    Please increase the output audio
Hey there- Public Transit user here. I love the show. I love all of sans pants’ shows. Yours is the only show that the output audio Is too low. This makes it impossible to hear when the train is starting or stopping as it is too quiet to hear over the screeching sounds of metal on metal. I’m sure Angus is too cool to care about the enjoyment of train listeners but figured asking is worth a shot. Since he hates guests and will probably say only pay fam is perfectly suitable for trains. Would love for this to be corrected as all of my podcasts are consumed on the public transit. With love from New York. Ron

    Friendly Banter and Inside Jokes
During the pandemic, do you miss hanging out with your friends, talking about subjects and establishing and saying inside jokes? This podcast is a great substitution for all of that and a good reminder that we’re all in a community (or a society) together.

    Better than the lion king
Great podcast, I genuinely listened to the lion king review while I watched the live action remake because the movie is so boring

    Love the show BUT
I’ve been listening since BvS commentary and I love it but the most recent episode... why put Last of Us in the title and then go sorry it’s in the second episode behind the paywall. I’m not attacking anyone, and I love the show but that doesn’t seem quiet right

    Podcasting kings
The Hey Fam bois are absolute Kings. I mow lawns every week and listen to the podcasts. I hit a deer while listening to them on the way back from college this year. Angus and Levins are always entertaining and have amazing content. I would recommend it to anyone that is a fan of movies, games, and anime. Much love for the boys at Hey Fam. -Zach from Kansas

Too strong an emphasis on patreon
Honestly this podcast is pretty good. The hosts are charming and clever and it’s a good time, till content is cut short and hidden behind a pay wall. Which if you’re ok with by all means, it’s typically very funny and would be one of my favorite podcasts. I just don’t really value anyone’s opinion as being worth a monthly fee and the emphasis of placed on Pay Fam does seem a bit overzealous.

    More like hey scam
Listen to them bs about nonsense for about 45 min then start 10 min of the review to cut it short and make you pay for the actual review on their patreon, waste of time

Mostly fine, with half episodes sometimes
Like the podcast, but the idea to split the episode to "encourage" listeners to support them is upsetting. Why not make the whole episode patreon only. Instead you listen to half a review/conversation.

Stop producing half of a product.
The podcast is fine but the continuous plugs for “Pay Fam” have gotten ridiculous. The idea that a podcaster would start talking about a subject and then stop halfway through for the sole purpose of putting the other half of the conversation behind a paywall is insulting and shows that you lack the creativity to produce the quantity of 2 extra episodes a month so you chose to reduce the quality of your material. Please do not support their “Pay Fam” scheme because they don’t deserve it.

If you want to listen to the most rapidly changing and wildly loose podcast you’re in for a treat. It’s absolutely great. The only criticism I have is that Kanye still hasn’t made an appearance.

    A fall from grace
This was the first podcast I listened to from the beginning after the Weekly Planet, which is a far better podcast. The first episodes of Hey Fam were a breath of fresh air. Their banter was hilarious and natural, and sometimes a little drunk. Over time, however, they lost that humor. Their blatant political views really detract from the fun of their pop culture podcast, and if you don’t agree with them, then you’re the problem, not them. They used to joke about starting a Patreon and become “those” podcasters, but now they rely on it so much that their literally restricting half their library behind a $5 barrier per month. It’s a real shame to see it, and as a former fan, I am utterly disappointed.

First there was the weekly planet...
After listening to The Weekly Planet, another stellar podcast from the planet broadcasting network, and hearing Hey Fam! mentioned, I decided to give Hey Fam! a test run with episode 150 (hey fam on ice). Expecting this podcast to follow any sort of formula would be an undercut to Angus and Andrew's ability to make an oversaturated market feel fresh and original. Their wealth of knowledge on Movies, TV, Games, Music, and Kevin Smith's wife's taint is a testament to their chemistry. This show isn't like any other, which is what makes the show so fresh, funny, and unique, but can also be frustrating to listeners who want a serious take or a serious review of a movie or video game. Another thing to note is that recently the episodes in the feed appear out of order (171, 173, 175) and that's due to half of the episodes being made exclusively for their patreon feed. However, these minor details don't distract from that fact that this show is easily one of the best in the planet broadcasting group and one of the best niche pop-culture podcasts on the internet.

    Review s be good
Kevin Smith has a heart attack, and a fire alarm goes off. Uh-mazing.

    Good and funny
    Funny. Oh and good.

    Hey, listen!
Levins and Angus are just funny, just charmingly funny. They're insightful and they're definitely passionate about the stuff they talk about. Good job.

    Hilariously Unfunny
Every planet broadcasting pod is funny and unique in its own way. Accept for this one, commentary is dry and so flat. The bias is apparent and cringe. Turn back now before you waste any time dumbing yourself down by exposing yourself to this radioactive garbage. (Edit: I tried listening again, EVEN WORSE)

    Awesome!
You guys are great! Very funny!
  • CCDude1554
    Unremarkable
They cover all topics of “pop culture” but in such a meaningless and pedantic way. Pick a topic and focus on that and maybe I’ll give it another try. Even Kevin Smith’s endorsement can’t save this one.

    Weekly planet rip off
It’s like cheap copy of the weekly planet except anyone who doesn’t like media they like is an “incel” or an mra. 👎

Another great show from Plant B-Casting
Fun and nerdy. If you like The Weekly Planet, you won't hate this.

    Another 5 star planet broadcasting
What more can I say. These guys have great chemistry and fresh takes

    Funny and friendly banter
If you want a podcast that names 96 episodes after Entourage episode titles then 10 episodes after a kevin smith tweet this is for you. Hear these two friends talk about movies, games, tv shows all while calling their friend an egg.

    Great
Great guys love them even if they bash on D.C.

    Really funny podcast!
Checked these guys out after hearing them get plugged on a couple other podcasts and I'm glad I did! These guys are absolutely hilarious and extremely entertaining! They talk about about movies, shows, comics and games etc. and are very considerate to listeners by not throwing out any major spoilers for the stuff they talk about. I recommend this to any fan of anything!
