Love the podcast, where do we contact you? I have some opinions. Try searching for it online I dare you. I can’t find it.

I used to really enjoy the takes on the show, my favorite parts were the class deep dives with old developers and/or fantastic players who love the game. Lately every episode I’ve listened to has become a litany of complaints with no real solutions and it’s pretty exhausting. I’ve been so excited about playing Wrath but anytime I tune in to listen to supposedly like-minded fans, I leave feeling discouraged and disheartened. Best of luck, I will not be back.

I love the show but you guys did a TERRIBLE job of explaining what’s going on with Firemaw. Like what’s goin on? People are transferring to soon to be retired servers in order to use the free xfer to transfer back to Firemaw or another server? Why? What’s the point? You can take unlimited gold? So what? The initial transfer would have the 5k per character limit AND cost real money. It’s like y’all tried to set up some dramatic story only to never even tell the story. What a mess this episode was. Lol

This is a genuinely great discussion podcast by any standard. The fact that Josh has managed to keep it interesting for years is amazing. The guests are varied and interesting, usually experts in their own field of gameplay. Always happy to see a new episode pop up in my feed. Makes my commute and the gym a lot better.

“I’m a casual, but I have 4 70’s” “Everyone has the best gear and I can’t get anything because I’m not willing to do GDKP, but I don’t know that 2SR or MS>OS exists.” I swear I’ve never heard someone complain so much and shift the narrative to make it seem so bad for himself and ignore 90% of what’s actually happening in TBC. I like the podcast but I’m getting sick of the constant complaining and biased story of the current game.

Great information. Guests are very knowledgeable and respectful of one and others differing opinions. That being said North is seeming more and more like a bully from my prospective. Interrupting and condescending to guests that don’t agree with him. Aside from that all in all great time for classic WoW!

This is a great show. Except for North. He ruins every episode he’s on. Would be five stars otherwise.

I have a lot of love and respect for Josh and the dedication he puts into each and every show. Every episode is filled with sage advice and tips, as well as interesting and knowledgeable guests. He is very good with asking questions to keep the topics going. I’ve been listening to his show for over a year now and I look forward to each episode and even go back and listen to some of his past shows since they are that good. Highly recommended for any world of Warcraft fan.

There’s so much to look forward to with this podcast: - nostalgia - information - humorous stories Honestly I look forward to listening to this podcast every week. There’s never much of a dull moment. Josh is phenomenal at facilitating conversation and asking open ended questions that result in interesting, pointed, and expansive answers. The interviews with developers are my favorite segments. However, even when he has an ordinary conversation, it’s still worth listening to. Josh does a great job building chemistry with his guests, and his guests likewise clearly put effort into being on the show. I love listening to Countdown, even though there’s nothing left to countdown! Keep killing it josh, absolutely love hearing your podcast!

Josh does an awesome job on this podcast. He’s funny, entertaining, and keeps the conversations going. Enjoy that the humor he has and other guests also can be enjoyed by an older audience like myself. He has amazing guests and topics. He has John Staats on frequently, however less as of late. And one of the best listens out there. Hope he can get him on some more after a large dose of him over the last few months

The gold standard for wow podcasts and classic podcasts. The format focuses on round table discussion with users, interviews, and stories. The show goes DEEP and keeps hardcore fans as well as those just curious about vanilla happy. Josh also has a golden voice and his ‘I’m a casual’ approach makes him the joe Rogan of wowcasts. An average player who’s simply curious about the game- and without all the pomp and circumstance. Keep grinding so to speak josh. We’re listening.

Josh does an awesome job and has new episodes up regularly. The podcast is engaging, entertaining and informative. It’s even created a community full of listeners who often converse on the discord. If you’re interested in WoW Classic then this is the podcast for you.

Extremely professional, well thought out show. Format is very good, best wow podcast, regardless of if the topic is classic or current wow.

The Countdown To Classic podcast is an amazingly well done show that balances nostalgia out with the carrot-on-a-stick for the upcoming Classic WoW. Josh doesn’t shy away from having long episodes which makes each interview feel relaxed and not rushed. Josh is also humble to admit that he isn’t the best gamer which makes for fantastic in-depth analysis by his guests. My one critique is that Josh claims to be from Australia, but I’ve never heard him say the C-word on the show (and I’ve listened to every episode). Look buddy, you can pretend to have an accent all you want, but until you start casually throwing around the C-word no one is going to believe you.

As a current retail fan with 12,000 recorded hours on WoW since getting my own account, I can for sure say that this podcast has made me want to revisit my roots. Wonderful analyses with many intriguing (and surprisingly not inherently anti-retail guests majority of the time), this show has the perfect balance of recounting the legends of vanilla without putting down us retail players.

This show takes you places deep into vanilla wow. it’s a great source of information regarding everything classic. The dev interviews really open up a side of the gaming industry rarely seen. The class overviews are a great in depth look on mechanics and individual play style. I really liked the one on warriors as I plan to main one when classic drops. If you’re thinking about being involved in anything classic wow related give this podcast a listen, you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been constantly impressed with Josh’s ability to put out top quality content on a regular basis. This is the best World of Warcraft podcast out there. Keep up the great work!

I’m technically deficient but I’m doing my best as a late Baby Boomer and just love your show. I’m not playing now as I await the release next summer. Might jump in early to look at dungeons and reacquaint myself. Catching up from recent to original shows of yours. This time I hope to raid and fully develop a character as i never maxed until BC. Your casts give me hope that my mediocre play is okay. Thanks for sucking and I hate to brag but I believe I’m worse. I do have a question about the game. I’m playing a new class and race and leaning toward NE Druid. Quick question is will Druid forms be the same as before? Just one cat best, travel, etc per race? Thanks in advance. I listen to podcasts all day at my work and was getting bored with other casts I have been listen to. Then I found this podcast a couple weeks ago and have loved it ever since. I haven’t played WOW since the Lich King and have been dying to get back to it. This podcast has made the thought of return even more prevalent. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK JOSH!!!!

Josh does a great job of steering the line between the different viewpoints of what classic should be. Has a wide selection of different sections (memories, lore, content etc) that are all relevant to the discussion. As a player who gave up on the game in Cata, this pod is getting me excited again.

This podcast is obviously pro-classic/vanilla, but is always even handed in how it handles the rivalry with modern (often called retail) wow. Fights in the forums, lore, and even an episode of the economy are just examples of the great content.

Love the classic wow podcast. Josh is pleasant to listen to and always provides two sides of any argument. Great content! Addicted.

Lore has always been my favorite part of World of Warcraft, and I really enjoy the approach to lore this podcast takes. It doesn’t hurt to hear it with Josh’s lovely accent!
