I❤horses!Love it!As an amateur horse trainer I have a lot of questions and very little money. Julie’s podcast is such a wealth of knowledge and not a hit to the wallet. Thank you for everything you do, Julie!

CrazyHorseGirl22Very interestingI’m a young equestrian and I hope to become a trainer and instructor. Julie’s podcasts add to my knowledge about horse training and I love when she shares stories of her real experiences. I also like the What the Hey Q & A section. I would recommend doing more episodes around how to bond with less horses/ horses that you don’t own, and generally more content for people who don’t have a horse yet. Thanks for everything you do!
-
Robbie MicheleGreat podcastI really enjoy this podcast, Julie has so much experience working with horses and I always learn from her. She is down to earth and shares her horse training wisdom in a way that is easy to understand and simple to apply when I’m working with my own horses. Thank you Julie 😊

JthurberThe Riding Tool Box I Need"For me, a period of self doubt is always followed by some more of positive affirmation..." I love Julie's podcast! She has really helped me grow in both my riding confidence and competence.

Chrisc1105Practical, concrete and helpfulJulie’s podcast has been incredibly helpful to me. She is practical and down-to-earth. Her advice can be taken straight out to the barn and used to make an immediate difference. Her philosophy is that clear, consistent boundaries and leadership will make you safer and more successful and make your horse more relaxed and happy. I was lucky enough to attend a clinic she held. She is just as happy to help a beginner with the basics, or someone who has had an accident and is struggling with fear, as she is to work at a high level with advanced riders. With the basics, you know she has taught these same skills thousands of time, but she is incredibly patient and willing to help anyone who really wants to learn. If you have a horse and want to improve your leadership, your horse’s manners, your ground work, your riding, your horse’s work ethic, and be safer and happier and have a happier, more confident horse, I recommend this podcast as well as Julie’s zillions of hours of videos on her website!

Kendle 12Great Podcast for all DisciplinesI love this podcast, because Julie’s approach is straightforward, calm, and can be applied to every discipline. I love how she goes so in-depth into every topic, and I’ve even been able to apply some of the principles to my life outside of the horse world. Thank you, Julie!

2yeehaaJulie Goodnight is an inspirationI listen to all her podcasts and look forward to every new installment. I often repeat an episode to cement concepts she shares. No matter what your discipline she adds to my partnership with my horse. Great listening while doing barn chores especially manure!

Dina dearExcited to Learn More!I’ve been so impressed with Julie Goodnight’s practical training information that I will be joining her 5 day clinic at the C Lazy U Ranch this October. I’ve been on an amazing journey with my little horse “Poco,” a highly sensitive, traumatized, rescue - Paso Fino I adopted 3 1/2 years ago. Nothing worked for us until I discovered the natural horsemanship methods. Now my communication has improved, his trust has developed and I’m feeling a lot more hopeful for a safer future together. Thank you for all you do and I look forward to leaning more and meeting you this October! (Oh, and I’ve never roped a cow!)

GroomLifeLightbulb moments abound!I’ve been into horses most of my life, and I absolutely love Julie’s no nonsense approach to horsemanship. She breaks things down in a way that is so easy to understand. When I understand the WHY of what I’m doing, it makes everything fall into place. I’m so happy I stumbled upon this podcast and Julie’s content! She is my new go-to source for when I have a problem with one of our horses. My confidence has grown in the short time I’ve been listening, and I cannot wait to put all the things I’m learning into practice! Ride on! ❤️

Judi Lexington KYReiner to Ranch Riding from Judi in KentuckyMany thanks to Julie for addressing my question on transitioning a reining horse to Ranch Riding in her recent podcast! She is so intuitive and gifted and gets right to the heart of the challenge. I cannot wait to try her recommendations! Also want to say that the podcast regarding trot hacks was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed it and even though have been riding (and posting) most of my life I learned so much! So grateful to have access to such wonderful information:)

Fan of Mexica FoodBest, and most useful horse information ever!I found Julie’s podcast at just the right time in my life. I used to show but now trail ride. She speaks to so many concerns I have encountered on the trail. She explains in language that is clear and easily understood. She explained the elusive art of collection in a way I can’t wait to try. I feel I can keep busy during winter months riding indoors and be ready for the trail when the weather breaks. I really can’t say enough good things and I haven't even been to her website yet. Julie thank you so much!
-

hamlinpopsMark from BondurantI’ve sampled many horse clinicians’ podcasts. Yours are great. Your podcast on bits covered them from A-Z, was informative, cogent, logical, and sooooo helpful. I’ve previously heard so much conflicting and misleading information. You sorted a lot of things out.
-
Great podcast on horses! How Can I Help My Horse Like His Job?Thank you for your podcasts. I listen almost daily as I exercise. You explain everything clearly and with such great detail. I appreciate your podcasts so much.
-
CarmieJoMy Favorite Podcast!Julie is a fantastic teacher! She is able to break things down into small steps so it is easy to understand and yet doesn't talk down to better riders. She always considers the horse and how the human is impacting the horse's behavior and performance.
-
snowmantra75Winter riding podcastLove the podcast. I have to chuckle because if I had to wait for 10degrees Fahrenheit to ride I would never get to ride! I live in MInnesota. Riding tip...I ride in my Steger Mukluks ( granted I don’t use a saddle ) but they keep my feet warm and half the time I don’t wear socks... they are lightweight. Julie you should check them out. Made in Ely, MN Use smart wool socks. They have an arctic version but I just wear my north country model. I wear Duluth trading fleece windproof zip up over base layer (smart wool) and a waterproof windproof outer layer.

CCGreggNew FollowerI am new to the horse world, I am 53 years young, and I am learning so much from her podcasts , I am wondering Julie if you have any suggestions for helpful tips when a horse has an issue letting me pick his hoof, he's been battling Thrush but I am having issue with one hoof in particular, he really battles me when I pick up his right front hoof, my horse is 21 years old , he's been trained in Buck Brennan horsemanship. He stomps/pulls jerks his hoof away from me , Any advice .

Filly Bu$terSuper!!!Julie’s podcasts are really helpful! She gives clear, easy to follow descriptions of problems & solutions. She breaks things down so they make sense. I’ve enjoyed this podcast so much, I signed up for one of her clinics in Colorado! I can’t wait!!! Thank you Stride Rite & Julie Goodnight for this!!!
-
M MeadeExtremely helpfulI just recently found this podcast. I have been following Julie Goodnight for a couple of years; watching her at clinics, following her on Facebook. I love how she keeps it simple and easy to understand. I got caught up in listening several good trainers, but it was causing me to try too many methods on my horse leading to very inconsistent riding skill on my part. I have decided to follow just one trainer and focus on those methods. Thank you Julie for helping this rider!!
-
carmncjGreat info!!I recently found this podcast and I am hooked! I’ve admired and learned from Julie Goodnight from watching her demos at expos and watching her tv program. She always makes things seem so doable no matter what your problem. She manages to give that same feeling when I listen to the podcast. It is inspiring and educational as well as entertaining hearing her stories of past horses who were challenges I highly recommend listening to this if you are interested in increasing your knowledge and skills with horses!

Her life is dedicated to studying our beloved horses and she has always taken it seriously, and her ability to take that knowledge and share it is incredible. I’m proud to call her a friend! PS - the Cascade Crossover for a rancher gal like me is the best, lightest most comfortable saddle I’ve ever ridden!!!
-
