The Freemasons Podcast

203
Philosophy #177

A podcast from the members of various lodges in Connecticut discussing a variety of topics including esoteric Masonry, symbolism, and conspiracy theories. Topics are from the point of view of actual Freemasons and not the uninitiated. The hosts are younger brothers who are kings at breaking each other’s stones, however the mix of banter and education show that while Masons take their Freemasonry seriously, they are also regular men. Come hang out and drink some beers with us while we dive into not so squared actions. Hosted by Right Worshipful Brother George Mudry and co-hosted by Worshipful Brothers Joe Zannino and Ken Tarwood. VIVAT!!

    Great view of Freemasonry
Thank you for taking the time to balance your views and experiences within Freemasonry with the nonsense that attracts many Americans these days. While I have to admit you are a little “rough around the edges” your passion for truth, growth and what amounts to Patriotism is evident in the Podcast. Please keep up the good work.

    Awesome podcast
Was raised May 2023 and immediately began seeking more light. Found your podcast. Fills the need for when I want something more casual. Went back to beginning and listened to all episodes in order before leaving review which I never doubted would be a 5 star. Since then became a Shriner and in December plan to enter Scottish Rite. Keep up the awesome work. Allan Koontz, Junior Deacon Lessing Lodge 464 F&AM Hadi Shriners Evansville IN

    Phenomenal podcast
It took me a whole year to finish this podcast, now I'm wondering what I'm doing with my life. I need a hobby or something, so I became a mason and got my MM degree in February 2024. This podcast has helped me more than most, and I can relate to all four of you - pale like Ken, zen like Joe, illiterate like George, and love mischief like the puppet. Cheers, brothers! Hello to all of The Freemasons Podcast!! 1st I want to say THANK YOU for the great entertainment and knowledge you guys put out. As of Dec 29th 2023 I’ve been a MM for a yr and just elected as the SW. I’ve gathered many topics for lectures and ideas to better the community work we do in our area in NC. Much love to you all and I look forward to meeting all you brothers one day. To Brother George Oorah and Semper Fi Also, any advice for a SW with little time in masonry?

    Awesome Show
Came to this podcast looking for information about Freemasonry. What I found was a funny, laid back, informative podcast, with guys just like me. In just a few episodes all my questions were answered. The fun, laughter, and brotherhood that these men share while explaining freemasonry and issues surrounding the craft makes this a fun and entertaining podcast. Thank to the Freemasons Pocast my petition has been submitted.

    Podcast is great
Podcast is fantastic as someone who has recently became a mason and someone who is into the esoteric and occult this podcast is a great listen however the intro music is terrible lol glad there’s a fast forward button

    One of the best
One of my all time favorite Podcasts! The podcast is a perfect balance of comedy and information. The podcast is not one of those that makes you feel as if you are sitting in a lecture. It is like sitting around with old friends enjoying a good conversation. As a widow, it has been really helpful to listen to the podcast on my commute and at home; hearing friends having fun really helps. The information that I have gotten on the show has led me to pursue a masonic path and I hope to be able to call you Brothers in the near future. If ever I am in your area, drinks are on me. James

Just Found out my iMac and my iPhone are different logins
Title says it all. I left a review a long long long time ago singing the joys of such a wonderful, insightful, and fun podcast, although using a much simpler vernacular. They’ve matured nicely over the years and have come a long way from that elusive first episode, which I hear can be found on the Patron for as little as five bucks a month. So grab a broken chair, a nice bowl of chili, and fire up that magical sound box and prepare to learn something new.

    Sitting in the East
I sat in the East for the first time recently, Sebasticook #146 (Maine), and if I hadn’t mentally prepared by binge listening to all 245 episodes of The Freemason Podcast - I may have actually remembered my degree work. On a positive note, I may have forgotten some of the words, but I made it from Open to Close with no Goats harmed in my Travels. Vivat Vivat Vivat! - Bro. JW McCaslin Keep up the great work Brothers!

    Amazing!
My mentor and the brother that got my foot in the door showed me your podcast, and I have listened to every episode as I have taken this great journey! With the knowledge I gain from the show and him I have now passed my F.C proficiency, and have decided to petition our chapter of the widows sons and a few other paths. Thank you for the knowledge you give!! Great show informative and entertaining. Skyler

    Hilarious and informative
As an EA I was searching for more on the subject. I found this podcast and I can’t stop listening to it. Very informative, motivating, and most of all, hilarious. I see these guys as mentors, growing younger masons such as myself, into better men and tradition of the craft. Keep up the good work and F Alex Jones.

Hands down the realest podcasts for free Masonic information
I’ve been listening to this podcast for a year or so. Even now with them just being downright lazy lately, I still look forward to the next episode to drop. RWB George (although small in stature, and not knowing words so well) is a wealth of free Masonic knowledge. And his passion for the craft, and baking cookies in a tree is infectious. WB joe (being a soulless ginger) has a huge heart for his fellow man, and embodies what freemasonry truly teaches. Just follow the two rules. WB Ken even though he turned a computer into an improvised explosive device and tried to kill the other two, I would still say he is one of the coolest robots the government ever built. If you want to get some info and education on freemasonry in a way that feels like your sitting around the dinner table at lodge, busting your brothers balls (as we do) this is the podcast for you. And join patreon and discord for only $3 dollars a month you too can meet the nicest group of teddy bears on this earth. Gang green will greet you with hugs and kisses as soon as you open the door. And maybe you’ll even get that ever elusive freemasons podcast pin some time in 2043. WB Adam Brooks

    Amazing Masonic podcast!
I am a long time listener and member of Discord. I thought I had reviewed a long time ago. I have been a listener for two years and a Discordian for almost as long. The fellowship and charity in this group is second to none. The information is top rate. You won’t need any other Masonic podcasts.
  • Andyman......lol
Absolutely Fantastic podcast!!! Also FANTASTIC experience (especially on discord!)
Started listening to the podcast a couple months ago and joined discord and Patreon soon after. Great group of Brothers to interact with (and accepting of absolutely everybody, even this one guy who got mad because he didn’t follow the rules for fantasy football and got disqualified and decided to take petty pot shots at the podcast!). Seriously these guys are fantastic and a great source of entertainment and knowledge for a brand new MM like me!
  • Noodaltron
    Top Notch Show
I’ve been a fan and listener for over a year now, and a discord/Patreon member on and off due to financial issues. I can attest to a few things. 1. These guys LOVE the craft, and represent the middle cross-section of regular fellas who want to grow, improve, and have a little fun. 2. The discord community is even more diverse. I’ve received great information and motivation for my Masonic journey from great men and brothers all around the world. And 3. “A midget, a robot, a ginger, and a puppet walk into a bar” isn’t just the start to a terrible joke, but something that has actually happened. Keep it up brothers, here’s s big Yehaw from Texas. Drinks on me next time you’re in Fort Worth Area. You know who I am.
  • Tacoman773
    Love your Podcast!
Thank you brothers for helping to reach a wider audience. I’m a FC at Glen Burnie Lodge 213 in MD and you podcast helps to explain and fill in gaps that are not necessarily fully explained along the way. Thank you all brothers!

    Great guys.
Always great conversation and different topics then you would normally think of. I really appreciate the back and forth and debating some topics if someone has a different view. But very informative and never pretending to know everything. They seem like a great group of guys I’d like to share a beer with. They’ve definitely helped me make the decision to become a member. I’ve reached out to a few lodges waiting to hear back from at least one of them. I really appreciate the show and what they do. Don’t go anywhere.

    Anticipation is high
I started listening to this podcast because a friend of mine encouraged me to find out as much as I can before I begin my journey. I started back at the beginning of the podcast to keep learning as I await my petition to be brought up at my local lodge in a few short days. I love the balance of banter and education this podcast brings. I look forward to learning more as I work through the episodes! -Dakota Goff

    Light heart yet very informative
You guys made up my mind on becoming a mason, I did try starting my journey by asking to visit my local lodge and ask questions. met up with them, asked what i wanted to ask and got to know them and them me. great brotherly fellowship and i had so much fun. right now i am going through legal stuff with traffic tickets. i came clean about everything and told them the truth, they appreciated the honesty about my past. i am currently working on taking care of it all and then putting in the petition they gave me. wish me luck with this journey, it’ll teach me patience that’s for sure. one of them said something to me that stuck with me, “we don’t make perfect men better, we make good men better. we all have a past.” appreciate y’all
  • Leroy415
    Fun and informative
Enjoyable and doesn’t make me want to automatically delete the podcast, good to know other seekers are out there . even though it looks like the Masons don’t have an answer to this puzzle planet. Hello Sunshine.

    Awesome Podcast!!!
I am a new MM in Massachusetts and this podcast has helped me so much in my learning. Great topics of discussion on so many subjects. As well, so much humor in these Brothers. Just love it. And you do not have to be a MM to enjoy this show, in fact, if you are curious about Masonry, this is a great place to start. Love the history episodes too. Cheers! I love the podcast, you guys not only made me feel welcome but helped immensely on “fears” of making a life long obligation. I learned that not only was I extremely ignorant on what being a Freemason is all about but it is something I’m going to commit to for the rest of my life. Please keep up the good work. Take a shot in favor of good health and great teachings. Y’all earned it.

Thoroughly enjoy this. So much great information and education presented in a way that’s not dry or boring. Really like the in house fact checkers on the content.

Started listening about six months ago. I drive a lot and have gone back and listened to all of the past episodes. Now I find myself waiting for the new episodes. Perfect balance!
Started listening as an EA back in July (just raised in October). Finally made it through everything up to current! This podcast strikes a perfect balance between after lodge fellowship/shenanigans, and interesting education. I can’t count how many times I’ve gone back to my lodge with, “so I heard something on this podcast…” Whether it’s an idea for community involvement, to keeping brothers coming back, to fascinating (mostly factual) history, there’s something for everyone. I still have the new guy zeal for the craft, but y’all help keep the fire burning, while helping me remember to say “no” sometimes. Thanks for everything y’all are doing! And holler if y’all are ever in Oklahoma! - Cameron, Yukon Lodge #90, Yukon, OK

Hello from Ohio, I’ve been listening for alittle while since i joined freemasonry back in Jan of 2021. Absolutely love this podcast and is the only one I’m excited to see the notifications about a new episode. Being a truck driver and traveling all the time really makes me appreciate you guys bringing up subjects or ideas to talk about that people wouldn’t think of. Definitely recommending you to a lot of brothers i meet over the road. I ask for a toast to you three and you can include puppet George lol
