Great entertaining podcast for the duo but add in Chris the producer from ufc unfiltered and this podcast deserves 6 star rating if possible

This is an excellent podcast. I found it because of Chuck. He was very good in The MMA beat. Only thing that can make it better is if the episodes were a bit longer. 40 mins for a podcast is too short.

I was a huge fan of Shaun and Marc ramondis MMA fighting live chat and also of Chucks during the mma beat days.. I absolutely love that you guys are paired together! You guys have been my favorite mma journalists for some time now because of your laid back approach! Honestly it’s so obvious how much you both love the sport and it makes listening to this podcast so much fun!

I discovered Man and the Mith after subscribing to The Athletic. It’s become a weekly routine listening to the guys. Excellent insight and a lot of great humor as well. Keep up the great work gents!

Yo I am incredibly grateful and happy that this podcast is free. As a college student funds are tight. Both of these dudes are at the top of my favorite mma journalists. This podcast is funny, thoughtful and insightful. The man in the hat is literally hilarious. He makes me laugh out loud numerous times per episode. He is also even-tempered and reasonable. He doesn’t build straw man arguments like many MMA media members do. I appreciate this podcast. Thank you very much.

I listen to several MMA podcasts each week but the Man and the MITH is always my first listen. Love these guys and how they break down fight news and events!

I remember first time seeing Chuck (and Jeff) on MMA Beat and thinking - MMA needs more old men talking about this sport. Been a fan ever since.

I subscribed to the Athletic in order to follow great writer like Shaheen and Chuck. The podcast is solid and they provide some interesting perspectives each week. Also, big shout out to their producer who adds some real value when he chimes in.

I love this podcast! Shaheen and Chuck are so knowledgeable and entertaining without falling into the drama/hype that some other MMA shows do. I eagerly await new episodes every Monday and Wednesday. My only criticism is I feel like the guys (and producer Chris) agree too much. I particularly noticed it during their year-end wrap up and 2020 prediction shows. I’d love for one of them to play devil’s advocate or go head-to-head more often. Keep up the great work guys!

Two of the best and most likable writers in the sport have great discussions about MMA twice a week. One of my favorite podcasts.

Shaun and chuck have been two of the best writers MMA has seen over the years. They are well informed and articulate their opinions well. The podcast is structured well and releases multiple episodes a week. Great pod.

Man is nice to hear familiar Voices that are no longer behind a paywall. The pairing couldn’t be better with “The Man in the Hat” Chuck Mindenhall and Shaun Al-Shatti giving sound weekly updates of the latest news in MMA. The current landscape of Journalist/Reporters/Podcasters has been going downhill over the past several months with many Voices that have platforms that seem to be casual MMA fans instead of a Professional First and Fan second. With the scarcity of good MMA programs, “The Man and the Mith” is a breath of fresh air for fans seeking a free MMA podcast with well spoken and educated hosts. I have followed their work for a long time and I must say, they are at the top of their class with the likes of Luke Thomas, Ariel Helwani and Marc Raimondi. Thank you gentlemen for offering this up for free and hear some great and familiar voices.

Two of the best minds in the sport and two real hidden gems I’ve been a huge fan for a very long time.

When my wife left me and took the kids, my life was turned upside down. Lights seemed dimmer, Food tasted like gruel, and every day seemed like a worsening joke. After the divorce left me bankrupt, and I was forced to sell all my furniture, I remember sitting on the floor alone in my empty apartment and wondering what I would do. That’s where this podcast came in. When I listen to this, I’m no longer alone. I’m with Chuck and Shaun. Their dulcet tones crash through the booming silence, and for that brief episode, I’m wrapped up in a warm blanket of friendship. Their knowledge of MMA offered up with witty banter makes the cold, dark nights more bearable. Thanks guys. Thank you for giving me what Karen never could. Companionship.
