I rely on podcasts and YouTube for analysis like Mike’s. Absolutely essential. We cannot be afraid to speak out and take to the streets and organize protests. I refuse to self-censor. As a teacher, I refuse to whitewash US history or to both sides the illegal actions of the MAGA regime. I need these podcasts to know what is going on day to day. We must speak out with our voices, our bodies, and perhaps even our freedom and our lives. We need to do this for our children and their children. We need to go to DC AND OCCUPY IT until we bring the regime down. We’re not waiting for 2026 or 2028.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a podcast that calls out everyone based on their actions and not their shameless words or party affiliation. Though words do matter now that fascism is taking over. Thanks Mike!

Initially discovered the podcast looking for secular content that employed a Humanism outlook. The name is misleading to say the least. While at times, Figureedo and I share some points of views and concern, his content is for the majority emotional and reactionary. He's a mainstream (self-described) ‘leftist’ that supports establishment candidates and political/social policies. He’s over the top in regard to his coverage of identity politics and the culture war, of which get his audience’s emotional outrage boiling for views, but has no real intellectual analysis of economic class policies or historical relevance. It's essentially CNN for a younger and hipper crowd, whom wants to be seen as politically engaged without making any significant or discernible change to the political and social system. Too much whining and outrage. Not enough intellect, wit, and critical analysis.

The perspective of this show is much more progressive leftism, not humanism. Disappointing.

By far, one of the easiest political commentary podcast to digest. I truly appreciate the straightforward approach and tone; this is fair and balanced executed perfectly. It’s easy to follow, understand, and breaks down a lot of the nonsense of this current political climate we’re in. As a Black queer woman, it is refreshing to listen to someone speak so logically on everything happening. Thank you. Please keep up the great work.

Listened to the pod for a while and think it’s great. Good insight into all the important topics of today with a solid progressive perspective. Genuine person, which is appreciated as well.

Really was hoping to like this podcast but found it naive and lacking in empathy from the episode I listened to (240 I think) will try listening to another episode in case what I experienced was unrepresentative

The show is great. It’d be five stars is he didn’t go off on emotional somewhat personal attacks in the middle of magnificently producing facts details and wonderful thoughts on such.

Mike is great and gives insightful commentary on media, politics, and cultural issues of the day. He is a positive part of what independent media can be and why it is so important these days. Anyone with half a brain can see the downward trend in standard of living for working class people, something Mike gets, unlike the corp media.

Of all my podcasts, I get the greatest sense I'm listening to someone's everyday personality when I listen to Mike. Great show, great guests, including the recently interviewed Arizona woman running in my district. Keep up the fight, keep up the colorful language. Bernie 2020.

I love that people call him a Bernie Apologist. Apologies for what? I think they don’t like that Mike calls out the establishment in the Democratic Party. I sure do. Keep it up Mike. Keep fighting for what’s right and calling it like it is.

This show should be called the Bernie Report. There is no “humanist lens” with which the host approaches the topics, but rather the host spends the entire duration spouting Bernie apologetics. If you want news from a humanist perspective, go somewhere else.

No attempt to challenge what has become orthodoxy in progressive circles l agree with most of the domestic program presented here but there are no new insights and the foreign policy has no thought behind it

This isn’t a progressive podcast. This is a Bernie bro party for all the triggered people who want to tear it all down.

You don't need to be a progressive to like this podcast but only a humane human!

The only negative thing I can say about the Humanist Report is that it comes but once a week. Mike is very well-informed and effectively presents progressive arguments to the topics of the day. The podcast can really be an eye-opener. Give it a listen.

Facts. Passion. Analysis.

This is an okay podcast with some pros and cons. The host makes some good points and provides sources for his information. He is, however, very arrogant in my opinion. He seems to think that if you don't see everything HIS way, then you're stupid. So all in all, this podcast is...meh.

I listen to dozens of alternative and progressive podcasts and Intercepted and THR are by far my favorites! Thank you Mike, love from NYC.

Mike offers a voice of well reasoned passion in a dangerous time. He gives me hope that a voice of truth can make an impact. I know this is free to the world, but I have chosen to be a patron of the show because I believe so strongly in the value of its message.

Mike is articulate and informed and speaks very eloquently about the issues plaguing our political system and beyond! He's a progressive and also a realist and its great to see more independent media spreading the revolutionary message.
