Yvan TrinhActionable adviceI really appreciate this channel particularly because of the continuous stream of actionable advice the team provides every week from different perspectives.

F123456799Nothing to gainI really wish this podcast was done more professionally. I had such high hopes but I feel like I’m being clickbaited and yall just talk about random stuff. Which is totally fine but I feel lied to!

willmizeGood Info, Repeated ConstantlyLove Tim, Bridget, Sam and Blake, but after listening to about 20-30 episodes, I get the drift. Thumbnails, Title, Hook, GO! That and the repeated use of the words “podience” and “ideation” are jarring, unnecessary. Use “audience”, please!
-
Cewelsch89Deducting a star for the repeated use of the word “podience”.Stop trying to make podience happen. It’s not happening.
-
SanjuBeanShe’s kinda weirdWhy does she crack up after every point? “You should write a good title. HAHAHAHA!”

JohnPanaCLETaught me to tell storiesThank you to Tim and the team for teaching the 7 elements of storytelling that each of my videos should include. I’ve learned so much from these podcasts that I can apply right away to my creation process. You’ve demystified the YouTube algorithm and helped me to make better quality content for our viewers.

FitgirlonthegoHappy for your team!Congratulations on the announcement this week. I can hear the enthusiasm in your voice. This podcast and the primal branding messaging really helped me! -Christy Keane YouTube Channel- Christy Keane Can IG/TikTok- @christykeanecan

Drew0604Amazing ContentThis podcast is always a great listen. There is education and value in every episode. I would definitely recommend to anyone growing a YouTube channel or online business!

nunyabisinessLike looking for a needle in a haystackNot a top notch education podcast. Although they do manage excellent chemistry among the hosts, teasing out actually helpful information is painstakingly tedious among all the personal anecdotes. I’m also concerned about sharing coaching clients stories without their presence or express permission…this is uncomfortable to listen to. Maybe their clients were fine with being held up as examples *anonymously, but it gives me pause to consider ANY coaching relationship in the future as my personal story may be co-opted for future content without my permission or knowledge. This does not make for a comfort listening experience.

ladyliftToo much talking about things non YouTubeI appreciate all the free advice, however, sometimes there are too many tangents and I end up skipping half the episode. Also, the females voice seems muffled where I can hear both males voices perfectly.
-
total_dirtAtherplex (YT)I’m trying to grow my channel but this shouldn’t help because over 45 minutes of an episode is off topic they talk about there life and stuff so ye it’s really boring.

grantastThe #1 choice for pros and hobbyists, alike! As a long-time YouTube professional, I continue to be amazed at the wealth of new information from the show. (One time they even took a question from me directly into the show!) The hosts are all warm and amusing, making the many teachable moments a treat to listen to. This was the first YouTube podcast I subscribed to when I started a new full-time job as a YouTube manager, and I’ve been listening to it regularly and following their best practices ever since. I even purchased their “30 Days to a Better YouTube Channel” that I’m now applying to my second personal channel.
-
Velveeta313Less “Morning Talk Show Chatter”It’s grueling getting through the first 10-12 minutes of this show. I skip ahead because it’s just nonsense talk about their lives. Why don’t they edit this out? Nobody cares about this.

TheGentleG1AntDon’t listen to everyone else. This is BY FAR the GREATEST source of reliable information and PROVEN DATA when it comes to information on how to grow your YouTube channel. Compared to all the other “YouTube experts” out there who pretty much repeat the same thing over and over and never really hit the heart of the issue, these guys blow them out of the water. I’ve dived deep into their information by listening to countless episodes, and I’m 10,000% more empowered to take on the beast that is YouTube. I will be purchasing the “30 days to a better YouTube” product the first financial opportunity I get! Thank you video creators!
-
vivwillLove the Show BUT 1 ISSUEI love you guys! But the intro- I’ve listened to like 4 episodes. I find the banter annoying ONLY B/C folks are so busy. I wish you would just jump into the content faster please. V.
-
hokiesrfresh1Great content but intro too longI love the podcast and information they provide but the first 10 mins is about catching up in their lives. I’ve got a 20 min drive to work and I want to learn about making better content not your life. Just warn us when the content starts. Or make another podcast called “catching up with the creators” for the fans that want in your life.

jhongocThanks.Hello guys, thanks a lot for all that interested info you guys always provide! Hope I can afford your labs soon! Thanks Tim and team!

Youtubelife24750% AdvertisementsThis show often spends a large majority just ruthlessly plugging the services they provide instead of covering the topic in the title. The last episode was about an hour with over 30 minutes devoted to a sales pitch. This is very annoying and not worth skipping through to find the small section of actual content.

Claridge LeatherMost helpful content for me as a new creatorI have searched far and wide for resources to help me start my YouTube journey right, and this is hands-down the most helpful and consistently solid information for me as a new creator. I am not one to normally pay for courses and things like that (I can figure it out myself! 🙄), but I have found this podcast to be so helpful that I purchased the “30 Days” course and, as expected, I’m finding huge value in it. I really appreciate the people-centered (not robot-centered) approach that is always presented here, and I find so much thought-provoking content here that helps me define and reach my audience. Can’t thank you all enough. 🙏🏼 -Tanner

Hava SchultzThank You + YouTube Hashtag QuestionHi Tim! I wanted to just reach out and express my gratitude for the valuable content you are sharing with the world. Your podcasts are energizing and inspiring, as well as educational! That brings me to a big question I’ve been having that I can’t seem to find the answer to online anywhere! (read on...) I have been sporadically posting videos to my YouTube channel since 2018 but decided to start taking it more seriously with my New Years Resolution to post one video every week (same day, same time). So far I have stuck to that, and now I am gearing up to increase my posting to 2-3 times per week (pushing for 3 times per week). I have done tons of studying through books, youtube videos, virtual trainings, podcasts, blogs, etc. because I understand that to truly grow online, and specifically YouTube, it’s so much more than just creating videos. I have learned a lot about the best practices regarding titles, thumbnails, keywords, tags, descriptions, etc., but one thing I just can’t seem to dig up much in the way of recent information on is YouTube HASHTAGS! Everything that pulls up on YouTube and Google is from around 2018, when the feature was new. I found one recent post (March 2020) on it, but we all know that the dynamic of the platform has changed a lot over the course of 2 years. Given the large output I am preparing to do (as a one-man-band, by the way), I want to know if YouTube hashtags are worth my time. I am trying to tackle my channel with “no stone left unturned” but my time is still limited, and if this is obsolete, I don’t want to waste time on it. If it is not, however, why are hashtags still helpful for search? What would be the best way to identify “optimized hashtags” today? I want to apply best practices, but I just can’t find anything current. )Apologies for the redundancy.) I’d really love to hear your take on it as a current creator and YouTube expert I often learn from. I love that your answers to questions and lessons are always packed with not only actionable steps, but also with reasons behind it all and the value of each strategy. I’ve honestly been hesitant to post a question because I know you and your team are so successful that I fear it will get lost in the mix. But now I realize that you have given so much to me that it doesn’t entirely matter whether you do or don’t; you always come through with something valuable! Hope you get around to answering this question. Thanks again for everything you’re doing!

Holy EarsExcellent!!Tim is straightforward, knowledgeable, and professional. I am learning so much! It is challenging and intimidating sometimes but the facts I am learning are invaluable.
-
amymonroe00Helpful and a bit repetitiveGreat tips! Though after listening to about 10 episodes the tips became repetitive. Same stories also repeated. Excellent for a new person tuning in. I appreciate the dedication to helping others!
-
NoswaledOverwhelmed but inspiredI have wanted to start a channel forever but was too afraid no one would care what I have to say. I jumped in and doing it to satisfy something from within. However, I want to so more. Stumbled onto the podcast and I’m addicted! Still not sure about my niche but I know I’m paying my dues!
-
V-JimInvaluableI am not a seasoned video creator but I have responsibility for some of the key technologies required by creatives and this has been a fascinating way to learn their problem space beyond frame rates and resolutions.

D P RenzHigh Quality InformationThis is one of the few podcasts I follow every week. Tim has been a great source of encouragement and useful information to help me on my YouTube journey. Thanks for all that you do for us creators!

Angry jobenThe BEST YouTube PodcastThere are other podcasts out there that I have heard, but Tim clearly takes the cake with regards to YouTube. He has a vast background with the platform and provides endless value to those of us who are trying to make an impact on the ever-changing platform. Personally, I have applied a lot of his principles and feel that it is helping tremendously. I still have a long way to go, but I know that I will succeed with his ongoing advice. Thank you Tim for helping us all change lives for the good!

CetriyaLove the content, but that sound ...Info is great, practically and really helpful as I'm starting my youtube journey. I only ask to change out that glitch soud. It actually causes pain and happens when I least expect it. Compared to the volume of your voice, that sound is so sharp. Please use something softer to match your tone.n

JRL2012Thank you!So I want to start by sharing the value of the podcast so you can use it for your benefit. I am a new you tube creator (attorney & cop niche) absorbing all of your, Derral, and Roberto Blake’s content. I currently work in a law firm while I am trying to gain traction on YouTube. Due to limited data plan I can’t stream you tube videos on my 60-120 minute daily commutes. That’s where the podcasts come in. I can download them at home on wifi and listen to them data free on the drive. Considering joining you on patreon, but I think I need to get more content up and another 500 or so subscribers before time the right time. Great stuff! Topic suggestion for ya- As an attorney in a highly competitive legal field I am very curious how a strong you tube channel affects, or effects (I never know which one to use) my local search rankings on regular google. So if I create a tips for DUI Defense you tube channel does that help my GMB page rankings when someone googles my business name. YouTube.com/LegalBro Congrats on your success, thanks for living out your faith, it shows, perfectly subtle.

Coffee2089Great Podcast for Anyone Who Wants to Spread A Message on YouTubeI appreciate this Podcast message, and the information Tim and Video Creators provides. I listen to 2 - 3 episodes per week.
-
URIOTAOutstanding! Very informative! The best podcast I've ever discovered that actually "helps" me with life opposed to just being an entertaining listen... one complaint, he stopped calling us the "podiance" ever since a guest kind of joked about the name!l... Definitely need to bring that back!
-
Trip AstuteGreat content and advice!Absolutely love Tim's podcast. He covers very relevant topics for YouTube Creators, and it definitely helps me both technically and motivationally! I've implemented many of his tips on my channel (Trip Astute), and consider his podcast invaluable to any new or experienced content creator.

SalilJhaA Podcast Every Serious YouTubers Should Listen ToIf you are a YouTube creator with less than 50,000 active subscribers, well, Tim's podcast is your go-to resource. We all know how social media has saturated with "too much content". For you to stand out from the noise and your competition, you have to be really on top of what you do. I started my YouTube channel "The Art of Travel" in Jan 2016 and within a year I have been able to reach 1000 subscriber mark (thanks to Tim & Video Creators Podcast). 1000 Subs may not seem like a lot to be excited about, but folks, it was an impossible number for me. Given I was so LATE to the party. Most of my videos have under hundred views but some have thousands of view. Overall, the work and techniques are showing result. Once again, I can't recommend this podcast enough. Subscribe, listen, take notes, apply, and then move on to the next one. Go slow. APPLY what you learn. Or else, the podcast will be just an entertainment and inspirational talks.

KombiLife.comMust have for CreatorsIf you want to succeed as a creator I highly recommend investing your time in Tim's content.

Josh888888888Value, value, value!!!Every. Single. Episode. I take away several nuggets of value for building my channel and my business, which is what I love about Tim and his efforts. If you're just starting out on YouTube, and need someone to call your mentor, Tim's the man.
-
medical listenerPracticalThis podcast is probably one of the most beneficial sources of information for a YouTuber trying to grow their channel.

DanagelsominoGreat Podcast!I didn't realize Tim Schmoyer had a podcast. I feel like I just found $100 in my pocket! ...And I guess in a way I kinda did. Tim's info is pure gold and has really helped me and my channel.
-
rteeleyA truly refreshing business podcastI’m obsessed with all things Tim Schmoyer. He has a very genuine and authentic approach to his content creation and it really shines in this podcast. He openly shares information about things that he is struggling with in his own business and through his insightful questions and guest’s expertise, we are able to learn together. There are a lot of business podcasts out there, but for me, most of them start sounding the same and slightly forced. This podcast is a refreshing change and I feel inspired after each episode.

MichiganocdsHelpful & EncouragingExcellent snapshot of Youtube from monetization point of view. Answers are succinct to the why and how. I especially found helpful the listing of the 10 possible revenue sources from a relationship with your Youtube audience. Presentation had a Degree of difficulty I would label “EASY” no experienced required. I do not have my Youtube channel running, it exists only in the form of a desire - and I will build the foundation of that channel on the concepts I heard in this podcast. Thank you for uploading this and keep up the great work you and your wife do, it is truly a family effort so my kudos to your wife and kids I appreciate they share as they do not only their husband and father but their lives too. :)
