Vince Leo is a professional. He knows what he wants to cover. He knows when to reach beyond the 1980s to set up a review. He does reviews in logical groupings based on title, subject matter, and date. His approach is orderly and informative. Vince, please keep up the good work. Your labor of love is appreciated!

Been listening to Vince for 4 years now. Podcast is a great mix of well-researched background and his personal perspective on the film. Episodes are usually about 30 minutes. I hope more people try out this podcast — he seems to care deeply about film history and his focus on 80s films is a wonderful nostalgia trip. Simple, straightforward, and insightful.

I like the tone and pace of the podcaster. Seems to do the research on topics. I like that they are short but long enough to provide information. Does not need “fluffers” to fill air space.

I’m a film buff and I take film seriously. I appreciate how film is intelligently discussed in terms of production and analyzing the films. Really intelligently done. So many film review podcasts are really unfocused. A lot of podcasts reviews are people just talking, going on tangents, or kind of frat boys being immature with each other. I appreciate your reviews.

Love this podcast, takes me back to my good old days of spending every weekend in the theater watching all these films. This show is for all the kids of the 80’s.

This podcast is right up my alley. Great trivia, well packaged together. Having a blast checking out the movies again just to see if they hold up to the review. Changed my opinion on a couple too!
