jb2135jFantastic!!Probably my favorite guitar related podcast. You can tell Craig really has a passion for what he is doing. He is very engaging, and I love the questions he asks. I also love the length of the interviews!

JaySixsmile more, say lessGreat guests and a lot of knowledge but A LOT of talking over guests and long rambling from the host which is frustrating when the guests have so much to say but keep getting cut off:

PeterPrincipalGuy PrattCraig, thanks for this wonderful peek inside the life of Guy, who’s my favorite bass player. As a 75-year-old, sixty-year-old bass hacker, I’m staggered by Guy’s diversity, not to mention his playing. I met him briefly in ‘94 on a Floyd tour, and now I know what a terrific guy he is. Great interview. Thanks.
-
Jay_L_KGreat guests, great interviews!Recently discovered and fell in love with this podcast. The guest list is spectacular, a who’s who of guitarists’ guitar players. Keep up the great work, Craig!
-
redsiberianSo much noiseAttempted to listen to the Al Di Melos interview and there was SO much noise of the interviewer - I don’t know what he was doing but it made the podcast unlistenable a real shame. He needs to get his technical act together

Jayare2Great podcast!I've listened to the Audley Freed, Frank Sardonis and Ty Tabor episodes so far. All were excellent! I am very familiar with Audley and Ty but had not heard of Frank. I've enjoyed his episode the most so far. Mature beyond his years and a great variety of musical tastes. Craig does a great job asking questions not just about guitars and music, but life in general. Thanks for what you do!

B. BuckleyYeah! Tim Mitchell.Loved the Tim Mitchell episode. He’s one of the greatest dudes I know. Looking forward to checking out the Grecco Buratto and Adam Zimmon episodes next! - Brendan Buckley -

Fusion Frank DA must listen for musicians and fans of MUSIC!Craig, Thanks for the insightful interviews and and amazing guests! Time after I time I am intrigued and captivated by players sharing their stories on how music became a force in their lives! So many instances I find myself listening to players I have never heard of and/or from genres I am not even particularly a fan of... If you have just read this and like informed conversations, Subscribe and see for yourself! Frank Dominick

Zoso 12Love it!Craig I’ve been an avid listener for a couple years now. I love your show on so many levels. I was listening to a competing guitar podcast for a while and had pretty much had it, when I discovered yours, and have never looked back. I love your down to earth personality, laid back interviewing style, and non-pretentiousness. I also like the way you have a format and stick to it. You’ve obviously put a lot of thought into what questions to ask and they’re very good ones! I look forward to hearing what the answers will be to those because I know they’re coming, they’re fun (desert island cd’s, favorite guitar, biggest influence, etc) interesting, and allow us to get into the guests head, so to speak. As a lifelong guitarist I love listening to other guitarists story/ history, and you do a fantastic job of getting them to let us in. Keep doing what you’re doing my friend!

SteveobackerInsightfulThe biggest compliment I can give to Craig is that it is totally obvious that he does his homework on his subjects - and they often comment on how great and deep his questions run. Even when asking the “obvious question” about a song, incident or whatever it is, Craig will admit that he just needs to ask something and then moves on. It’s so great that Craig is a music fan and, like me, loves to make connections - for example, he’ll always ask if they know this guitarist or that producer and seems genuinely excited when they make a connection on something. I’ve learned a lot of cool facts about my favorite musicians and learned cool facts that I didn’t know about others. Great job, Craig. Sorry to drone on but I wanted to make sure to give the specific points about what makes this so interesting to me!

Colonel ChavezGreat guests, but interviewing skills could be betterJust listened to the Nick Johnston episode and there are just so many weird interjections. Nick's talking about his album artwork and the interviewer starts talking about some random comic book shop location. And then Nick's in the middle of a story about his burgeoning career and mentions Polyphia. And the interviewer says, "Oh yeah, Mischa. Are they from Dallas?" or something. It's like...who cares? There's a LOT of this stuff and just destroys the flow of the interview. Sitting in silence is a skill not a lot of people have.

Jahmal 75A podcast that is a constant source of inspirationI play guitar and I love to play. Having said that I commute an hour and fifteen minutes to work six days a week and it gets very hard to keep motivated or even inspired to play. This podcast, your podcast gives me that kick in the arse that I need to keep going and for fun I always answer the three questions that you ask tour guests at the tail end of your show. It’s great to hear how genuine and sincere and real your guests are (they’re only human after all). Keep up the great work Craig!!!!! I consider your podcast a gift

JBroMusicOne of the best music-related podcasts out there!First off, this podcast is not just for guitar players. It’s for ALL musicians and music enthusiasts! Craig is a fantastic interviewer and asks the right questions as well as a lot of questions that are never really asked of these musicians. He interjects when needed yet gives the artists plenty of time and space to speak their minds and tell their stories. Fantastic stuff! Keep up the great work, Craig! *****
-
SSG FuryThe BestThe best questions posed to the best players of the instrument. Craig has a way of asking questions that makes the interviewee want to talk. Check out the Steve Hunter episode, fantastic and insightful interview of a player that everyone knows whether they know it or not. Two thumbs up!
-
flossiegirlRefreshing InterviewsCraig has created an intelligent and relaxed style for his podcast interviews. He asks good questions then let’s the subject take the conversation their own way. He doesn’t interrupt, is listening to what is being said and adds to it when the time is right. Excellent stuff!
-
tonengrooveGet yourself a skillet fried pie and set a spell!!Craig's interview technique is perfect. The guests are comfortable, unguarded, open and honest as a result. His questions always lead to interesting, funny and informative conversations without digging up old dramatic bones. This is simply the best podcast around and if you are a guitar freak, well, get yourself a skillet fried pie and a fork and sit and listen to them all. Craig is a solid cat, you won't be dissappointed.
-
PGAsbyInteresting and insightful - about more than gear!Craig goes deep with a range of interesting artists - some very well known and some who’ve played with artists well known - across a lot of genres. What makes it most interesting is the talk often goes into approach, how the business works, how players found their way through a challenging career choice, how they came to guitar, etc... Plus some gear talk for the guitar nerds among us but so much more. Well worth a listen.
-
DaveMatteoThe Model for Guitar PodcastI've been listening to this podcast for almost a year and have to say, this is by far the BEST guitar-related podcast there is. Craig does a great job w/ the interview questions - not your typical "what picks do you use" type of questions. His questions are thoughtful and give you a great insight into the artists, their backgrounds, and their music. Highly recommended.
-
gtrgrlEveryone loves guitarI really enjoy listening to Craig’s interviews- they are personal without being invasive yet really give you an insight to his guests experiences... entertaining and educating!

J Paul OCraig is a great guy!I had already been listening to the podcast regularly and always enjoyed hearing about other players and what makes them tick. Then was thrilled to be asked to be on the podcast myself! Vic GriffinMost enjoyable interview!Craig is a very personable, interesting, and easy-going guy to talk with. It didn't feel like an interview at all...and great questions beyond the typical. He obviously really cares about his audience to put the time I'm sure it takes into every podcast for 'Everyone Loves Guitars'. Thanks Craig...it was a pleasure!
