I’ve listened to about 10 other drone-centric podcasts and this is by far the best one. The host’s knowledge and love of the subject paired with his organic coversation in interviews sets this podcast apart. The host isn’t just reading from a pre-made list of questions, he’s involved in the subject matter and cares about what his guests have to say! Also the amount of podcasts per month is right in the sweet spot. He’s not just putting content out daily to do so, the content is quality and engaging.

Good info even for someone who has to take the 60 question test as well!

How could you NOT love this podcast and give it 5 stars?! My knowledge of drones before listening to Ian's podcast was extremely minimal. I really wanted to dive into commercial drone info -- so I searched once, found Comercial Drones FM, and I've been hooked! It continues to introduce my mind to concepts I've never before dreamed, over and over again. Intriguing guests, experienced and knowledgeable host, pertinent and very fascinating insights and conversations, quality audio, excitement and enthusiasm... what else could you ask for? Nothing, I say. Nothing.

I am so impressed at the depth and the aptitude in which they speak on drones, esp Ian who clearly had a wealth of knowledge and huge passion on the field. Really cool to hear about this new tech is impacting our lives and even the prospect of the future implications of this new technology. Rock on y'all.

I stumbled upon Commercial Drones FM while researching study material for my Remote Pilot Certification Exam. Ian had an episode dedicated to Part 107 Study Guide, it was spot on. No where else can you find dedicated and up-to-date information on the drone/uas/uav frontier. It is fantastic to hear from the rising stars of this industry and learn from their experiences!

Great drone-themed podcast! This podcast has some of the most unique and informative content out there. (I.e. The FAA get out of jail free card episode). Also, Ian produces a high-quality podcast that is easy on the ears, and he has a great radio voice!

There are a great many drone industry individuals that he has lined up for interviews and the quality of the recordings are good.
