    Need more Crit Squad
Easily one of the best Shadowrun podcasts out there. The only problem: they haven’t put anything out in such a long time! I’m on my 3rd listen in as many years, and am missing the incredible folks who put this wonderful story together.

An absolute gem, an instant classic
There are very few podcasts that marry actual-play improv and audio drama formats this well. The characters are superb, the actors are incredible, and the story Austin Rusk weaves around player stories is fresh, engaging, and emotional. Did I mention the editing? Holy wow! The music, the pacing, the audio effects make it so incredibly cinematic, that this is better than any audiobook I’ve ever listened to. Season 3 is just a masterpiece in story telling. Just stop reading and go listen to it. Why are you still here?

    Shadow run is BONKERS.
Great storytelling and a lot of great characters! Sound quality and editing is particularly good.

    Didn’t know what Shadowrun was
I had never heard of Shadowrun before this podcast. At first I wasn’t sure I liked it because I was expecting a high fantasy setting. But the show participants have won me over and I’ve been a longtime listener now. I like the tight story and production; it’s all very character driven.

    This show is amazing!
Fricking love this show. Excellent production quality, absolutely hilarious and awesome characters, and a fun listen that doesn't get bogged down in Shadowrun's crunchier aspects. Anxiously awaiting the new episode every time!

Fantastic, in the Ninth Doctor sense of the word.
Getting back into Shadowrun after more than 20 years so I started listening to a lot of podcast. Excellent sound, engaging story, fabulous voice acting. I’ve laughed and cried, sometimes in the same episode. If you only pick one podcast, choose this one.

    Awesome Podcast
Found the show through The Anarchy. There was an interview with dm and sounded like a blast. Started listening to the first one and then fell down the rabbit hole and could not stop listening until I finished them. Like Shadowrun and a good time, listen to this.

    Amazing quality, easily my favorite!
The sound effects, music, atmosphere, and editing really make this stand out above the rest as a stellar RPG podcast. I aspire to Austin’s level of story telling and narration in my own games and am floored by the voice acting. I find myself caring about these characters way more than I thought possible when I started and even want to start Shadowrun campaigns now. Binged through first 30 episodes over the past few weeks and am honestly sad that I’m catching up so quickly. Keep it up, guys and gal!!! (PS I never do reviews, but just had to for this one)

    One of the best!
Out the door Crit Squad will have you tearing with laughter and making your ribs sore. Even when things get seriously emotional. These characters and the story is what comes to my mind when I think of another “Squad” from another “universe ”, but even better. This group has amazing chemistry and very good production. I’d give this podcast a 6th star ⭐️ if it let me. Keep up the great work Crit Squad.

    Great Show
The cast is smart and funny, and the show is really well mixed. You can tell they put a lot of time and love into the program. If you love Shadowrun and comedy, this is the show for you!

    Just the Fix
Scratches the Shadowrun itch I have been having for years.

    Good Listen
Easily one of my favorite podcasts! The sound editing is really good and the humor is fantastic! It is also one of the more lethal 5E Shadowrun campaigns I have heard!

    Beautiful
This podcast is a goddamn gem and I’ll tell that to anyone who will listen. Keep up the great work folks!

Players having fun in a great setting!
As someone who has only come recently to the Shadowrun franchise, I’ve found this podcast to be great exploration of it. The players are lively, and the game master does a great job in collaborating with them to let the plot and characters develop organically. The audio effects and music really showcase that this game is a labor of love.

    Excellent
CritSquad does a great actual play podcast of ShadowRun. There are many actual plays out there but these guys set the bar with the production and sound effects. Highly recommended!

    On the Very Edge!
This show uses near BTL quality audio engineering to move four unusual characters - some not even actual Shadowrunners - through adventures in the shadows of Europe. The action is near unrelenting as is the odd, dark humor.

Who is Jon Gault? Ben? Milligram? Sasha? ...that bald ork?
The players are fun and unique and, perhaps most surprisingly, despite all their best efforts, still alive? Great crew, great GM, and wonderful story being told. I can't wait for this to unfold even more.

    Listen. Listen now!
The Crit Squad team are having a blast playing Shadowrun, and it shows. The characters, the setting, and especially the audio/sound direction are amazing. The most recent episode, though (#16), completely blew me away. Crit Squad is an immediate download and must-listen, chummer. My autocorrect tried to change a misspelling in this review to "shedim," which I hope is foreshadowing ;)

    Just not enough!
Seriously, Crit Squad is fantastic. The crew are all quite listenable and the editing of the podcast as a whole is quite well done. The only thing that brings it down is that there isn't nearly enough. I blew through all of the episodes in about a day or so and their update speed is rather slow, probably because of the quality that needs time.

    Love the show!!
You guys are doing a great job! Can't wait to hear more about the team and what trouble they get themselves into. Please keep up the good work! Was there suppose to be a episode on 3/16/2017? Or have you changed the episode drops to once a month rather then twice a month?

    Love it.
Lots of fun to listen to. NSFW but that's what makes it so fun!

    Pink Mohawk all the way!
This is one of the funniest actual plays I've heard. Not to mention the sound design is gorgeous.

    Alpha-grade Pod
I've been consuming a lot of Shadowrun podcasts lately and this one is funny, fast-moving, and has a production and sound quality far above anything else I've heard so far. Well worth your listening time, omaes.

    Chaotic Awesome!
Basically one of my new favorite podcasts! Great character work, fun improv, cool world exploration. If you like shows about idiots trying to survive in a nuclear waste, I'd definitely reccommend!

    Loving this show.
I just got into pencil and paper RPGs a little over a year ago, and shows like this have been an awesome way to get further into the game worlds. The sound design is pretty cool, too. Looking forward to seeing where it goes.
  • Relative Dimension Podcast
    Great stuff, chummers.
Welcome to the Shadows, Chummers! It's nice to find more Shadowrun. The sound production is good, and the characters seem fun and involve, as are the In-Character interactions. I look forward to more

    Very Entertaining!
I loved the flow of the podcast, I thought that the characters were engaging and that the action moved along at a pretty good pace. There was a little bit of numbers-play near the begining, but things got rolling pretty fast. I was intrigued and laughed out loud more than once. I recommend!

    Lots of fun
The sound design done on this show is really excellent, it’s a lot of fun to listen to. If you’re into tabletop games and/or improv storytelling I think you would really enjoy this show.
