    Reflexes
I listened to this podcast for the first time and I happen to be sending my son to a therapist who is helping with retained reflexes and sensory processing. After 6 weeks of rhythmic movement many of his reflexes are integrated and things are better. This is not a cure-all but a seeable improvement. If I had it all to do over again, would start with this therapy before starting others. I feel that years OT and vision therapy were barely helpful because we were fighting these reflexes. I hope the other therapies will be more effective when reflexes are integrated. This episode focused a lot on explaining the concept and talking about babies. Would love to hear more about dealing with older kids. Also, wish pediatricians learned about this to encourage C-section moms to be aware. Also, need health insurance companies educated because this therapy is usually not covered. I’ve heard that Brain Balance is $10k upfront. Luckily our therapist charges per session but still not cheap.
