    Must Watch/Listen
As a Star Wars fan, this crew is my favorite to watch & listen. I highly reccomend going back and checking out their in-depth reviews of Andor Season 1 before season 2 starts next month, it's fantastic content!

    Something is just off…
I have been listening to and enjoying many Star Wars podcasts so when this one popped up on my screen I gave it a try. Unfortunately it’s hard to listen to, and the hosts are just too plastic for me. Sounds like a Saturday Night Live spoof of a pop radio morning show. For example, conversations speculating about an upcoming Star Wars show were: Host 1: What if blah blah blah? Both: HAHAHAHAHAHA! Host 2: No wait, what if blah blah blah? Both: HAHAHAHAHAHA!! Host 1: Ohmygod but what if blah blah blah? Both: HAHAHAHAHAHHA!!! And so it went, for a really long time. And it wasn’t funny.

Less Political Opinion, More Star Wars, Please
I came for the Andor; I left because of the Rachel Maddow-esque political opinion.
  • Player1307
    Insufferable
Hosts are more interested in litigating their social media fights than talking Star Wars. Constantly walking on eggshells instead of talking like real human beings.
  • orbis0non0sufficit7
Friendly Force, Sugar Coated Star Wars
A positivity that frequently brushes up against disingenuous and saccharine. Though I would rather have that than the alternative that seems to be the prevalent voice of the online community.

    4 minutes of ads?!
Great podcast, but 4 minutes of ads at the beginning of the episode?! Unsubscribed.

    Liberal Garbage.
Don’t tell us what to think or what to like.

    Forcecenter Review
I have listened to ForceCenter for many years but their recent coverage of Star Wars The Acolyte has been rather odious. The show has serious flaws from blatantly bad acting, writing, continuity errors to showcasing murdering twins whom the show wants you to sympathize with. Try and show them as misunderstood and even justified in their killing of others. Indeed, giving one of the murdering twins a heroic ending complete with falling in love with another evil person and hold hands while watching the sun set. Not to mention the treatment of the Jedi in the show which shows them in the worst light possible. That’s the whole point of the show you see, that the traditional good guys aren’t so good while evil ones may be justified in their actions. All this in a Star Wars show? So how does ForceCenter react to all the criticism of the show, by barely acknowledging any of it and instead constantly praising Lucasfilm but especially the show creator Leslye Headland. Using phrases such as LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT to EVERYTHING THEY DID WAS JUST SO WONDERFUL. All three hosts have devolved into constantly being apologists for Leslye Headland, trying to explain away any and all criticism fans have while simultaneously acting like fans are being mean or over critical. Maybe will listen again when they adopt a more honest and open discussion of Star Wars instead of nauseating pandering to Hollywood producers and large media corporations.

The best themes discussions in the business !
I’ve been listening to your show since 2018 and I’m sorry I didn’t write a review before now. Your consistently great analyses of the themes and “emotional canon” are always so insightful…Inspiring actually. I find them helpful with almost every aspect of being a human. They make Star Wars even better for me than it already was. Thank you for all that you do. It is appreciated and you are appreciated.

Echo Base, this is Rogue Two
I’ve found them! Repeat: I’ve found them! A wonderful blend of news, comedy, and deeper discussions about the Star Wars universe. ForceCenter revels in the romance and absurdity of Star Wars like no other podcast out there. If you’re looking for people who sincerely love Star Wars as much as you do, then this is the place you want to be

Depressing gen Xers complain about babies and being old
I used to love this show for the positive and insightful analysis of Star Wars, though I would have to fast forward through Landa complaining about her kids because it was just too constant and cringy and sad. Now that the strike is over I thought “great, now they can go back to the good stuff instead of the 40+ year olds crying about getting old and their depressing non-existent Hollywood ‘careers’ and hokey musical taste.” Turns out THAT part is here to stay, and the SW discussions are an afterthought. Avoid.

    Great Hosts and Great Conversations
Not only a great Star Wars podcast but a great podcast about life in general! The topics covered throughout this “Othercenter” era have been a ton of fun and also very deep at times. I really look forward to its inclusion going forward with the strikes ended and Star Wars conversations presumably coming back. Keep doing your thing Ken, Jennifer, and Joseph!

    NUMBER. ONE. PODCAST. PERIOD.
Been following Ken for years and years and years, whether it be his reign in the Schmoedown or THE NEWZZZZ. Love that his passion never dies. And of course Joseph Scrimshaw is pure delight as well. Haven’t followed him as long, but the two of them are just about as perfect a duo as there can possibly be. No one spends two hours analyzing every detail of an episode of Star Wars like these two can.
  • MaroonMan13
    “OtherCenter” is totally wizard
My favorite podcast. Whether it be digging deep into the themes of that galaxy far away or digging into the lives and experiences of the three talented and inspirational hosts, you will not be disappointed. I’ve listened to every episode for about 8 years and it is the constant that is playing whenever I am in my car.
  • Pdpilot
Much more than just a Star Wars podcast!
ForceCenter, and most recently the variant of the podcast known as OtherCenter, is one of my favorite sources of thoughtful, balanced, and lively discussion of many topics that are near and dear to my heart. Joseph, Ken and Jennifer are wonderful hosts who are able to have meaningful and entertaining conversations about pretty much anything. While I initially subscribed for their excellent episodes focused almost entirely on the stories, characters, and themes of THAT galaxy far, far away, I have remained an avid listener as they have dealt with the combined writers’ and actors’ strikes of 2023 and have chosen to speak about anything OTHER than those subjects. Regardless of the subject, they always deliver excellent and thought-provoking content. They are wonderfully positive, choosing not to bash or ignore things they don’t necessarily agree with but to acknowledge and speak about those things in such a way that they can foster respectful conversations about sometimes controversial subjects. This is an excellent podcast for anyone interested in listening to informed and thorough conversations about a wide variety of topical subjects. In short, come for the FORCE but stay for the OTHER. You won’t be disappointed and you’ll likely find yourself like me having a deeper appreciation of many things that you love.
  • Stevil128
My favorite source for Star Wars and now, OTHER!
Love the optimistic, fun perspective Ken, Joseph and Jennifer provide. Whether it’d be about themes and deeper meanings in our favorite galaxy of heroes, or day day stuff like travel and ice cream, I always get excited when a new episode pops up on my notifications.

    Love it but something’s missing
This is a great star wars podcast with lots of fun content and good information but a while ago they did an amazing sub series called databank brawl that you should totally listen to anyway they don’t do it anymore witch is a real letdown but that’s all I have to say about it definitely something worth listening to
  • MikeFrom5_to_7
Not even talking about Star Wars anymore
You’re a SW pod. It’s not your job to strike with the WGA and SAG. Talk about Star Wars or change the name.
  • shuldawg
Excellent, informative and POSITIVE Star Wars podcast
I really appreciate how Jennifer, Joseph and ken, create a great environment to talk and learn about Star Wars. They prepare read shows, truly listen to people with their ideas, and, taking all perspectives that people may have. But most importantly, keep it positive and enjoyable. I do love how they discuss how Star Wars finds them and the listeners in their every day life. Worth a listen and follow!

The Best Star Wars Podcast, wish I had known about it years ago
I LOVE this podcast and the crew of Ken, Joseph, and Jennifer are the best people… I like to listen to people who I like as human beings and these three are awesome humans. This is the place for engaging, thoughtful, and positive conversations about Star Wars. I can’t abide the negativity that is so pervasive in today’s media landscape… these folks are not about any of that. They have old school broadcasting chops with modern sensibilities. This podcast is good for my mental health. I’m so grateful for these people having created this show. In these times of the artists strike, I deeply respect and appreciate the solidarity with the creative community and the temporary change to topics that does not involve struck content. It turns out it definitely is the PEOPLE that make this podcast so special, I will listen to them talk about anything at all.

Just the best Star Wars podcast out there
I’ve been a listener of Star Wars podcasts for almost 10 years now. This is my favorite one. Ken and Joseph cover this saga in a beautiful way. They help me to see things I wouldn’t see myself. Highly recommend.

    Masterclass
For all those who call themselves podcasters or even let themselves talk about shows, please just give one episode of this show a listen and learn how the job is done. The deep dive analysis, the different point of views not a wikipedia shallow summary or repeating the so called easter eggs. Kudos and please keep up the good work. I can’t get enough of listening and learning from you. 🙏🏼🩶

    Just discovered them for myself.
First and foremost I will say it takes a long time for me to be comfortable starting to listen or watch new things that discuss something I love. That being said these people are fantastic and for me their podcast was super easy to get into. I decided to check this podcast out after being mentioned on another Star Wars podcast. I love the analytical background at scenes of whatever show they discuss. The themes they discuss. The news they report on. They are super well spoken and make it easy to understand things on a deeper level. I think that is due, in part, to being writers, giving them a unique lens to view things in and then they share it as such. So good and you won’t be disappointed by this podcast.
  • master_plo
    Love the show, but…
Love the show, and been a big fan for a few years now. Makes my commute much more tolerable! My only feedback recently is that literally every episode turns into a vent session about Star Wars discourse and negativity. I think in your efforts to stay positive, you’re actually really dwelling on the negative lately. Would love to see the focus of the show shift back to just talking about actual Star Wars, and not so much dwelling on other people’s discourse. Just some friendly feedback! Keep up the good stuff.
  • Heguiluz
Love the tone and content of the podcast
I love the work that Jennifer, Joseph and Ken do with every episode. They are honest about their feelings about books, news, episodes and movies. They love Star Wars and approach it with an open mind and a smile. Their approach to the themes of Star Wars always makes me think. I learn a lot from every episode.
  • wavefoley
    Wise and wonderful..
Been a fan since the start of the sequel era. There’s a magnificent balance humor, knowledge, and themes discussion. In a pop culture sphere dominated by “hot takes” and “rankings,” this crew challenges you to dig deep and see the real heart of the matter in the stories we love… Thanks for everything team🙏🏻
  • Befuddled78
    Great stuff!
Just discovered this podcast over the holidays. Catching up on all the episodes and appreciate your love for the films / series on Disney plus and vintage figures! Thanks for making my nights bearable!

    No bad words
Thank goodness I love this.yay no bad words thank you
  • Chicago Jedi
    Good show, no criticism
These guys know their Star Wars and are funny, friendly people, but I can’t take the dishonesty of loving everything Star Wars anymore. When something is bad they won’t say so. They’ll just paint over the criticism with the “I guess it’s just not for me” statement. I have to tap out. I want honesty so I’ll get it somewhere else. The final straw was yet another discussion of representation. It’s a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. There’s different color aliens everywhere. Can we leave real world politics behind?
  • YmereJ75
    No surprises here
I’ve got nothing but love for these guys, but if you were looking for any kind of critique or analysis of Star Wars content, this won’t be for you. They either love, or have convinced themselves that they love everything that comes out of Lucasfilm. and I understand it. In the content game, your currency is access. If you give anything less than glowing praise, you lose your potential connections for screening invites, screeners, and access to stars/creators. They will feign criticism by saying that they did not like something on first viewing, but guess what - they watched it again the next day and now love it. I like that they don’t just dunk on things we all know are bad, but the lack of honesty is almost as bad. But, then again, in 50 years we will all be dead, so none of this really matters.

Excuse me while I nerd out 😁
ETA: Today’s discussion about Grogu, Ziggy & Garfield… I had to hit pause several times because I was giggling too hard to hear you guys. 😂 I found this podcast from Star Wars Explained, and I am hooked. Hours-long discussions and deep dives on all things in my favorite galaxy? Yes please! I enjoy the positive perspective and the way they analyze each property like literature. If you love ALL things SW, you should take a lot away from this podcast.

    More Databank Dives Please!!!
They ForceCenter crew has some great radio voices. I feel like I’m listening to a serious podcast about politics or business or something but nope it’s just a deep dive on Bor Gullet! Thank you so much for lending your talents to the Star Wars fan community. It’s better for it! You are so quick to put up quality episodes after the latest TV drops and I’ve been absolutely loving the Databank Dive series. Keep it up!
  • SowingShade
A haven for every kind of Star Wars fan.
The ForceCenter podcast feed is a joyous, insightful, and often playful celebration of all things Star Wars. Ken Napzok, Joseph Scrimshaw, and Jennifer Landa are genuine sparks of thoughtful positivity in a time where insincerity and/or cynicism reign supreme. From deep discussions on themes to light-hearted examinations of sentient, walking batteries, and everything in between, ForceCenter has you covered. If you love what Star Wars is ABOUT, and love it for what it IS (rather than bemoan what it isn’t), then you’re in the right place. The light side of the Force is strong here - just let it in.

The best people to talk Star Wars themes and to listen to their love of Star Wars!

    Go to Star Wars podcast
They’re really positive and know when something wasn’t meant for them (I.e. not target audience). If they don’t like something they still put a good spin on it. Voices are really calming making for a good podcast to put on in the background.
  • Shintenkensei
    Joyful, deep, and insightful.
This podcast celebrates all of what makes Star Wars a generational phenomenon. You will learn things, you will laugh, and you will re-examine things you felt didn’t work for you and may come out with a new perspective.

    Top Show
Best Star Wars podcast currently in our galaxy. Jennifer, Joseph, and Ken - these folks are pros, with insightful analysis, and thoughtful opinions. Always positive, but they will tell you what does not work for them. It’s Star Wars, let’s have fun out there!

    Lightsaber battle breakdowns 10/10
Absolutely been loving the breakdowns of all the different duels, great content as im just recently getting deep back into star wars fandom and you guys have been leading it for me…the duels throughout the different movies are awesome and all so different in their own ways, especially the phantom menace one where you guys went in depth abt the initial Maul meeting on Tatooine and the actual showdown on Naboo. Love the podcast guys with much love -Joel

    Fantastic!!!
This is a great podcast about what we all love - Star Wars!!! Well-researched and mindful, Joseph, Ken and Jennifer all bring an enthusiasm to celebrate all things Star Wars. There is good variety between episodes - some are episode reviewed, some deep dives and my favorites, the listener Q&A. LOVE this show! It’s so wizard!!!
  • Fuddlecup
Best Star Wars Discourse on the Internet
ForceCenter Podcast truly has the best Star Wars discourse on the internet. Joseph, Ken, and sometimes Jennifer, bring a thoughtful approach that looks at themes, connections, moments of whimsey and action, and their passion for the stories shines through in each episode. I particularly enjoy their break downs of the animated shows, giving each small adventure the time and care they would devote to a big movie release.

    Best Star Wars Podcast
I absolutely love this podcast. This is the best podcast for in-depth discussions on everything Star Wars. I love the positivity and enthusiasm the hosts have for the franchise. Joseph, Ken, and Jennifer give insightful commentary on various Star Wars topics. I highly recommend giving this podcast a listen.

    Excellent Podcast
I just discovered this podcast a couple of months ago and am hooked. The hosts of this show are not afraid to dive deep into Star Wars lore. Conversations can get philosophical. My favorite episodes involve detailed analysis of individual scenes and characters from Star Wars movies. The hosts are humorous and present open minded perspectives. You won’t hear them engage in the hateful bashing that has become common in much of the Star Wars online community. I admire their positivity. This is hands down the best Star Wars podcast
  • Moyboy44
Positive Star Wars talk that is so refreshing!
Love the podcast! Recently discovered it while looking for a Boba Fett review. I initially was down on Book of Boba mainly do to the talk on Twitter but after listening to your takes made me appreciate all the wonderful Star Wars moments we did get. Your passion and love for this franchise is infectious and sorely needed when negative headlines rule the day. Now loving the Obi-Wan reviews and going back through your library and listening to past episodes. Thanks for all your hard work!!
  • Bear790

    Favorite Star Wars podcast
Love the variety of topics and insight. Thanks for all of the hard work.

There’s a difference between being positive, and just loving everything.
These guys get a five star review, if for nothing else, their ability to perform these mental gymnastics to convince themselves that they love everything, and that everything is perfect from Star Wars. It really is astonishing. I love Star Wars, but somethings are objectively not great. It doesn’t mean I hate Star Wars, and I get no enjoyment over dunking on things but I don’t like. It’s just strange that in the last 45 years, Star Wars is batting 1.000. Anyway, if these guys are actually being honest, and they love everything no matter what Dash good on them. Life is too short to be obsessed with things that you don’t enjoy.
  • Foorocker
This is the Podcast feed you have been looking for
Insightful, funny, engaging, and entertaining. This is the by far the best Star Wars podcast out there. Ken, Joseph, and Jennifer are true fans who have a deep appreciation for all things Star Wars, and are just as much of huge fans as all of us. You can tell how genuine they are, and aren't just doing this because the thing to do right now is have a Star Wars podcast. They have a great steady mix of shows every week, including monologues, fun discussions, hilarious debates, and NPR style Star Wars reporting. Couldn't recommend them enough and love checking the feed during the week to download the new episodes!
