I keep trying to listen cause I’ve loved this show for so long but turns into politics every. single. time.

Pretty disgusted about them glamorizing a murderer and calling him a “heart throb” and saying he “united the nation” - awful.

I love you guys and the pod so much. However you have to stop talking about politics. This show is a place for me to relax and laugh. I get plenty of stress in other areas of my life. This doesn’t need to be another. But again love you guys and love the pod!

I’m quitting this pod along with many others. They have both become SO out of touch and I wish they could have just taken audience feedback but they do not listen

I have listened since day one but I come here to laugh and literally all they do is talk about politics. Like anything and everything. Raining outside? Trumps fault. Stubbed toe? It’s the president. They claim to have so much anxiety about the election and I truly think it’s because the focus on it so much!!!!!

I have listened to them for years but Ashley and Rayna can turn a fun podcast in to a political rant. Stay. In. Your. Lane. Unfollow.

I have been listening for 6 years to Girls Gotta Eat. They got me into podcasts and I’ve shared their podcast with so many friends. It is so sad that it is negative, political, and a lot of Ashley bulldozing the conversation. I hope they go back to their original vibe of comedy, sex, and friendships. I sadly can’t listen anymore.

Used to be such a funny, sexy show to listen to. The girls (Ashley mostly) have now resorted to talking about politics in the most insufferable way. The virtue signaling and attitude of it all has become extremely off putting.

Do yourself a favor and listen to Two Black Girls One Rose instead. These rich white women are outta pocket. They just virtue signaling. They believe in less than nothing outside of selling rubber penises.

Stop supporting Kim Kardashian by promoting her line. Secondly, apologize for being wrong about Kendrick Lamar (Drake hates women, crashed and burns in the most embarrassing ways and now you ladies now live in LA). And 3rd Ashley, history will prove you wrong once again but this time about Blake Lively. Please STOP discussing it on GGE. You are so misinformed, it’s cringe to hear your commentary without the scope of facts. Anyone interested in the case timeline, facts only, listen to the pod called High and Low. There is so much text to digest, it’s multi part but very funny with smart conclusions to what’s incorrect about what know nothings like Ashley say about the lawsuits.

Somehow Ashley gets political every single time. Go on somewhere.

I’ve been holding this in for a while now. I don’t like leaving bad reviews especially when this isn’t a solo podcast. But for the love of god Ashley- enough with your liberal rampages. This podcast used to be my escape from my real world stress, where I got dating advise, etc. I actually feel really bad for Rayna because I think Ashley is the reason ratings have gone down. If it is so bad here then leave. I seriously cannot sit through one more podcast of her whining about the election while she sits in her brand new California home. She’s insufferable. Wish Rayna would get her own- she seems way more down to earth. Please just get over it and go back to the old content. I promise you those stars will go up.

Used to love the show. But now Ashley lives in an echo chamber and actively attacks anyone who thinks differently than herself. It used to be sporadic but now it’s every week. It feels alienating and the opposite of inclusive. Even if I agree with some of her views, I’m just tired of hearing it in such a negative and preachy way. I really hope she can take the many similar reviews to heart…instead of just ostracizing people who think differently than herself.

I’ve been a listener from day 1 and disappointed the direction their podcast has moved towards. Nothing wrong with having your own political views, but to force those views down your listeners throat and belittle those that have differing views, seems off base.

I have been an avid listener since 2020 and for the last year I’ve been hate listening, and today I’m officially done. I cannot STAND it when they ask someone they’re interviewing a question, they answer, and then Ashley says “oh totally, we tell our listeners that all the time.” And then proceeds to tell a story about herself. So tone deaf of so many occasions, they’re pick me 40 year olds. They both need a stylist and a whole make over, starting with their hair and makeup.

I’ve been religiously listening to GGE since 2018. It was my favorite podcast for years - funny, interesting, and engaging. But the last few months, their episodes and Instagram stories have been disappointing and hard to engage with. I feel almost personally attacked listening to the podcast. Most of the time I don’t finish it or skip weeks without listening because I just don’t care anymore. Their comments have become incredibly political and out of touch. Ashley is always one-upping Rayna and it just makes me sad - I.e. Rayna talking about becoming an aunt for the first time and Ashley HAD TO refocus the conversation back on herself😔 I’ve been making comments to my husband lately about how It’s been harder and harder to listen to your show. A show that used to bring me so much joy and laughter and now just makes me cringe and question why I’m spending my time listening. Maybe if the podcast content turns around, I’d be a religious listener again. Taking this, and many others, constructive feedback and making changes MAKES YOU BETTER - please try and do that 🙏🏼

I listened from day one. A friend was a guest, so I went back and started from the beginning after his appearance, but quit about six months ago. I always used to root for Rayna. Not only is she leagues funnier than Ashley - the alleged “comedian” - but she’s clearly a nicer person also. Ashley has become absolutely insufferable and needs to be humbled. That unearned ego needs major checking. Bragging constantly about her wealth and her total sham of a relationship that absolutely no one would ever envy? Gross. Goodbye and good luck. You’ll need it sooner than you think.

There’s a way to respectfully talk about God and politics, while expressing your beliefs, and unfortunately these hosts don’t have that tact. Bummed to have to unfollow and finally quit listening after many years of giving it “another chance” knowing I used to enjoy the escapism and advice.

I’ve listened for many years. Even as a Christian I’ve found them funny and easy listening for long car rides but not anymore. See ya, never.

I’ve been a loyal listener of GGE for years, but in the immortal words of Donald Trump: Ashley, you’re fired. It’s a shame, really, because Rayna is now guilty by association. The podcast has been on a downhill spiral for the past year, largely thanks to Ashley’s newfound hypocrisy. She talks out of both sides of her mouth about relationships, and now that she’s engaged, suddenly she’s the oracle of romance. Evolving is one thing, but acting like a know-it-all while clearly knowing very little? Pass. To make matters worse, Ashley’s foray into political commentary has been a colossal misstep. Her left-leaning diatribes are more out of touch than a flip phone at a tech convention. Read the room, Ashley—America isn’t buying what you’re selling. With every episode, her voice becomes less of a podcast and more of a chore. Unsubscribed.

Ive been to two live shows and a listener since 2020. I have binged every episode and I have seen an ebb and flow of the quality of show. I do like that they speak out against Trump and anyone offended by that can stay crying. Cause we all know who the real snow flakes are. My only feedback is they need to cut their partnership with Kim Kardashian and Skims. Kim came out supporting Trump and now more than ever we need to back up our beliefs with our pocket books. Keep fighting the good fight

Ashley is insufferable. Always trying to one up Rayna. Always claiming to have come up with ideas YEARS before the rest of the world. Ughhh Birkins are “so gross” and I’ve known since 2001. Hun you’re silly. If you were able to get one you would. Also stop posting “fashion.” You don’t have a fashionable bone in your body. Everyone trolls you. And sis don’t worry about that comedy special. I haven’t laughed at anything you’ve said-ever.

I’ve listened in and off for years. Coming back to the pod recently. It’s A LOT of talk. Without any direction. It’s extremely long. I fast forward through most of it. Not sure what’s changed but it’s just not hitting like it once did.

I am a long time listener (I actually think I’ve listened to every episode?!) and it is so fun to see how Rayna and Ashley have grown and evolved. I’m in my mid-30s and was single for a long time before getting into a relationship in 2024 and no matter my relationship status I’ve found the podcast to be fun, entertaining, and relatable. I recently went to the live show in Boston and had such a great time!! So many laughs and such a good crowd. I recommend GGE to all my friends!

The snack is enjoyable to listen to; Ash and Rayna are not experts of anything so I prefer to hear their takes on pop culture over relationships and dating.

I don’t mind all the sex talk, but saying if you’re not “woke” you’re racist is the definition of painting with a broad brush and the very reason the dems lost the election. Ashley needs a reality check. Look at all the red on the map… would be wise to keep politics out of the discussion.

The sound quality is pretty bad and it’s mostly rambling but there is some potential?

First time listener bc my podcast posted a small sound bite from them and first episode is the Snack talking about Baby Girl and I AM DYYYYYING. Immediate subscribe, like, ALL the things.

Live show in NYC felt lazy and not worth the ticket price. These are talented performers who seemed to be just mailing it in.

They just regurgitate social media comments and pass them off as original hot takes and then giggle hysterically at each other as if they didn’t just plagiarize memes. They had a moment in time but now they are just a social media echo chamber. Content is unoriginal and they’ve lost their creative edge because they think they’re extremely famous now.

Used to be a huge fan and thought the podcast was enlightening and funny! Agree with many of the more recent negative reviews. Will be unfollowing on all accounts based on the new course this podcast has taken in particular the latest episode.

Binged every episode and now I tune in every show! Can’t get enough!! So empowering and knowledgeable! Love you guys!!!

A forever conversation with my best friends!

I was an early fan of GGE and I used to genuinely enjoy listening to this podcast but it’s gone sooooo downhill and i can no longer make it through an entire episode. Ashley is unbearably elitist and condescending towards others, including her co host. Rayna goes along with everything Ashley says and can’t form an original thought. It’s one big echo chamber. They can’t tolerate any views that do not align perfectly with their own and go so far as to belittle and bash their listeners who god forbid might have a different political and socioeconomic background to their own. They have become so unrelatable and out of touch with the views of most regular, working class Americans. Which is laughable coming from two D list podcast hosts with a mid dildo company. P.s. You can be anti-woke culture and not be a racist, Ashley. Touch grass.

Y’all will listen and give praise when Ashley and Rayna spill their guts about life’s most intimate moments - but their political views are where you draw the line? Grow up. Sharing your political views with the masses is equally, if not more, vulnerable than talking about sex, especially in today’s devise, quick-to-cancel climate. (liberals aren’t the only guilty party ;) And given that the new administration’s political agenda LITERALLY has women’s rights regarding sex/choice on the chopping block, there really is no argument that their beliefs aren’t relevant to the shows genre. IT’S A SEX AND DATING PODCAST FOR WOMEN. Not much has changed topic-wise since the show started. If you’re arguing otherwise, maybe you’re the one who needs to take a good look inward and see what’s different. Ashley and Rayna, keep doing what you’re doing. Huge fan of the weekly show and your guests/topics - plus love the addition of the Snack. Can’t wait to see ya in-person soon!

It’s the hypocrisy of their political commentary when their show is on a podcast network run by a man who is openly supports Trump’s agenda and spreads dangerous health misinformation.

If you binge the podcast you begin to notice it, while I always had a different perspective then a few of their opinions, enjoyed the difference. However the last two Male interviews have had very misogynistic and pigeonhole views. The ‘professors’ take on dating is outdated. The fact he needed to reflect any criticism was a flag in itself. Ashley calls women the B word a lot. Enjoyed the listen to a point, but the last couple takes were enough to leave a bad review. Then again one episode they mentioned (paraphrasing) anyone with negative criticism is just miserable. Starts fun but is entering a dangerous path. Didn't mind the political talk, we all have opinions and its great to voice them. Didn't mind the vulgarness, just wanted to point it out for others.
