    Fantastic Podcast!
I have been listening to this podcast consistently for about a year now and I find it to be so encouraging. I have ADHD and co-own a business and I feel like this is my community. Thank you for what you do, David!

    Eh.
Sounds like my mom. Set alarms! Set deadlines! Show up early! Nothing original or even really useful here.

    Get to the point, man!!!
Have only listened to a handful of episodes, but holy crap dude. Use a script or an outline. In the latest episode I listened to, he is truly just rambling for a full 5.5 minutes before he says “and as they say in show business…without further ado…let’s get to the…” and then he still has more preamble. Ironic?

    Great show
I appreciate David’s experience, sympathy, and his keeping his episodes relatively brief for us distracted and busy sufferers.

    Not applicable to my life.
ADHD advice for people who own their own business and work from home and have complete autonomy over their schedules.

    Solid advice
Great info and solid advice. One suggestion is that the the host work to stop saying “ok and alright”. It’s got to be hard to speak without an audience. Eliminate the word ok and the show will be fantastic.

    ADULT ADHD HERE
I was fortunate enough to find this podcast and then took the next step, and reached out to David for some one-on-one help. His experience, knowledge, and overall understanding of what it’s like being an adult with ADHD was extremely comforting and beneficial to my work life, as well as my personal life. I highly recommend you take the time and listen to this podcast. Some topics won’t have anything to do with your type of ADHD and some will feel all too close to home but take a look and if you like what you hear I highly recommend reaching out to David and getting that one-on-one time with him

    Top notch
This podcast has been a lifesaver. Even though not formally diagnosed with ADHD, this podcast has been a real help, a positive influence, encouraging, and inspiring. Theres also a feel of camaraderie and self acceptance. Thank you so much, I highly recommend to anyone feeling overwhelmed or needing real life strategies that actually work.

    1st podcast review
This was fantastic and easy to listen to. I searched the topic I wanted and this podcast came up right away. I was even inspired to take notes. I listened to the episode with Dr. Cheyette. Just want to say thank you.

Could you keep the sound level even? Otherwise it’s good content !!

Curves the curse of the scattered brain
This podcast has given me advice that is so useful and straight forward. In the past I have listened to productivity podcasts that where amazing, but where not exactly useful for someone suffering from severe ADHD and all the anxiety that comes along with it. If you are in a moment when you are feeling like your brain is scattered and you feel incredibly anxious I suggest giving this podcast a listen. The host and guests give valuable information on dealing with your stress, in addition to humorous commentary that helps you ease up. I am reminded not to take my ADHD too seriously while listening and you can’t put a price on that!

    It helps
I have heard multiple ADHD podcasts but this is the most helpful. It removes all bells and whistles and talks about things that helps someone with ADHD and also anxiety. Other podcasts give a ton of unnecessary introductions and stories which are not useful. This podcast gives actionable items. People who come here has the same thing as others with Adhd . So every bit of this podcast helps

A great podcast, whether you have ADHD or not
I read David Greenwood’s book by the same name before discovering this podcast. Both his solo shows and his guest interviews are informative and entertaining, like overhearing someone who knows exactly what you need to hear in a very down to earth and funny way. Let’s face it, we are all distracted these days, whether you have ADHD or not. This podcast will help you feel less alone and give you real strategies for getting out of your own way.

Just what ADHD Adults need to hear for these times
I starting listening to David’s podcast when COVID hit, and I’ve been going back into his archives since. Overcoming Distractions is timely as any podcast can be for helping adults like me, with good intentions and a slight wandering a-tention. (Or, e-tension.) David is warm, personable, and an excellent interviewer. Every show is chok-full-of goodness that makes you feel joy and empowerment, even while not sugar-coating any of the darkness adults like myself with ADHD are learning to not just manage, but thrive with and help others. I also recommend checking out his book by the same title, “Overcoming Distractions.” You’ll learn how to turn your own distractions into directions, and make your ADHD a gift!

An amazing lineup of knowledgeable guests!
Recently diagnosed with adult ADHD several years after my son, despite my knowing almost immediately that I also had it (misdiagnosis with depression and anxiety). I've had mixed emotions since. Your podcast had helped me to realize that all isn't lost. Thank you!
