really get to know the guests outside of their TV personas.

Absolutely love this podcast. What I look forward to most on my morning commute the day after The Challenge airs. I really appreciate the “fan perspective” all 3 hosts provide. Their banter together is great and I love how they each provide their own unique perspective on different cast members and scenarios. You truly feel like you’re sitting there with 3 of your best friends talking about the show. Keep it up guys you are so appreciated!

Only give this a try if you want to listen to a group of Zach (on the challenge, not the host) apologists. From saying they don’t remember what he has said in the past that made him so hated (all his sexist comments) to more recently, “I don’t condone his actions BUT ...” before proceeding to list all the reasons they condone his actions and “get” why he acted that way. Also, they go on 5-10 minute tangents about random things in their childhood whenever anything (like, a railing or a building) on the show reminds them of something. They do this so often that you have to have your thumb on the skip button. They reference people that only they know a lot. And then proceed to talk about the person as if the listener has any clue what they’re talking about. Not great if you are trying to listen to a podcast about the challenge.

I LOVE this podcast. They are spoiler free and PG with their language. It sounds more professional than the ones that allow cursing. They are more organized than other podcasts when discussing each episode as well. I also contacted them a few times and they actually write back which is awesome too. ❤️

Honestly, they have the best Challenge podcast out there. Been listening to them for two years almost and probably the main reason I still listen to them is because from the beginning it felt like you’re listening to you’re friends and not some strangers talking. Give really good insight on the different people on the show. I may not agree with them all the time, but their insights definitely bring a new perspective that I probably wouldn’t have been seen had they not pointed it out. P.S. Jake’s accent is most definitely not fake... I’m from Texas... I should know.

This is my go to podcast for the day after the challenge and I love it! But I’m a little bothered that the guys often dismiss Hannah when she’s right, or even for just speculating, when Zac and Jake speculate all the time. For example, it was confirmed on Twitter that they dressed up bc it was around Halloween, so give Han some credit! Anyways love you guys keep putting out the awesome content! 😍❤️

Entertaining and the hosts seem like nice decent people and that comes through.

As a huge Challenge fan, I love being able to hear others opinions about what is going on in the show. I look forward each week to hearing their opinions on what is going on. They are charismatic and easy to listen to while doing other tasks. In between Challenge seasons they even review older seasons of the Challenge to keep us wanting more!! Please please please watch Survivor so I can start listening to you guys 2 times a week instead of 1 haha.

Shout out to Jake for always being concerned with how people’s names are properly pronounced. I listened to another podcast where they continuously butchered Asaf’s name so it was nice to hear that you guys were respectful enough to say it correctly. Been a fan for a long time keep up the great work

This podcast is a decent option if you don’t want to pay to be a Patreon at Challenge Mania. I would give it 5 stars if Zach wasn’t such a know it all that uses most the episode to put down the other two hosts. Zach criticizing his wife after every single comment she makes can get awkward. Zach criticizing Jake after every other comment gets old too. Would love to hear an episode without Zach and see what the dynamic of the show would be.

Sometimes I wonder if we are watching the same show, lol.... Theo didn’t make the finals last year, bear is greater than Theo, and they put subtitles up on purpose. Enjoy the show, keep up the good work and good luck with future projects, Matt

Simple review. My favorite podcast. Love Zackh and Hannah and all of our best friend Jake. (Really just Zackh’s best friend but he feels like all of our best friend)

Great chemistry between the 3 of them but I had to give a less than 5 star rating because more recently they have been taking the first 15 minutes to chat about everything but the Challenge. I wish they would go back to their roots and stick to that format.

When the crew is talking about the show it is fantastic. The only two issues are just how long it takes for the actual pod to start, typically I have to fast forward up to 15 minutes for plugs, and random banter. Please start time stamping, or save plugs to the end. Also you clearly value relationships with potential challenge competitor interviews, but they hold back on criticism of players they have talked to/want to talk to. Still 5 stars bc I respect the hustle and don’t want to tank a rating of a show I like. Crew has great chemistry and excellent commentary, but having to fast forward through bickering and plugs hurts the experience.

Giving 5 stars for Jake’s appreciation of Paulie and for the respect he gives to Shalegend. Also for the random Svetlana references I’ve been hearing the past couple months. Hannah is sweet and pairs so well with Jake and Zac. And bless Zac’s heart for trying to balance the duo of Jake and Hannah. He does it well and the dynamic is great for listening.

The hosts have a really natural chemistry because they have known each other for a long time. They have a playful banter along with giving great recaps and opinions on the Challenge Seasons. I also have to say I appreciate them being critical of the Challengers at times without being rude or mean. They never attack appearances and that is super refreshing! Last, become a Patreon! There extra content is great and they are very interactive with patrons!

I know this is a challenge podcast but when zack said boy meets world is the best show he instantly became my best friend lol I had to drop 5 stars for that. keep up the great work y’all

This a great podcast! I love that you can listen and tell that the 3 hosts are best friends. I actually find the tangents very funny and I laugh through most of this—while getting some fun Challenge content! The only thing I would recommend is losing the “G” rating. Most children don’t watch the Challenge and any teenagers who do, hear much worse at school. It just kills the vibe when Hannah is lecturing the guys for saying “penis” or “sex”. The show needs to mature in this manner.

I’m a hard core Challenge fan. I’ve watched every season multiple times, so the first few episodes were really hard to listen to when they don’t know much of the history. But give them a try, they really get into their groove after about 5-10 episodes. And they are actually going back and watching earlier seasons to increase their knowledge. They have a good vibe with each other. I’m only on episode 21, but I enjoy this podcast.

Only one I listen to besides challenge mania

They have a great deal of knowledge of the show & history but are biased on certain people on the show. They say they hate when people “ are to mean “ or do things on the show but they constantly make Pauly seem like a bad guy when he did nothing to them personally.

I really like the discussions and insight all three of the hosts have but it gets awkward when the couple bickers with one another.

I absolutely love Paulie, and to be honest he’s the only reason I’m still watching the show. I think his attitude towards the show is how everyone should go about it and he’s just an amazing competitor overall. I love how he’s an open book and I really enjoyed listening to his personal life/his thoughts and what goes on in his head. Can’t wait to hear more from him, so please have him on again soon!! Also glad he was on your show cause it introduced me to yalls podcast!
