The UnReal After Show recaps, reviews and discusses episodes of Lifetimes's UnReal.Show Summary: Reality shows are often full of drama, but in the case of dating show "Everlasting," there may be more drama behind the scenes than there is in front of the camera. Executive producer Quinn commands her staff to get dramatic and outrageous footage for the show, which forces young producer Rachel to manipulate the relationships among the contestants to get the show's final cut to match Quinn's vision of it. As the show's featured singles look for their dream mates, staff members deal with their own romantic predicaments behind the scenes.

    Painful to listen to...
Listened to Season 3 episode 3 recap and I couldn’t stop myself from gagging. Really painful to hear how they gave credit to the Unreal writers for “predicting” police violence against black folks. Umm hello... that’s been happening for years. And also they make it seem like they were ahead of the “me too” movement. Are you kidding me? This show needs a serious reality check. Please know about the issue if you’re going to bring it up.

I want to like this podcast
I've been looking for a podcast that discusses this amazing/awful show and was happy to find this. However, the girls are so silly and giggly and they talk over each other, it's hard to get through an episode. And their observations are SO obvious. I agree with another reviewer that they completely miss the real dynamic between Rachel and her mother which was covered in season 1. It sounds like they've lined up some fabulous guests for other episodes down the road, so I'm going to try to stick with it and hope that they calm down a bit, so it's not just squealing giggles.

    Not your usual afterbuzz show
I love Afterbuzz. These girls find themselves so funny they can't stop laughing at their own jokes. It's good to have fun but it's only the second episode and it's starting to grate my nerves. Add to that they think they're mental health experts. Rachel's mother is unethically treating her family members for mental illnesses that only she can see. That makes her the crazy one, not necessarily Rachel. Rachel has problems but she doesn't necessarily have the ones her mother says she has. That was made plain in the Mother episode of season 1. This may be the only Afterbuzz show I don't give 5 stars to.
