Indie game podcast for people who are kinda meh on indie games
I was excited about this podcast because I wanted to learn more about indie games and hear the hosts’ opinions on the games I’ve played, but after listening to an episode or two, I learned they did not like Firewatch or Undertale. I’m open to listening to critiques of games I like. Their problems with Oxenfree were totally fair. But, I dunno, Firewatch and Undertale are the Ur-Indie Games. If you don’t like those, maybe you just don’t like indie games?

    Excellent indie review show
Great synergy between the presenters. I like that they are very positive despite obviously playing a lot of games...not the jaded gamer podcasters that are so common. Great format and fills a niche that other podcasts don't reach. Love it. Such a relief to have a podcast that jumps right in to the reviews, no 10 minute preamble and no meandering outtro. It's all essential listening. I keep back episodes on file and refer during steam sales. Handy! Edit: A real shame this show ended. It was the one show on Duckfeed that didn't require a wide knowledge of gaming in order to understand the content. Be great if it started up again.

    Good format
Introduces me to stuff I’ve either heard of, or just never thought to try. Also good for vicariously experiencing games I’ll never have time to play. Keep up the good work guys.

    Great indie games podcast!
At first I just listened to this podcast if the episode was about one or more games that I already knew about. However, after a while, I started listening to episodes for games I had never heard of, too- and not only has it been entertaining, it's gotten me interested in a handful of games I never would have played otherwise! I've bought four or five games so far based purely on what I heard on Check It Out, Comrade. My only issue- and unfortunately it's a big one- is that (as of August 2016) nearly every episode is plagued by tiny little "pops" and "cracks" in the audio, meaning that if you listen to it with headphones (which I do) it can be a bit painful. Keep up the good work!

Great Intro to Wide Variety of Indie Games
Nick and Gary do a great job introducing a fairly wide variety of cool indie games. They have great chemistry and keep it fun to listen to. Check it out, comrade!

    Ever.

    Great podcast
I'm not much of an indie gamer, so living vicariously through Gary and Nick is great. I started with the Binding of Isaac:Rebirth episode and went back and listened to all of them from the start. Highly recommended!

    My guide to new buys
I don't spend time on gaming message boards or pay attention to new releases or sales, so this podcast keeps me in the loop about what new games are fun. I've bought several games based on Gary and Nick's recommendations, and I haven't regretted a single one. They give a fair assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the games, and even give attention to games still in early access, with recommendations on how they could be improved. Plus, they're hilarious.

    Indie games mostly rule.
Gary and Nick do a great job of reviewing the indie games you should play, so you don't waste money on the massive quantities of garbage on Steam these days. Bubsy3D and Horse Master changed my life.

    Indie Game Buying Guide
I listen to what these dudes have to say before I even as much as look at an indie game ;) Great program.

Thoughful, quick information on Indie Games
Saves me a ton of time and money with all the indiegames constantly coming out. They don't necessarily review as much as they explain the game and tell you some things you might like or dislike.

Bringing direction in a sea of of the unknown
There are so many Indy Games out there that is can be impossible sometimes to distinguish the difference between what is and is not worth playing. I find my taste and opinions to coincide pretty closely to those of Gary and Nick so this podcast is a huge help in determining where I should spend my small pool of expendible cash. Informative, Concise and fun. Excellent podcast all around

    Great resource for indie recommendations
Nick and Gary give you their impressions of every indie game ever made, two at a time, once every two weeks. They're starting by talking about the ones that are good, or at least have something intersting and unique about them. Around about 2470 AD they should run out of good ones and start covering bad ones. That'll be fun too.

    I like this podcast.
I like hearing about games I've never heard of, especially when it's paired with jokes and insightful commentary. The podcast is really like two friends telling you to check out this cool game they found. 10/10 would podcast again.

    Great podcast
Such a great podcast almost every game discussed I have either bought or added to my wish list.

A terrific revival of Soviet gaming values
It's about time someone supported Marxism through gaming reviews. Capitalist pigs continue to force Contras and Warcraft down the people's throats, but this fine podcast is a strong socialist gag reflex for us all.

    Really fun, very good
Check It Out, Comrade! is really fun and it's very good! The hosts (who are Nick and Gary) are real fun and they talk about very good stuff. We all learned a lot when we all listened (a lot about indie video games) and we talked about it and I'm writing the review for us to say that I think that you'll think this show is very good and that if you listen you're in for some real fun. Great positive talkers on this fun very good show, really! Some of us most of all really like how these guys enjoy video games, but are not themselves video games. That's a big part of the fun. It's very good to hear two people chat about computer (mostly) games the exactly right way to make it a lot of fun to hear. For real though, it's a good way to get sometimes very excited about a game! I want to try every game they two both talk about on this show, Check It Out, Comrade! It's that much (real) fun! And I think, very good too. Do you think that? Think that! It's really fun to listen every week, just some very good stuff. 5/5 10/10.

    Yeah! I like this show.
    Yup good stuff.

    Compact reviews of games.
Nick and Gary talk about a wide variety of video games, but only ones that are worth checking out. (comrade). Anyway, it's a fun, positive experience... As playing the games they recommend will be.

    Great Concierge for Indie Games
LOVE the concept for this show! It's a great way to get a feel for the new and interesting stuff happening in the indie scene, especially if you don't have time to play them all yourself.
