Denver7756OMG! Victim-blaming the Timberwolves?Truth be told, I’m a Nuggets season ticket holder, who believed that the Timberwolves series was the scariest last year and knew they are the toughest matchup for us. I thought your podcast after Game 2 was balanced. But after being beaten, you blame the Wolves for losing, no credit for the reigning Champions for actually winning? Murray who has hit 50 points against the Lakers in two different tournament series?! Maybe the Wolves were not ready for “real” officiating nor actual physical play? Game 4 might be a classic. But don’t blame your excellent team. They were beat because Denver played at their best (which I have seen hundreds of times). What truly surprised me was that your crowd left before the end of game! After losses, especially in tournaments, Coloradans always remain to applaud our team. I have never left before the final in-arena post game interview. Thousands of fans do the same. Lastly blame Murray not getting suspended. Have some spine. If you want to be world champs, don’t blame the officials. The Nuggets did not in spite of stupid player behavior.

sharpayluverfourever!Great show!I love this show because it always helps me relax at night and I am a huge basketball fan/ player. So I know a lot of stuff and somehow every time this podcast always surprises me with new facts!

lord.chicken.nugget.ParkerGood show keep up the good work.

jdfinn85Fun listen, with some room for improvement…A good Wolves Pod that I listen to regularly. Solid topics and Ben brings good energy. There is some homerism in Ben’s approach and I’m not a super big fan of that. The other critique I’d have is that there are semi-frequent misses on details and/or thoughts that don’t align with reality (need some polish on CBA knowledge, player profiles and overall talent eval). Will continue to support the show!
-
funkiblond13Awesome podcastThis is the first podcast I listen to every morning! I’m continually amazed at the dedication Ben Beecken has to this content. Every day he brings fresh insights and makes it an interesting listen. His knowledge is superior and his delivery is the best! Bravo!
-
LongsufferingMNfanGREAT Content But tighten up the gapsGreat show. Thanks for all the insights. One constructive criticism would be to tighten up the gaps and dead air. Sometimes it’s 5-8 seconds of dead air between commercials or segments. Not a big deal but I sometimes flip to another podcast when the dead air hits. Keep up the great work.

Samurai-Joe!Hate shows with MarneyListen to all the regular pods, but skip the post-game ones due to Marney. Please go solo or replace her with someone better like Lea B. or Brunson.
-
Mamen12345Audio issuesFor the second time in a row, Marney’s audio isn’t working on the post game show. The audio issues are so irritating, it makes those episodes impossible to get through. Why continue to upload them with issues?

Chad DubskyEnjoy Locked on Wolves podcastBen does a great job with the Wolves podcast. He does his research, he comes prepared, and he’s very objective. I’ve listened to his podcast for a couple years throughout covid and appreciate his hard work putting out a lot of good podcasts; almost every day there is a new one. I’m glad the wolves have turned it around and Ben gets to enjoy reporting on a good team since he has paid his dues.
-
Seanie Blue MoonBanal Fan BlatherBen just rehashes water cooler conversations like the guy who loses $50 every week on bets he has no idea about. One cliche after another. There is zero psychological analysis, and his approach to sports is the simplest fan approach: winning teams go undefeated and losing teams never win. The nuance of sports completely escapes him. No wonder pro athletes and coaches shake their heads and groan when it’s time to talk to reporters. This podcast is unlistenable.
-
Ragnar the PillagerWolves podcast! It’s nice to be able to find Timberwolves news on a daily basis. That said some of the takes on this podcast are not well thought out. I can’t imagine having to come up with content every day on one team but fewer episodes that are more well thought out would be better.
-
d.dmacOn pointShoutouts to Ben for great insight on all things Wolves.
-
ColJJGodGreat pod.Love your content. I’ll keep comin back
-
Jester23!Great ReviewIf you don’t have time to keep up with Bleacher Report, the Athletic, and ESPN Ben does it for you!
-
TraaveGreat content for awful teamThis podcast has helped keep me engaged with another terrible Timberwolves season. The host is well prepared and has a nice pace
-
ProspectorGreat Wolves PodcastI listen to the pod 4-5 times a week during the season. Great wolves breakdowns. Very professional sound and talent. Feel like a national podcast.
-
Mohamed HersiWolves LFGThis podcast has been so great. Love listening to ben beekeen. He knows his stuff and makes fun learning more about my team. Love how explains things and he goes into detail. It has shown through his podcast that he is a great hard worker keep it up man!!
-
100 LindenCould be a long season…Ben’s up for it though…
-
MPete98It’s better! This show has gotten a ton better since Beeken took over. He’s got a good style about him. Love the show!
-
tjrueGreat daily Timberwolves coverageBen does a very nice job breaking down all things Timberwolves. Well researched insight and an enjoyable way to get my fix of the hometown squad.
-
BosiebikerBalanced and InsightfulI have really come to enjoy this podcast; it is one of my all time favorite sports podcasts. I initially only downloaded periodically, but over time found myself downloading episodes more frequently until finally I realized I should just subscribe and get all of them. Unlike a lot of sports podcasts, there isn’t any ranting and raving. No whining when things aren’t going well and no talking as if things are fabulous because a couple positive things happen. Just good insightful discussion on why things are as they are, and where things are headed.
-
mtgirl1967Updated reviewNot sure what Beeken problem is with Wiseman to not include him in his top ten or twenty of his mock draft seems asinine! He is so bent over hat he won’t fit with the wolves. I beg to defer. One who says kat is the answer for the Wolves long term. You basically have one center, who seems injury prone lately. Plus you could move Kat to power forward. Plus I think Wiseman could be a real star in the NBA. To have this guy not ranked because he doesn’t fit! A lot of these guy’s don’t fit. I don’t think Ball really fits either but you have him number 1. Come on Man!

Jei CeeIf you are a Timberwolves fan THIS is a gift from heavenThanks for the effort of bringing us (THE fans) daily wolves content. I really enjoy the pod and appreciated!
-
Warsame952Good listenThis is a good listen if you’re a Wolves fan. I like how he follows all platforms and updates us with all the Wolves news. The guys from previous years were hard to listen to but this Ben is awesome.
-
N22BrinkHorribleI wanted a place to get updated every day but this is horrible and the host is pretty good but all the other stuff is horrible.I Would recommend The layup Line.
-
VertigokingPodcastThe show has definitely improved with Beecken as host. One technical note... the pre-recorded advertisements are much higher in volume than the general program, making them jarring and annoyingly loud when they come on. A compression filter across the whole show might help that, or a limiter. And in general the host mic is a little lower in volume than is ideal so bringing that up in volume would help as well. Overall, thanks for the consistent content output and all your efforts.
-
bebetterbroPassStarts podcast off with, “Give me 5 stars to make me feel better.” Shoulda tuned out after that. Yikes. Improve your content my guy.

BennyT02Sub-par at BestI have to be honest here: I’ve been listening to Locked-On Wolves for the whole 2018-19 season. At first it was nice. Getting updates, information, and some game analysis on a frequent basis. However, as I continued to listen I began to realize just how below average this podcast is at the moment. Don’t get me wrong, I do appreciate the work that Colton probably puts into this. That being said, I’m not sure it’s the same level that many other Locked-On podcasts have. Colton frequently spends 10-20 minutes each episode praising KAT for his play. Though KAT deserves some of this, to do it every episode just gets boring. Can we throw that out and talk about this team, this organization and how it can improve? Also, I fear that Colton, though a big fan of the Wolves and of basketball, doesn’t know the depth of the game. Some deeper, more invigorating analysis of this team and the games would provide a fresh spin on this pod. Lastly, the hype over a late March matchup between the Wolves and the Grizzlies was just way too much. Jonas Valanciunas/Joakim Noah vs KAT is not that exciting of a matchup. I’m sorry. I’m not being a hater, I’m being realistic. Let’s talk about why a less talented team (Clippers) make the playoffs over a more talented team (Timberwolves). I get the whole injuries thing, alright? But it goes beyond that. I hope Colton sees this and realizes that I’m not trying to crucify him for this pod. Not at all. I hope sees this and is motivated to take some of it to heart. I wouldn’t be writing if I thought I was the only one who felt this way. Go Wolves. (PS-Like many others have said, maybe invest in a new microphone :))

BuffRebelWhat happenedShow used to be one of the better Wolves podcasts. The last year or so has been hard to listen to. Audio quality is terrible and the host sounds like he has perpetual cold. Not sure what happened but definitely not worth listening to anymore just because of this.
-
jcarl20Horrible audio qualityDoes he not have a dedicated mic for podcasting? The audio is atrocious. Additionally, the more I listen the more I realize I am basically listening to someone who speaks but says nothing.
-
earthprimepodcastfanDon't Judge Locked On by this!I don’t know why they can’t find a good host for the Wolves. It’s been several terrible hosts now. Colton is maybe the worst. He sounds like he does it at 3am after getting high. He literally yawns through it. Get someone who actually knows how to do a pod.
-
FreeflybyHorribleAnalysis of potential trade of Butler to Boston is just stupid. This guy is an idiot.
-
SkittlesTwixFrequent wolves updates and stays up to dateAppreciate the consistent Timberwolves coverage
-
nbobb44Unprofessional and uninformed-Consistently lacks content that has any originality. -Has no idea the direction the nba is heading. Time and again he says things that make no sense to a basketball mind. -Contradicts himself after he does research and realizes he was wrong when he first reacted. I’m a big Timberwolves fan but this is almost impossible to listen to.
-
ivche003Great podcastGreat podcast to listen to if you’re struggling to fall asleep. The echoey audio quality, monotone voice of the host, all the uhm’s and ahh’s, as well as the lack of any good and original content will put you right to sleep.
-
TdotRavNew Host, PleaseLove the Locked On podcast network, so it's very unfortunate to not have a quality Locked On pod for Wolves fans. The host Colton has very little basketball knowledge, can't pronounce names, and in general has a very poor voice for podcasting. David Locke, please find a quality host for Locked On Timberwolves.
-
Money0088C’Mon!Like someone said on a prior post, the locked on series for the most part is fantastic but Colton Molesky makes locked on wolves so hard to listen to. Hardly putting up any content and a lack of energy. Can we get someone who actually wants to do this??
-
Koolbreeze14AUDIO IS TERRIBLE - PLS FIX!DUDE, if you are going to get into podcasting and take this serious, you need to update your audio quality significantly! I cannot tell you how many times I just turn off your podcast OFF because you're audio is echoey, faded, or just plain terrible. Sometimes you'll talk to someone who is driving their car, using Bluetooth or something along those lines, and it is just absolutely freaking horrendous. If you're going to try to do this full-time, at least be professional about it and go get some professional equipment! #GoGetYourEquipmentFixed!
-
THegna4TerribleIt’s too bad Locked on Wolves is so bad, because in general the Locked on series is fantastic. Just wish we had a quality product to listen to as Wolves fans
-
brandonwarne52NiceCotton does a good job with this.

AlmerriamPower rankings of Colton Tom tim zackThe og crew of Zach Tim and Tom are great but the new kid Colton is bringing fire wolves takes from everywhere. Agree with colt45 about not being high on Rubio like the other three, his trust in thibs in running the organization and holding onto assets until trade deadline and see what we need then. I am a huge wolves fan out in Denver and have been listening to this pod and wolves wired for a while and am happy the tpupps are finally getting national attention from players and media. However, I am salty that Zach and Tim never hooked me up for winning the raffle last year in the pod with my hillsruous review. I recall that in my review I dogged on Tom for always talking about baseball and hockey and also compared him to skip Bayless. Tom- you have gotten a lot better at podding about the wolves and not talking about the Minnesota twinkies. My current power rankings for commenters are 1: colt45 2:Tom 3:Tim 4:Zack If Zack and Tim pay up and give the people what they want more like colt and Tom, i am willing to reconsider power rankings.

TWolfJrEating Candy while recording!Unbelievable that you would be so dismissive of your audience to eating candy on the radio and state "I don't even care"
-
Finding a Nickname to ComplainFix your audioThe sound quality is horrible.
-
TimberwolvesBobBad, terrible, unlistenableI haven't followed wolves too closely lately so I turned it on to get caught up and i had to turn it off within 5 minutes. I listen to other Locked on podcasts and they give me great inside insight you crave. The guy is clearly unprepared and offers generalized takes that you'd expect to hear on a crappy national show. He offers no insights and tries to be funny but his it falls flat. Please hire someone who covers the team. He's talking about getting Devin Booker-which has no chance in hell of happening. It's childish, don't waste your team and David Locke please give the Minnesota market a real pod.
-
Matt91486Not enough actual informationI don't really learn anything from the podcast. It's hard to podcast about a team daily, of course, but everything feels quite superficial. Occasional episodes have been good under the new regime, but as a whole it's just not really worth the investment.
-
StopBuntingPlzEntertaining and InformativeZachary does a great job when he has to go solo, but i thoroughly enjoy his collaborative effort pods; The 12/27 episode with multiple guests was fantastic . I'm not even a Wolves fan and I download / listen to all episodes . If you like the Wolves this is a must listen. (And check out wolves wired... shout out to Tim Faiklis ;-)
-
@ncsunickSo much better with HortonZB is an awful host. Never prepared, doesn't seem like he knows the game very well. Podcast was 10x better with Alan Horton. Please bring him back
