This is the first review for a podcast I’ve ever written. Fantastic first episode- You’ve definitely gained a new listener!

I had looked for a podcast that would help me learn about wine, really wine 101. This podcast not only is very educational, but also entertaining. I look forward to each episode.

It’s OK, I love the idea I think it’s sweet, but I almost fell asleep on my car ride and I can barely hear the dad speaking. I think maybe if they turn up the level of energy a little bit it would be more fun. I was genuinely trying to learn about wine for my new job but this really didn’t help

Love this podcast. I started working at a wine bar and wanted to know anything and everything to do with wine. Listened to all episodes and occasionally run back through old ones to catch up some info. Great job guys. Would love to hear some new ones from you 🙂

I’m currently on episode 10 (Nov 2017), and I’m loving this podcast. I’ve been enjoying my wine journey, and the format of your podcast is ideal for anyone who really wants to learn more about wine. It’s like a saying we had in the Marine Corps, you’re “breaking it down Barney style” (by numbers/ down to the basics). Really great podcast for people who know nearly nothing about wine, but want to casually learn more. Madeline asks all the “dumb” questions, so we don’t have to! My wife and I enjoy listening to this together, then trying a bottle from the region that was discussed in the episode. Keep up the good work!

Love this podcast. Have been binging since I finally started it. Based in Pittsburgh, PA. This father/daughter duo playfully banters back and forth as only you’d expect from a dad teaching his child about wine. It’s informative, approachable and quick. I can’t wait to try out the information I’ve learned about how to better read a wine label at the store and pick up new bottles to try. Thanks to the Quigleys for putting this out.

I love listening to this podcast on way home from work! I live a few doors down from a wine store and often take inspiration from the episode I have just listened to. Most recently, the rosè special helped me feel better about paying $9.99 for a bottle since “if you’re paying $20 for a rosè, you gotta scratch your head and think I should go get a different one”.

While I wasn’t able to access the first 8 episodes, I’m currently planning a Thanksgiving trip so the Thanksgiving wine tips were so helpful to start our with! I nannied for 5 years for a couple that collected wine but I had no idea how to get even half of their knowledge and this is such a fun way to learn. The father/daughter relationship reminds me a lot of mine and my dads! Keep up the awesome podcast and hilarious interruptions!

It’s a perfect way to get introduced into wine: all episodes are both funny and full of insights (best value wines, basic wine regions and their core characteristics). Keep up with the good work!

I actually look forward to long drives, light rail rides, and walks so I can catch up on my wine knowledge! This podcast makes learning about wine accessible and fun.

My girlfriend made me listen to this in the car, but it was actually really good and I’ve already downloaded the second episode.

I was listening to this podcast in my car on a road trip and I was so interested in what Matt was teaching that I missed my exit! I will remember the acronym ROY! It would be awesome if you’d plan a trip to Napa and/or France podcast from there!

I know absolutely nothing about wine and I really appreciate the way this podcast asks the questions I’d be too embarrassed to voice in any normal social situation! I’ve already learned so much and I look forward to new eps! Keep it up! You guys have good voices for radio/podcasting btw

My parents are winos but actually don’t know a lot about wine. So I appreciate someone else’s father taking the time to teach a clueless millennial like me about wine. This is an unknown art form. I also feel SO cultured listening to each podcast, well dumb for not knowing at first, but cultured compared to my Barefoot wine loving friends.

It is hard to find someone to break whine down to an elementary level. That is exactly what this podcast does, all while being very entertaining!

Highly recommend this podcast for anyone looking to expand their fundamental knowledge of wine. I've found the conversation to not only be insightful and easy to learn from, but it's also comical to observe the interplay between Madeline and her dad. Cheers!
