Climate change with a feminist solution! Super!
This is a great show with so much to offer. I learn a lot each episode, and it makes me a better citizen of the world. The emphasis on feminist solutions to problems borne of capitalism and colonialism is inspiring. As a male listener in a wealthy, western country, I am humbled and inspired by the stories shared in this pod. We can all do more to help the world, but every little action can help. Plus, Maeve and Mary's accents are really delightful to listen to.

    REQUIRED LISTENING!! 💖
Listening to this absolutely amazing group of ‘Mothers’ is always treat. Surprisingly hilarious! The episode after the 2020 American election made me burst into happy tears just at the sheer audacity of positivity and imagination these inspiring people brought to my anxiety-addled brain. Great for kids too!

    An incredible podcast
The premise is strong; through highlighting the efforts people are undertaking, the innovative ways of dealing with climate change, and emphasizing the multi-dimensional influence and impact of it. Mary Robinson and Maeve Higgins are a great vehicle for credibility and accessibility.

    Very thorough, in-depth discussions
I’m from Mongolia, this podcast has helped me to be confident, made me realize I have enough potential to roll out critical projects. Selecting speakers with diverse background is I believe what makes this podcast even more unique. Hopefully 1 day I will meet both of you. I suggest organizing meet up event somewhere in the world.

At times, hard to listen to
As many of the reviewers before me, I absolutely fell in LOVE with this podcast!! The content is amazing, every episode is so interesting, and the production quality is great. I loved the first season and love the dynamic between Mary and Maeve. Though at times, I found Mary to be a bit to harsh with Maeve. In the contexts of culture however, perhaps I’m just too sensitive. But in season 2, I find it hard to get through episodes as Mary interrupts every guest. It seems as though they cannot get a statement out without Mary questioning them. I understand they’re on a time crunch but it’s gotten to be kind of rude.

The podcast I’ve been waiting for
Climate change and the environment aren’t always easy subjects to talk about and this podcast does an excellent job of balancing educational discourse with entertaining relatability. If this subject matters to you and you’ve been looking for an engaging, conversational format to stay informed, I highly recommend.

Entertaining, empowering stories that aren’t covered elsewhere
If you’re interested in climate change and want to hear stories about people who are making a real impact, told in an engaging, entertaining way, listen to this podcast. It’s super well-done and the hosts play very well off each other. I really enjoyed the plastics episode.

    Cross generational positivity
Season 2 Episode 1 interviews a thirteen year old girl who is organizing a school strike for climate justice in New York City. Hearing the three generations of women encourage and inspire each other left me in a cloud of positivity all day.

    Eye opening
Came here after hearing Maive on Judge John Hodgman (comedy podcast). I have been hooked ever since. This show manages to balance the seriousness and urgency of climate change with hope and inspiration that the human race will survive, if we take action.

    Refreshingly optimistic
Mary and Maeve have put together a delightful and informative podcast that features amazing guests from around the world that you won’t encounter elsewhere (mostly because their guests are often women of color and President Mary Robinson has unusual access to them). We all know that climate change is dire and discussions about it are usually pessimistic, so this podcast gives us a wonderful chance to listen to stories of positive change and communities taking power into their own hands. Keep it up! I can’t wait for the next season. Thank you!

    Inspiring and so Informative
This show is incredible! I love the mission, the two hosts and their banter, and the inspirational women at the heart of each episode’s story. Please keep making this podcast! So much to learn

    Galvanizing. Can’t wait for more!
Such a good listen for these times—I listened to all the episodes in the aftermath of the release of the IPCC report. Mary and Maeve do such a good job of explaining things fully and clearly, without condescension, across an array of topics. I love all the people they talk to, a diverse and inclusive mix of ages, nationalities, genders, and backgrounds. They are ace at showing the scale of what needs to be done (not just “make sure you recycle”) while not discouraging the listener. More, please!

    I love Maeve and Mary
I have never loved two hosts more. Maeve and Mary’s conversations are down to earth, their guests are fantastic, and, while the issue of climate change is grave, they make so much room for hope. I already can’t wait for Series 2! Sincerely, Olivia from Los Angeles, CA

Must get another season - love it!!!
Perfect blend of comedy and an active look at climate justice and solutions (if enough people do them!). Amazing guests. This is a necessary podcast for our times. I just started listening after hearing Maeve Higgins promote it on How to Be Amazing, really hope it gets a next season.

    Why is Mary so mean?!?
Maeve is lovely, why is Mary so mean to her? I mean, Maeve is a good sport about it, and I know Irish people are meaner to each other than us earnest Americans are, but it’s so uncomfortable to hear a former president make fun of a comedian — but not in a funny way, in a mean way.

I listen to every episode. That's rare.
This has such a surprising combination of substance, humor, deep insight, and inspiration. Not easy given the topic. But somehow they pull it off. And the co-hosts are an unlikely pair - a young comedian and an elder stateswoman. They work well together, though. And it's so refreshing to hear and older and wiser voice on a podcast.

    Need Hope?
This is such an uplifting podcast. International work done by women to save our planet.

    Wonderful
It may seem like an “eat your vegetables” virtue signaling duty to listen to this podcast, but even as a man with a large carbon footprint I was won over by this charming podcast. Maeve and Mary have such great voices and rapport. An optimistic and happy listen.

    Good start
I am very interested in how we might fight and/or adapt to climate change. The first episode was very well done and informative. Good start.

    So impressed.
The intersecting topics of women, climate, and justice are complex. The art of this podcast is honoring that complexity, while bringing elegant simplicity to it. It’s brilliant, inspiring, and fun. Will be devouring season one!

    Gender and sustainabilty
