SpiderPool279On a Matter of PrincipleThis is going to be a weird review. I have not listened to this show. I do not intend to. There is far too much of it and while I love the hosts when I hear them on other shows, or crossover episode, and have enjoyed them outside of the podcast medium, I do not have near enough time to finish this podcast before the eventual heat death of the universe. This review is more of a review of the “From Superheroes” network, than for this podcast. I have never followed a “podcast network” before, but besides THIS one show, I follow the rest of network. The talent curated is so magical, I am jealous. All of the podcasts are pure gold, and I imagine this one is too. Give it a listen, enjoy, and then check out some other shows on the network as well!

N OvertonNot as funny as they think areNot horrible but I have a hard time getting through most episodes. They repeat each other way to much.. saying it again does not make it funny..

David Loves ComicsWonderful Show! The Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis of the nerd Airwaves are always an enjoyment! Always stick to the end sometimes Diana changes Andrews's mind! Can you say Plot twist? I also gave five stars 💫 to the Get Smart and Agent 99 of the podcast world.…Geek History Lesson’s Jason Inman and Victoria Robinson! From David Loves Comics!

MattilovestrumperGreat observations! A fun listenI give 5 stars to this podcast as a whole. I enjoy their show choices most of the time and it’s hard for me to find podcasts where the movies reviewed are ones I’ve seen or want to see. That said, I’d take one star away when there are a plethora of guests as it then seems like everyone is trying to overriff everyone else too often. :)

tmorin22Don’t always agree, but I’m always entertained! There’s been plenty of times where I HATED a movie they like or absolutely adored a movie they dunk on the entire episode. But Andrew and Diana are just so fun to listen to that it doesn’t matter! They clearly love what they’re doing and convey their opinions in such a way that’s both informative and interesting. I might not always agree with what they’re saying, but I am always entertained!

NerospidyNoiceDiana is amazing! She should do her batman voice more often, that was a fantastic bit. Andrew really knows his filmography Genius Podcast!

SpiderEmpressFun and EducationalThe first episode I listened to was Men In Black International. I liked the movie, but not as much as I thought I should and couldn’t figure out why. As Andrew and Diana explained how comedy does and doesn’t work it was an epiphany moment! Since then I’ve had a lot of fun listening while also learning more about story structure, comedy, all sorts of interesting things. Regarding episode 346: Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Rings the ‘breakdance’ wizard fight always reminds me of the movie ‘Willow’. Great movie, which includes a ‘breakdance’ fight between the evil queen and old woman sorceress, but also has the fireball and freeze ray powers!

goalkeeper290The Perfect Blend of HumorWere it not for Andrew gracing the Comedy in English team with his presence on the online version of our show, I never would have found this show. Honestly it’s become a MUST listen for me every Monday. Regardless of whether the project was a High Like to a Love, A “Not for Diana’s” or a Andrew “Mess” , the podcast is always a “Love” Keep it up you two and look forward to connecting in IRL very soon! - Michael Magid

HotFuzz87Fun for geeksEnjoying this podcast, great for dog walks and my long commute. My favorite aspect is how they strive to find some positive in everything. Some nerd/geek stuff is too critical, but this is a good listen.
-
TigerWayne54My favorite podcast!I listen to a lot of podcasts but this is by far my fave! It’s a cant-miss! Love every episode.
-
Kryptonian OrphanMy new faveNoice! Ran across your podcast looking for Army of the Dead episodes. So glad I did. Y’all are fantastic. Been telling all my Twitter and FB friends. Keep up the great work. 5 ⭐️

ObergonGreat show informational and funGreat show to listen to if you enjoy movies. The hosts do a great job breaking down the pros and cons of the movies from every angle, story, technical work, musically, and how accurate it is or isn’t to the source material (if any), and if the movie was enjoyable. It is a lot of fun to listen to and the hosts have a great back and forth that makes it feel like you are discussing movies with friends. Highly recommend.
-
RikAkeyMy go-to!Highly recommended! Part of the fun of watching a new piece of superhero TV or film is knowing I’ll get to listen to Andrew and Diana break it down for me the following week. They catch things I don’t, which further adds to my enjoyment upon a second watch (even if they hate it). They riff on silly stuff and give each other good-natured grief in a way that always makes me laugh.
-
seeme_23Awesome PodcastLove listening to these two just enjoying the Sam stuff that I enjoy.
-
Mathew PrimePure joy and appreciation of the medium! It is hip it isHappening I forget the other one. but more than that and genuinely and sincerely it is a wonderful sincere hysterical experience that I recommend to everyone.I appreciate the humor but I also appreciate their critical Eye & ear. I now pay much more attention to ADR for instance.
-

Chocolickity Yum YumSo relevant! So hip! So happening! The noicest, nerdiest plates o’ soup on the interwebs. Literally my favorite podcast!
-
lauramargerieNoiceI love this podcast. As I’m going through my MCU rewatch, it’s become a routine to listen to the TFS episode on the movie after I finish watching. It’s such fun and I honestly look forward to it every time. Even if I don’t like the movie, I know I’ll love the podcast episode!
-
ajvw13Loving the OGsFound IHBIL first, then VWR, and finally found time to listen to the OG From Superheroes podcast. Amazing. Love it and the fact that I have 300+ episodes to listen to before I have to pony up for Patreon (though the Witcher season 2 has me tempted already). Funny, wonderful critique for film buffs, and just a throughly good time.
-
bw2025If two plates of soup became two Canadian podcastersI’d give Andrew a high five. I’d shoot Diana some finger guns. They’re great!
-
Seth BecksonGreat podcastI listened to the titans episode a few months back, then bought the first 2 seasons on dvd, you two keep up the amazing work and inspiration!
-
HanJPriceGreat listenI really enjoy podcasts like this one and IHIBILI. There’s actually a few episodes where I haven’t seen the movie but I’d rather just listen to them talk about it instead 😂
-
TZRwandanFavorite movie review podcast EVER!!As soon as I finish a movie, I rush to this podcast to hear Andrew and Diana’s thoughts. Loved your review on Free Guy as I do for every movie. Keep it up!!
-
WineGuyMPRAwesome stuffAndrew and Diana are incredible every week. Easily the most relatable, comforting and fun podcast I listen to. Every Monday it is a treat to drive into work listening to these two. Like having a conversation with friends about movies you love or love to hate. Great job you guys!

DBsyrtGreat podcast!I started listening just to the reviews of movies/shows I loved but now listening to all of the shows because they are so entertaining!
-
RicardDPMGreat podcastNoice.

LD66My smart funny friends I don’t know.Listening to this feels just like talking with your friends after seeing a movie. Diana and Andrew are so hilarious and genuine. And they make really good observations about themes, character arcs etc. I routinely find myself saying “Oh yeah! I didn’t notice that!” It’s a must listen after new movies come out, and a treat when they talk about classics.
-
demonkitty666Chef’s KissI’m a leaning towards the right political individual, and I honestly don’t think that matters at all when it comes to the perfection that is your podcast. By far my favorite movie review podcast, listen religiously every Monday. What you two do is amazing!
-
ZachschechterLove this podcast!Truly I do!
-
LucksteramaNoice!Taught me about the dust bowl and zombie babies. Wins all around.

SsssassssPlease review episodes 6-8 of Invincible!I heard your episodes 1-5 review and I’m really interested in your reaction to the crazy ending. Please discuss it!
-
Manerva McG, aka PatrickObsessedI started with IHIBILI, moved to VWR, and finally found my way to Talk From Superheroes...all three podcasts sate my hunger for all things “nerdy” and pop culture. Andrew has the voice of a God and Diana has a passion that rivals my own...and they are hilarious. I even listened to the episodes about things I haven’t seen because I just love them!
-
ReCondiTiOneDGarbageThese two are pieces of human trash, are not engaging, biased, and annoying. Keep your politics out movie reviews. Just plain bad.
-
HallieProwlI wanted to like this so bad.I really wanted to like this show, but they lost me when they started talking trash about Jupiter’s Legacy and the Great Depression. Btw, Kansas did literally become a desert in the 1930’s and the crops did literally turn to dust. It was called the dust bowl and the depiction was pretty historically accurate.
-
delisa52Entertaining and comfortingI love this podcast, light listening when other podcasts feel too heavy to listen to. Also, you two have great “what would you change” ideas. Thanks Diana and Andrew.
-
Rinzler_Invincible isn’t a “Superman gone bad” storyOmni-man leaves Earth issue 11. This story’s premise isn’t “what happens when Superman is bad” —you have no idea what this story is lol. The comic is called Invincible not Omni-Man. Nothing, in any media, is like Invincible. C’mon guys you’re Superhero show, do a lil bit of homework— you’re telling an audience False Facts about a story 🤦🏽♂️
-
QueenTFSisFun and funnyAndrew and Diana are knowledgeable, warm, and funny— well done!

One0f'aKindSo goodHilarious and smart, Diana is the cutest. Wonderful way to spend an hour a week.
-
Ace ElmsBest podcast in the verseI’ve got to say this is one of the most fun podcasts I’ve ever listened to - to the point I actually look forward to Monday’s when a new episode drops. Andrew and Diana have great chemistry together and can handle both a technical analysis of a movie and riff on some of the bonkers choices it makes. The best compliment I can give is that I love most episodes, even if it’s a movie I have no interest in seeing. The only real knock I have on it is that I feel sorry for Andrew since I assume that Diana makes him do laundry like Chris O’Donnell in Batman Forever
-
PDXRedcoatFun and enjoyable geeking outCame for the Dredd episode (one of my favourite movies), loved the show so much I stuck around and subscribed!
-
lilyRmat100/10I just wanna be a plate of soup... truly such an amazing podcast, I spend hours laughing and listening. My Mondays are always brighter when the new episode drops. Thank you Andrew and Diana!!
