Perkolater13I’ll miss this weekly must listenWhat a run. I had great fun for years listening to this informative, insightful and funny games podcast.
-
Trev9316I will miss this showBeen listening since the beginning.

- HiMyNameIsErin -I’m sad to see it goI’m a bit bummed that the show is ending. It’s a shame there aren’t more female voices in the gaming industry, especially an all-female-run gaming podcast. I’ll definitely miss hearing your insights on the industry. Maybe one day we’ll see a comeback. I wish you all the best with whatever you do next!

Gunblade RebelGoing to miss this showIt is wonderful hearing such passion about video games and the professional opinions these women have to share, both from a personal and professional stand point! I’ve only been listening to them for a little bit but every episode has always been so endearing between the dynamic of their friendship to their enthusiasm for the games they cover. Another great thing about this podcast is that there are tons of men talking about games and what they think but getting the different perspectives is always great. These ladies always tackle subject matters I don’t think many men would touch or even care about on their platforms and it’s refreshing to hear! I will be sad to see them go but I will always appreciate what they’ve done for the gaming community!

Kelbel2010Best video game podcast ever.I try to get all my gaming news from women because I just tend to enjoy it so much more. Some how I went YEARS without finding your podcast but came across it last year. I am so sad to hear the podcast is ending. But that sadness is only for myself and what I’ll lose. I respect people who change things up and make tough decisions and I have no doubt this was a hard one. So, whatever is next or will be on going in your life, I hope it brings you the most joy possible. Thank you for being a women’s voice in this male dominated realm and a mature and incisive voice too. Thank you for bringing such for the intense passion, creativity, love and community. It made me feel excited about the gaming community again something I wasn’t sure was possible. Like a lot of us this 32 year old women had gotten a bit bunt out by all the toxicness going up and then disheartened by the lack of representation when I was older. Don’t worry, I’m going to try to stay engaged with the gaming community in little way, only because I feel that is the way we bring about change. THANK YOU. For the work you have done and will do. You all are truly a lighthouse.

Strauby160True EntertainmentEvery podcast I give a shot at listing to I start from episode 1. Over 300 episodes later I can only say thank you for making me laugh, smile, and just simply being my escape from reality. I’m sad I can’t binge listen now that I’m caught up, but now I get the enjoyment of waiting to see a new episode available every Friday Thank you for all the entertainment, the news you bring us listeners, and for being your wild crazy selves! mooglesnmogsIt’s like chatting about games with my girlfriends……except I don’t really have girlfriends who love games the way I do IRL, so I appreciate this podcast so SO much. Thank you for all the work and love you put into this show!
-
ThatOtherReviewDudeGreat podcast with that has lasted the long haulI remember when The podcast was first announced and I was very excited to hear from a women’s perspective on gaming as it was (and to an extent still is )an under heard voice in the space. Despite the loss of Alexia and Kristin who were what brought me to the show Andrea and Brittney have done an incredible job. They show their personalities and have fun while still providing very insightful takes on the industry between the dirty jokes. Been here for 7 years and I’m excited for 7 more.

Justus W.Great show!I was a big fan of the Co-Optional Podcast with TotalBiscuit back in the day and never quite found a replacement for that funny comprehensive dose of gaming I could look forward too every week … until now. This checks all the boxes, definitely worth a listen!

S. Tyler HoffmanJust what the doctor orderedWGG is the gamer community that I've been looking for all my life. At any given moment, conversation can be quirky and fun, thoughtful and informed, and everything in between. They're honest and open about personal opinions but they lean on professionalism and objectivity when it's needed. WGG provides a wealth of industry perspective, over the top fun, and a community group that I never thought I would find. Check this show out, you won't be disappointed :)

Mr.Anderson1stFun Stuff -w Them Unapologetic Underrepresent VoicesHi, Ah… listener for a reasonable amount of time?… 🤔not sure how long constitutes using “long time”, but I have the tee shirt dang it! … The Podcast brings a unique perspective and voice to the gaming news commentary (‘talking heads’?… you know that punditry … ) segment. All that playful scandalization (in a good way) and oversharing (them TMIs 🤭 from a lady’s perspective) keep things fun and probably why marked as explicit content. 😏 It is almost like being present by the water cooler conversations around my lady coworkers. They eventually say something that will make a Fella bush… except that awkward moment … a gasp or choking on one’s spit can happen in once’s own privacy. That moment when you feel like you’re intruding on something and a quick retreat is in order, excusing myself and - running away… even though the water cooler conversation is really happening not by said cooler, but right at my workspace. 😬😅😀😁😏 #HoneyBadgerDGAF 😁

Here's To The Crazy OnesWonderful ShowI cannot tell you how much I enjoy listening to this podcast. The hosts of the show represent an excellent cross-section of gamer preferences and tastes, which is not always the case on other shows. If you love video games, you owe it to yourself to give these ladies a listen.
-
GrizzlyxbattleMaking Fridays amazingI work late nights so I like to listen to podcast shows to make the night go by faster and listening to the ladies shoot the gab and get my gaming news at the same time makes my nights even better. I highly recommend giving them a listen.
-
FaceiousGreat perspective on gamesFound this podcast a few months ago. Very honest input on games. Different perspectives than my own, helps me realize different things in games I missed.

mossburg3030*Updated Review* Great PodcastUpdated Review: Looking back on my previous review, I think all of it had to do with April 2021 being a very weird time for everyone. Absolutely should be a 5 star review. I listen to it most weeks, and have gotten great game recommendations (that I otherwise wouldn't have been introduced to), and insite to the underbelly of the gaming industry. Also, love the shenanigans. Old Review: I enjoy this podcast. It's consistently good from week to week. This would be a five star review, however Andrea insists throwing in at least one social-justice-warrior-politically-driven comment each episode. This is a video game podcast,... can't we just stay on task? I come to listen about video games when I need an escape from the regular news, and political commentary distracts from that. Not everything needs to involve politics. It is getting exhausting. Otherwise, great podcast. Glad Andrea is back and healthy!

Tnrsax1We’re going to miss you while you’re gone.I stumbled across your show in 2020 when I started driving truck. I quickly discovered how awesome you ladies are and binged all previous shows. I’ve been a loyal listener since. I look forward to every show as they make my Friday drive go by much quicker. Your reviews have inspired me to try new games that I wouldn’t have tried before. And Brittney’s love of scary games has given me some good suggestions to pass on to my daughter. Who unlike me, enjoys those types of experiences too. I’m going to miss the What’s Good Award’s this year, and finding out which horsey was the best. I do hope you enjoy the time off and get some good R&R in. See y’all in February. Dave in Texas

kirk12223Making my inner nerd smileI’ve been listening to you gals since 2020 when I got out of the military. I didn’t have much enjoyment but stumbled upon your podcast. I’ve listened ever since then and always enjoy the laughter and the true family aroma. Sad to hear you are going to take a break but I 100% understand as I now have an 8 month old daughter. SO I UNDERSTAND!!!! Can’t wait for yah to return from some rest and recovery. Just wanted to say thank you for being amazing gaming nerds and enlightening our lives. Truly amazing ladies and I’m looking forward to all future content. Thank you, have an amazing holiday season!

AnonymousNutButtNutButt has never been more relevant.I’ve been a fan of the podcast for a long time, and I’ve not gotten around to reviewing it until now…..but the sheer density of NutButt in this latest episode has pushed me over the edge. That and Red 13 riding a Chocobo, aka a “Tiger riding an Ostrich”. In all seriousness, I appreciate you all spending the time to create an informative and entertaining podcast that makes me smile every week. Thanks for all that you do!
-
WispywandsWhat a great podcast…I have listened for a long time and. Follow you all back to the GameStop G4 days. I travel and create for a living and looking forward to you in my ear to help me transverse the universe. I appreciate the exchange of energy and I look forward to you once a week.

Elaine PepGreat gaming news podcastLove this podcast and really appreciate the perspectives the hosts bring to games and the industry. They often bring on interesting guests as well. It fast became my go-to podcast for game news and reviews.

Steph_GodDon’t Do Better - You’re PerfectI tried to write a review last week after seeing a very critical and misogynistic one-star review that y’all DID NOT DESERVE but I think I might have thrown some swears in and it didn’t get published 😅 It really grinds my gears to hear people leave a bad review AND say some genuinely wrong things about y’all and I just gotta say: you three are kicking butts and taking names with this show. To be mothers (and soon-to-be mothers!) with families, lives, AND other careers that keep the bills paid WHILE writing, producing, filming, editing, interviewing, AND playing these games is INCREDIBLE. And every week you show up with amazing attitudes and brilliant shows. As a person who works full time in a job that is NOT my passion and has to hustle to pursue my dreams on the side - I have utmost respect for you all and the work you do ❤️ I just wanna say I have been listening to this podcast for about 2 years now and I honestly can’t wait for Friday every week to see y’all talk about games. This show brings me immense joy and I learn so much every week - THANK YOU ALL. Much love from a big fan, keep on being you, you shining stars ⭐️
-
the man candyLove this show!Never a Friday goes by when I don’t leave my office to find my partner watching this show to start his day. Amazing show, great hosts, super insightful. Keep doing what you’re doing!
-
JlafaryBest gaming podcast out thereI have been listening to What's Good Games since 2018 and I can honestly say it's one of my favorite podcasts of all time. Andrea and Brittney really know what they're talking about and they keep it as real as ever. As a dad of 3 young kids (6,4, and 2), I love how they are honest about the realities of playing games when you have kids. Long story short: it's hard! But this podcast never strays from the hard stuff in both life and video games and I appreciate that.

Friscom99Love this show!I love hot gamer milfs

nitemare200Do betterI should have turned this podcast off when it started with “I know that review is in the title, but that’s just for SEO. We’ve only played like 10 hours of starfield.” Foolishly I didn’t because I was hoping for a new feminine take. Then I absolutely should have turned it off when they tried to justify having barely played the game because they have children. Like so do a majority of other people doing the same job, but they’re professionals that understand the job and don’t play the helpless woman card to get out of putting in the time. Two of the three hosts stated they have less than 20 hours in previous Bethesda games, really cementing this as a cash grab after they spent the first 5 full minutes shilling their Patreon, begging for 5 star reviews, and talking about their sponsors. Like they were complaining about jump being the Y button as if they’ve never even touched a Bethesda game. When women are finally starting to get traction in a business where people like Bobby kotick have ruled the roost since it’s inception, you have to go above and beyond as a woman. You shouldn’t have to, but the reality is that you have to blow your male competition out of the water to get half the respect that they do otherwise you’re going to reinforce the stereotypes that have kept women out of gaming. These women are miserably failing at that. They seem to just be trying to let their obnoxious, pick me, it girl personalities to carry them for the simps instead of actually putting in real effort and spending time crafting their opinions. Do better.
-
tanGreat gaming podcast, great discussion, great varietyThese women really like 5 star reviews, I’m about 10 episodes in now and I would say this podcast deserves it! I exclusively listen to gaming podcast and would put this among the top. I regret I have waiting this long to jump in. The discuss is in depth but usually quick as they get through a lot of content, the reviews are fair, the news is relevant, and they are just enjoyable to listen to! Keep rocking on!
-
ericacostello54Excellent ShowA fun and entertaining show to get my weekly games news from! Weekly news roundups, reviews, and interviews from interesting people across the games industry. The hosts will keep you laughing and entertained for all of it. Informative AND funny!

nochginkReview from the pastI broke my android so I am using my old iPhone 5 as a wifi song/pod player. I haven't used iTunes in years, but these lovely ladies have said how much the reviews help especially on iTunes. So, with much effort with a slow phone and trying to remember ancient passwords. Here is this great podcasts 5 stars
-
JohnanomousDangOkay. I will admit I was a bit too harsh. I knew exactly what I was doing and shouldn’t have went that far. I left a 1 star review because I knew you would for sure see it. Oddly enough, auto play got me on this episode. I always listen to the theme song cause it’s a banger. Was looking through my library then heard may name! Then I remembered I was an A**hole about it. I dunno why it bothers me so much. I guess because it can cause uninformed people to form an opinion on skewed info. Either way, I forget that people are people who do people things. So for that, I apologize. Here’s a 5 star for calling me out.

Strung OutProfessional Quality PodcastThis is an amazing professionally produced show which is also filmed as a vlogcast (additionally available on YouTube). It is in no way, shape, or form a one star production, even if you don’t like it. Week after week, these folks deliver high quality well-researched discussions from a gaming perspective that are thoughtful and entertaining. It’s a “don’t want to miss” kind of show and it delivers consistently. If you’re looking for substantive discussion, thoughtful analysis, reasonable disagreements, and just plain silliness with incredible fun, this is the show for you. What’s Good Games is an oasis of respite within a desert of despair.

emmy2432So fun, it’s like catching up with friends every Friday!Hello!! I look forward to this podcast every Friday, I love it so much!! It’s so refreshing and nice to hear women’s perspectives on games. As a woman myself, I always loved to play video games since I was 7 years old (Nintendo and Mario’s #1 fan over here) but because of you guys, I’ve started branching out and playing games on my husband’s PlayStation and it has just been the most fun ever. I love that the three hosts have different interests and perspectives, and the banter between the three of them makes me want to pour myself a glass of wine and pretend like I’m meeting with my three best friends every Friday. :) Keep up the great work!!
-
Scott1175Great showLove the show and the back and forth with the hosts. One of my favorite video games pod cast keep up the good work ladies!
-
Kevin SolieOne of the bestThis and Core are always in my rotation. Thanks for the hard work and feel free to have 3 long ads.
-
MLR Bronco47Great podcastIt’s good.
-
CHeard2016Show has really devolved from what made me follow in the first place.Attacking reviewers, and not taking constructive criticism from their fanbase really is such a bad look. I had to stop listening to their episode the other day complaining about a viewer giving decent advice about their hunger for a million ad-reads on only an hour long podcast.
-
DefunctXHoly advertisementsI get it, secure the bag, 3 long ads in an hour long podcast feels greedy.
-
Winner201000000Awesome Gamer GirlsLove to hear different voices in the gaming sphere, love to have a group of women who covers the games so well, and not only do they cover the games, they throw in comedy along the way and are socially aware. Their distinct personalities really add to the show and make it just a fun time to listen to always!
-
Chag141Fun to listen to!Honestly they don’t go into as much depth as some of the others I follow (e.g. Digital Foundry), but they remind me of how much fun games can be, and they do a great job of hyping us up! I’m also glad they don’t put too much focus on the fact that it’s a group of women. They’re just some gamers who love to share their valuable perspectives on video games!
-
<R.O.C. boy>Love these girls!I am so glad I found this podcast. ANDREA, Ri, and Ms Brittany are amazing. So much fun. Keep doing what you do ladies.
-
pterodaxel<3These girls are awesome!!

PugslyderGrosseA must-listen for gamers of all types and levelsI’ve put off leaving a much deserved 5 star review for too long thinking I could adequately compose a review to describe all the greatness in this show. But I can’t, so here’s the best I could hastily write up while finally forking over my 5 stars. This show is great and offers more than just video games. Andrea Rene, Brittney, Steimer, and Riana share genuine and educated opinions in hilarious ways while demonstrating respect, inclusivity, patience. They cover topics like accessibility, representation, and mental health seamlessly woven into informative game-related discussion. They bring wonderful guests to share additional experience and/or advocate support for worthwhile causes. I hope WGGs keeps contributing to the gaming community for years to come. P.S. Bring Steimer back for a guest appearance or I’ll lead a one-person riot through my living room prior to back flipping off the earth. Please and thank you.

Johnnybats330Not enough stars in the worldHello ladies!!! I had never listened to a podcast in my life. I decided to change that in 2020 and googled best video game podcasts. I went through the list to see what was good and ran across WGG. Not only was it my first podcast, but it has been my favorite podcast ever since. Haven't missed an episode since. Andrea - You are a consummate professional and thank you for providing the great structure of the show. Brit - Thank you for all the laughs, making me spill my commute coffee everytime you go on those Ninten-rants. No one can go on one as good as you. Riana - Your unique voice and amazing insights into games is so refreshing. And congrats on all of your professional and personal accomplishments. Ladies, there aren't enough stars in the world to rate how amazing your podcast is. I guess 5 will have to do. Sincerely, Johnnybats

MindOfmatt_Thank you 🙏🏻Just wanted to say thank you to you ladies for being a constant every week thing in my life for the last two years lol I appreciate all the awesome info and news you bring to the table about all my favorite games, and helping my days at work fly by quicker 😂. Wishing you all the best, Matt
-
Rub311They shame people with diff opinionsThey trashed feedback of “Too Woke” by attacking the reviewer’s character. I feel unwelcome here
-
Fordy77Great podcast as a new gamer.I just started playing video games a few months ago. This podcast has made a lot of the culture feel way more accessible and has given me quite the list of games to play in the future!
