I really loved listening to this podcast when it came out and I re-listen to it probably more than I should, but Dan’s Vegeta voice is just too funny. I hope one day they’ll bring it back for either original Dragonball or Super

Loved this podcast. As someone who has seen all DB content (some multiple times) I loved hearing their first reactions especially with random knowledge they picked up. They haven’t updated since 2019 and likely won’t pick this back up, but I’m still subscribed due to the low chance of it coming back. It was that good.

Jeff Gerstmann continues to be sneeringly dismissive about everything in life because he thinks it makes him cool. Meanwhile, Dan is annoying and attempting to troll the listener by being willfully obtuse about literally everything. I don’t know why anyone other than Giant Bomb fanboys would listen to this.

Was not expecting to enjoy this as much as I am but these guys are a great listen. Currently seething at the Yamcha disrespect tho

My absolute favorite wrestling podcast. As someone who also discovered DBZ way late in life, I enjoy hearing Jeff and Dan’s reactions and interpretations of the series as they echo and diverge from mine. Just don’t stop at Kai. DB Super will make you love this garbage so much more, and I just have to gear your take on Bio Broly.

This is a good discussion through DBZ, listening to Jeff and Dan become fans and then experts has been fun. This podcast would be great if they would stop the in-depth discussions of Wrestling randomly. I understand early on wrestling helps Dan and Jeff grasp what makes the show good, but there’s a limit.

Hearing these guys slowly become aware of the culture of dragon Ball has been immensely satisfying! Hope they watch the movies next!

This is one of my favorite podcasts! The only sad part is that it will end when they run out of episodes. Reliving these episodes through these guys is an amazing and often hilarious experience!

Very excited for the guys' announcement that they will watch everyone's favorite, GT. But also I genuinely think the Buu saga will be their favorite so far. A ton of whacky stuff. Can't happen soon enough.

I sometimes enjoyed this podcast more than the actual show it’s discussing. This podcast is the most entertaining on my phone. I can’t wait for season 2 and beyond.

I haven't watched the show since I was a child but I can still picture most of the events when these guys run through the plot synopsis of each episode. Two guys poking fun at the ridiculousness that is DBZ!

I watched these a long time ago and because of your podcast, rewatching them now. It’s awesome hearing someone’s thoughts after watching the episodes for the first time. I get a kick out of the attempted impressions. Vegeta’s is hilarious. The closest one you got was goku’s “Vegeta is a daddy?” I’m still catching up on your podcasts, don’t know if you’re going into super or not, but I hope so. Keep up the awesome content........... and take it easy on Yamcha.

From someone who's watched all of DBZ it's interesting to see two people gain a context for the characters and the world from what they have learned earlier through osmosis.

Jeff and Dan are great at recapping their first watch thru DBZ Kai. The podcast make it so fun to watch along with the hosts and see their reactions to the new batch of episodes.

Listening to Jeff and Dan explain what they watched is suprisingly enteraining. I make me laugh on some of my fondest memorys as they explain some great moments in the show. Looking forward to hear how far they go.

If you’re interested in 2 guys acting like they haven’t seen dragon ball z when they have clearly seen dragon ball z then this is your pod.

I’ve never seen an episode of Dragon Ball Z Kai, but the banter between Jeff and Dan flows so well and those guys are endlessly entertaining. I appreciate that two guys have found a way to enjoy something they’ve traditionally been very against, have actively avoided and made fun of (anime). It’s awesome to hear theses duders embrace new things.

For 15 to 20 years, I thought Dragon Ball Z was boring and kinda bad. Listening to this makes me finally understand the appeal of Dragon Ball. The more I listen to this podcast, the more I think I am going to actually try watching DBZ again. .....God dammit......

Great podcast by great people! Yamcha is the best!

Dan and Jeff’s conversations about what goes on in DBZ is pretty funny and reminded me what I loved about the show as a kid. I think it’s interesting to hear about the show from the POV of adults. Every week is another hilarious deconstruction if the insanity of the show. Also, “ass eater”.

Got me to re-watch Dragonball Z which I haven't done since it was on Toonami in the 90's. Watching the condensed version (KAI) seems like the perfect choice.

Two guys who have never seen Dragon Ball Z take a trip together through the latest Kai rendition of the show. It's a journey through the legendary anime through the eyes of two people who don't watch anime. It's surprisingly uplifting, respectfully humorous, and has quickly become the best part of my podcast week.

It’s great listening to Jeff and Dan watching these episodes. You kind of get the best of both worlds, their comedic podcasting + one of the best Anime of all time. Plus I love revisiting these episodes weekly and getting my blu rays out.

So with Dan and Jeff getting into Kai and all the DBZ talk I decided to watch DBZ Original and then listen to what they cut out is super interesting. I love it.

If you grew up watching DBZ like I did listening to these gentlemen(except dan) talk about this anime is a real treat. Even if you didn’t, check it out!

This is a fantastic podcast for someone who wants to watch Dragon Ball who hasn’t seen it since it first aired back in the late 90’s and isn’t a fan of anime. Not taking it seriously and just watching it without having much information about most of the characters and going through it at the same time and Jeff and Dan is really fun! I can’t wait for more episodes and hopefully the schedule could possibly change to a Monday and Friday to bring back feelings of Bombin’ the AM with Scoops and The Wolf!

Two of the funniest guys!

I grew up watching bootleg fansubs of DBZ bought illegally in Chinatown. The spirit of DBZ is manic energy coupled with over the top silliness. Dan and Jeff didn’t grow up watching DBZ or anime, but they get intrinsically what makes Dragonball so much fun to watch. These guys are hilarious, quick on the uptake, and surprisingly insightful. A must listen for old DBZ heads like me.

I remember when Giant Bomb launched, the DBZ game that year was Dimps’s DBZ Burst Limit. Anytime Vinny mentioned that game or DBZ in general on the bombcast, he was met with hostility from the crew. I try not to get fanboy defensive about it, but I never liked it whenever GB derided DBZ because of how much that series has meant to me for decades at this point. With All System’s Goku, I can’t put to words how joyous it is to have two of my favorite things come together. I never cared at all for the Power Bombcast, but All System’s Goku is a podcast that makes me laugh, think, and rediscover the childhood wonder that DBZ brought me so long ago. Cheers to Jeff and Dan. I really hope you guys see this series to the end.

That is a sentence I didn't think I'd ever get to write! I'm so glad they are enjoying and I can't wait to go on the rest of this journey with them!
