The Carla Podcast

The Carla Podcast is brought to you by Contemporary Art Review Los Angeles (Carla), a quarterly print magazine and online journal dedicated to expanding critical dialogue in Los Angeles’s contemporary art community. We release a new podcast every month in addition to the essays, reviews, and interviews published in the magazine and online. The podcast includes conversations with artists, curators, and creatives that make that live and work in Los Angeles.

    An artwork unto itself.
The reading of the Carla Journal is an artwork unto itself! A must for all thinking/reasoning perspectives.

Love the audiobook version of the journals!
Finally I am “reading “ them!! This makes all the difference. I don’t tend to read art journals on paper and they travel around my place waiting waiting…. I love listening to them. Keep up the good work!

    ArtLAcentric!
Thank you Lindsay Preston Zappas, Janet Varney and other hosts and artist for creating Carla. Thankfully you have gathered a group of Los Angelinos/Southern Californians as my family of art overs. Nowhere can I find such concise and local talent waiting to be discovered by the world. I’m a fan!
