    On Self-Care
I’m glad Rushkoff is prioritizing self-care as he describes on his most recent podcast. Without firming our own foundation, we will reach out from a crumbling one and bring people into instability. In short, self-care is not selfish. And this is especially true for those pushing against dominant narratives about tech being synonymous with advancement. The cure to tech addiction is uninterrupted thought; boredom that is allowed to morph into creativity without the impediment of neon distraction. Play.

    For big thinkers
It’s reassuring to know there are people out there thinking big with compassion. This podcast helps keep me from falling into misanthropy. A big Thank You for giving this gift. Life is interconnectedness and interdependence. Let’s not let each other down!

    Hello Kooks
I remember when I was a teenager and I was into metaphysical nonsense like this. Thank goodness I given up on that woo. Gave it two stars because I thought it was sort of entertaining, in a weird kind of way. See ya crockpots later.

If you’re sick of partisan politics
and you’re looking for something humane and rational to give you hope and useful ways of approaching the future, listen to this podcast and read the book!

    Deeply necessary and inspiring
This is work that grants hope, vision and humanity that feels rarely accessible in this world. The interview with Grant Morrison I’d been waiting years to hear.

    Keeps me informed & inspired.
I’ve been listening to this show for over years now. I find inspiration in the interview guests work and points of view. I learn new things and learn more deeply and differently about things I thought I knew but didn’t quite. Plus it’s also just a good time. I like to hang out in the world that Douglas Rushkoff has created. Team Human helps me feel less alone on days when the state of things can seem bleak. Even when the content of the show is heavy, my spirits are lifted.

    Empowering, insightful and actionable! 🙌
Whether you’re well established as someone who can translate creative energy into the impact you want to have on the world, or just getting started as a catalyst for change - this is a must-listen podcast for you! Douglas does an incredible job leading conversations that cover a huge breadth of topics related to the ins and outs of living a life you can be proud of amidst an ever changing techno and geo-political landscape - from leaders who’ve actually walked the path. Highly recommend listening and subscribing!

Brilliant podcast but can we PLEASE...
For the love of GOD, edit out the mouth noises??! I’m listening to Mark Stahlman talk and I want to shoot bullets into my ears. I have literally skipped entire episodes because of all the lip smacking the guest was doing and I’m literally one lip smacking away from deleting this one.

I am on team Gaia, but I love this podcast
This has become my favorite podcast of all time. Douglas Rushkoff is a gift to humanity. Denial runs deep in our culture and it is refreshing to see and hear someone who is willing and able to critique it on the level he does. I just wished there were more like him on the planet. But I guess if there were. We would not be in the crisis we are in. And there would be no need for people like him. To show us just how silly we have all been acting. Burning down our own house.

    Good. Can be great.
This podcast is good for the fact that it makes plain some of the interconnected threads of politics, economics, technology, etc that affect our real lives. It can be a bit abstract and academic at times, but for the most part it advocates for us humans in a clear voice. My ONE critique, echoed by at least one other is that Douglas needs to TALK LESS. This means maybe shorter monologues, and less interruption of guests when they are speaking. It is TEAM human, remember…

    Top 3 Podcast
I listen to (too) many podcasts and Team Human is definitely one of my top three favorites. I have yet to be able to attend a live event, but am looking forward to doing so soon. His guests are always super interesting and I especially love the pre-interview monologues that are also shared in print form on Medium. I've read most of Mr. Rushkoff’s books and am super proud to be able to support him financially through Drip. His voice is exactly what we need at this unnervingly fast-paced and chaotic time of human history. Go, Team!!

    Solid
I found Douglas Rushkoff via Yoga Talks podcast with J Brown. I’m an organic vegetable grower in Northern MN and as somebody on the front line of building human connections between people and food and building tangible human connections, I just love the critical outlook in our current tech-worshipping world. But what’s with ignoring the whole Midwest on you book tour? I’m sure Minneapolis will welcome you and I can get my book signed.

Culture as if humanism and hope mattered
Doug is one of few public intellectuals with a will towards a positive future and the history background to talk about what is and is not, healthy cultural change. Doug does what corporate media avoids; keeps truly human values at the forefront of discussion. No better media at the moment for “news of our possible positive futures" Few other places where you can hear how to preserve existing workable public commons, create new ones and the cultural shifts needed to create neighborhoods and communities where worker-owned enterprises can take root and unfold. His many books are also worth your attention.

    Love this podcast
I really enjoy this podcast , however lately you have been less human by editing out the swears. If this is so you can sell advertising then I understand. However I feel it is less authentic and less human

    Ideas for a better future
I’ve always admired Douglas Rushkoff as a writer, speaker and intellectual, now with his podcast - Team Human - the academic bluster meets the road as he interviews academics, entrepreneurs, activists, artists and other fantastic humans working hard to make the world a better place for us, not algorithms, machines and outdated imperialistic ideologies of extraction. Thought provoking and inspiring there’s always something good to chew on.

    A mind-provoking, inspiring podcast
I’ve long enjoyed Douglas Rushkoff’s work and this podcast has become one of my favorites of 2017 (and as a podcast addict who is subscribed to over 100 podcasts, it faces stiff competition!). He interviews fascinating guests and starts each show with a monologue based on current events but from his unique perspective, which is really all about finding a way for humanity to move forward into a world of increasing technology without losing the essentials aspects of our humanity. With so many intellectuals fully on the techno-utopian train, it’s nice to have a voice who digs into whether that’s the best route to take.

    Probably the most important podcast
Intelligent, fun converasations as prophylaxis against corporate territorialization of the human soul.

Required Listening for the Human Race
I listen to podcasts almost every day. They've brought me so much joy and knowledge and connection. But I've never written a review. This podcast will move you to do things you've never done before.

One of the most important podcasts
This is an incredibly potent, critical and helpful podcast. It's a great place for everyone already familiar with Rushkoff's life work, and a great gateway for those who are just discovering his ideas. This is what podcasts are made for. #TeamHuman

    Meaningful, transforming, important.
This is the conversation I have been looking for. An intelligent discussion on taking control of OUR future. I get it that Capitalism is broken. But what is next? Debt steals your future. Empty employment is slavey. Technology offers endless options. But if WE don't discuss what and how it should be, it will rule us. A few will dominate the masses. I want a fair future. Team Human talks about this.
  • Dmare
    Fascinating
The podcast is an excellent extension of Rushkoff's books. Nobody seems to know how best to solve the problems that plague team human, but this podcast is a rare example of people offering prescriptions rather than endless diagnosis.

    Douglas Rushkoff: Deep Cuts
Finally, a central place to find Mr. Rushkoff, and his guests, riff off the themes explored in his book "Throwing Rocks at the Google Bus". Since the book has come out, I have been searching YouTube, other podcasts, and any other bit of interviews I could find featuring Mr. Rushkoff talking about the the themes of his book but could never find one that did a deep dive into one idea. Team Human is doing these deep dives and coming up with resources and solutions that can help us take the fight offline, into the real world, where people and not programs can create change.
