Katester!!!I adore Katie. She’s is exceptional at her job. So smart and a great speaker and interviewer. She takes her job seriously and is also able to show her fun side. I miss her on the Today Show. I enjoy her here!

E@honesttrthYour interview with Mel RobbinsKatie, you showed up to your interview with Mel Robbins without reading the book you were discussing. You challenged her on topics she almost overexplains in the book, like when and how to use this book with kids. And frankly, you showed up like one of the people she is trying to help us deal with in the book, jealous. I am going to continue to listen to your podcast but I will have to be careful not to bring your tone with me to the world as the whole truth and start “fact checking” you. I was sad to see this happening today. (My 1 star review is related to your part on Mel’s interview today. I give the show (after today) a 3, and it used to be a 5)

Clare of ClareOut of TouchThe casual conversation between Katie and Jessica about applying to Bryn Mawr, Smith, and Dalton was off putting and elitist. No thank you. I can’t relate, and I’m out.

tomi2muchMcCain InterviewI really enjoyed your interview with Megan McCain. Civility and respect between two people with opposing views was so refreshing. I did find it interesting and a bit irritating that Megan kept bringing up the importance of marital fidelity in our elected leaders considering her father cheated on his wife with her mother. All in all it was a great interview.

lee44!Enjoying the podcastI’ve been listening to the podcast for a few weeks now & am enjoying it. The episode with Megan McCain was a good one, I must admit. It was nice to hear 2 people with opposing views have such a good conversation. While I don’t agree with many of McCain’s opinions, I appreciate that she was willing to come on & talk to Katie. And Katie, nice job on gently pushing back on some comments but doing it in a respectful way. I’m still struggling greatly with the election results but it is good to know there are a few Republicans who continue to speak out against trump.

Cheribee 🐝Host speaking through a tin can and stringThis is how another commenter described the hosts voice and sound production. It’s true. Katie would do best to speak as little as possible because her post menopausal voice sounds like she gargled with road construction gravel. It’s really rough to listen to.

Terrybug13Love ThisThe week when a new pod cast I run to listen. Katie has warmth and knowledge beyond anyone I know. Her guests are insightful and also knowledgeable. Wish it was more than once a week.

Desertdog6Hindsight is 20/20Katie interviewed Jen Psaki to discuss the election, and what went wrong for Kamala. She said “Like, if she was asked about changing the Supreme Court at that CNN town hall, she had an opportunity to talk about ethics and what, you know, Supreme Court Justices Alito and Thomas were doing, and she answered, like, in one sentence, and then went on to something that had nothing to do with the question”. “You know, people notice that, and it’s like, ‘Answer the question, please!’” She had an opportunity to speak out before the election, to question why Kamala wasn’t giving in-depth answers. To ask why Kamala wasn’t giving more interviews. She did none of those things.

IdgjllfAshOut of TouchYou do know that you personally have been one of the biggest culprits of stereotyping voting blocks? But thank you though, as it just helped these blocks realize how out of touch the liberal elite (you) and Democratic Party is focusing on a woke agenda instead of common sense issues. Your recent comments (thinking KH wasn’t elected because of gender) only prove you still don’t get it!

19ubersucksWhat you want to know!Probing questions along with keen insights from Katie and her guests. Gets to the heart of complicated issues with intelligence and wit. A must listen for those who seek truth in journalism.

AmberEKatie for President?I hadn’t thought about it before today but why not?! She’s so smart and people know her. Great podcast.
-
Glacier1975Oh KatieI tried to avoid this pod but honestly I have deleted many others and this persists because the question that Katie asks are probing. I think they are uncomfortable at times. And I think we need more of the at in this country. Both sides need it.
-
bearmarOyKatie is so quick to criticize Harris. I find it strange considering she told us she obsessed about Trump in 2018 on trains with her husband. Now she said her husband and his friends aren’t on board with Kamala. Super strange as if she almost wants a Trump presidency.

GladysNanceGwen WalzWonderful interview with Mrs. Walz!!
-
laurainminnesotaExcellent pod with Gwen WalzShe is so genuine and so is her husband. So refreshing!

FastTwitchMediaProduction values . . .. . . are lacking. The host sounds like she’s coming through string and a tin can. Segments aren’t leveled in volume, transition music is barely perceptible. And duplicate ads? X 4!? Whoa, who produces this show?
-
pinacolodaLoved the Hacks writers!Wow, what a fun and informative and wonderful episode!! I didn’t realize the writers wrote for Broad city and the Mary Tyler Moore show was an inspiration for one of them! Love your podcasts!
-
BetsypepineLove Katie and her podcastLike when she was on air, Katie brings an upbeat, direct approach to her show which I love. Her guests are inspiring and often cause me thing about things in a new way.
-
SimcakeI just wantTo give a sincere thank you. Avoid the noise.

nbsfmcCall her Gov!Unless you’re calling Biden “Joe,” Gretchen Whitmer is a sitting Governor and deserves the respect of her title. Why do we only do this to women?
-
IndyecheLove the podcastsEvery episode is full of information Love the latest shown with Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer, Thank you
-
agdawg101Great topicsKatie always has current and interesting topics and she discusses them in an easy to digest conversational manner with a dose of much needed humor!
-
drewski21aToo Many Commercials!I love Katie and she has good guests but the sheer number of ad breaks, five minutes long, from beginning to end made me unsubscribe. Even though you can fast forward through them, it’s annoying to have to do.

oakboundbooksKatie Couric has an unfortunate “co-host”Although I find Katie Couric’s cheerful air at times bordering on insincere and somewhat disingenuous the most egregious aspect of this podcast must be identified as the insufferably pretentious-for-nothing self-identified “co-host” who adds nothing that an AI-generated drone couldn’t contribute while imposing his Google search-derived know how on such matters as transgender political benchmarks on listeners with a shameless absence of humility, as though an authority on each and every topic covered, simply wretched programming. Otherwise I find her as most Americans do a comforting anchoring presence capable of steering conversations away from overly incendiary or circuitous terrain towards a positive stance, albeit always predictably shallow in terms of insightfulness and appreciation for deep understories, seemingly lost or willfully ignored by the seasoned broadcaster.

Tracy in St. LouisGreat podcastKatie your daughter was absolutely right when she said “This was an amazing conversation.” Thank you for this podcast on disordered eating - much appreciated. And thank you for continuing to do amazing work on your podcast.
-
kaprnLearned So MuchThe podcast about disordered eating was phenomenal. Everyone should listen. As a school nurse for 22 years I could see every thing you were discussing. Mandated heights and weights were so anxiety provoking for many of the students. They were done privately unlike when I was in school. It was always a good teaching moment about health and differences in bodies but I knew I never had enough time with the students. My heart aches for the suffering so many people go through.

Andi RiesMay DecemberAfter listening to this episode (as I faithfully do) and hearing the two women who were the leads speak about the integrity of the film and the new perspective that it offered I am compelled to write about my deep disgust and disappointment in not only this movie, but in you, Katie Couric, for exposing your listeners to this tripe. I have followed and admired your career for a VERY long time and place you in high esteem. Most recently, I have supported your voice in the podcast world and social media, purchased your book, viewed your show in NYC, and most importantly, respected your ability to inform my world view. As a (newly) retired teacher of 66 years of life, I found that not only was I immediately, and with duplicated fervour from the original break in this story, deeply disturbed. What was the need to bring this back into the fore-front of public view? This felt like an extremely prurient invasion of the remaining lives of this family. There was no deeper understanding, just capitalising on a very sad story for another generation. Disappointed in PA Andrea Ries

Magpie JinxLate to the PartyStumbled upon this searching for something else, so glad I did. Most podcasts I subscribe to seem to be round table or permanent co-hosts w/ or w/o guests sometimes competing for mic. Katie, imo, is generous sharing interviews & has always demonstrated genuine integrity as a journalist & authentic person. Each interview sounds like she’s hosted w/ her +one for years. Positive vibes, professional, thoughtful, and skipping the angry grievances. Thank you!
-
B. BirdellNot loving the 'plus ine'I would rather she interview her +ones than having them be co- hosts
-
JoycieperMichael j foxThis has been sitting in my box for awhile. It was raw, yet warm definitely enlightening.

FendaTalibahHuman Storytelling from Trevor Scott BartonKatie, I love you as a human being and as a journalist. You get to the humanity of the story and that’s the kind of journalism we need in the US (and indeed the whole, wide world) today. You give us a human storytelling in a country that often turns away from the whole human and the whole story. Thank you dear one. Keep up the good work. You give me hope, and that means everything.

JM1219?Compelling Singletary InterviewI’ve enjoyed reading Singletary’s financial advice columns over the years, but never knew about the obstacles she faced in her life and career. This was a very moving interview and Katie always asks just the right questions.
-
SupergreatandhelpfulShallow assessing racial disparity episode. They were not connecting. Seemed like she was just trying to get through the questions then ended with “wow you are something “ lololol oh WP

Jrock500QuestionKatie, would you do a podcast on internet scamming? My very smart friend is being duped by some scammer who says he’s a WHO doctor. When I looked him up, there were 20 profiles of him. We did an google image search and his picture is everywhere but she believes him. She loves your news updates. Thank you. Janice Rockwell.

BookMumuExcellent Interview w/Judy BlumeKatie I am a few years younger than you, and I did not read Judy’s books either. I have 3 daughters. Need to ask them if they did. So glad she is getting much deserved recognition & that her book is being made into a movie. I did not catch the name of the documentary, but will search for it. Like you, I was terrified of getting my period after being shown a film in the school auditorium in 5th grade. So silly really, bc I did not start my period till the summer I turned 14, or maybe 15? I was so grateful it was summer. I remember where I was & what I was wearing (cut off jean shorts). Thankfully it began with light spotting. My mother just quietly showed me how to wrap my sanitary napkin in toilet paper & dispose of it in the waste basket. She was an older Mom & in hindsight, as much as I hated the school film, it was probably much needed. I am so opposed to banning books. The only time I interfered at my local library, was when my daughter checked out a picture book on Brazil for a school report. My husband is Brazilian & my daughters are all dual citizens. The book mentioned wife battery. I am not saying this does not happen in Brazil, or anywhere else for that matter, but it was inappropriate subject matter for her very young age. I brought it to the children’s librarian’s attention and asked that it be removed from the shelf. I did not follow up. So grateful to live in this free country. I am a huge fan of my local library. I am in there almost daily some days! Grateful for Judy Blume. I need to read Summer Sisters. And grateful for you Katie! You are woke!!!!!!

AZAnnThank You!Katie’s podcast makes you feel like you’re listening to a friend. I love her manner with her guests. She’s so brilliant yet makes it easy for her guests to open up. I love this podcast!

communitynewspodcastPaul and Sashafrom Community News with Paul and Sasha podcast used to both work with you at NBC and then at ABC. They liked your book and talked about on their top one percent rated podcast. You should have them on the show...would love to hear you interview past staff and producers that worked for you. Plus, their show is hilarious, smart, satire of life in a small, affluent town in CT.

GrzymhToo many ads!Content is excellent but the large number of ads makes it unbearable

my2ndactCharlayne Hunter-GaultWhat a honor to listen to this conversation. Thank you! I can’t wait to read Mrs. Fault’s latest book.
-
Linda4109AnnoyingIt’s so annoying when Katie repeatedly says the guests name over and over again. I guess she thinks this is a great way of being an interviewer but it’s cringe to listen to.
-
Tjmsk8rThe ad for this show is garbageI came to the show just to rate it 1 star for the ear piercing voicemail beep that is way too loud at the beginning of the ad. :,)

B b b b BeastImpactful Content/AdsThis podcast is important with impactful content. The ads diminish the impact. Please look closely at the ads playing Kim C
