I am a fan of Claire Ridgway. She was one of the first historians I listened to and enjoyed . It’s how I was introduced to Gareth Russel, for one.!There were so many talks about the Tudor world that I have enriched my history journey. I’ve watched and enjoyed her cooking from Tudor recipes. This latest delightful dip into the Tudor pool about Ann Herbert was fascinating. Is there more to explore? Claire describes with emotion the sad fate of my beloved Anne Boleyn. I have all her books. I proudly wear her merch tee shirt and the Tudor rose pin. I’ve been an Anne Boleyn lover since before the internet. Eric Ives books are beside me always and too many others spill from my bookcase. Bravo Claire!

There are lots of amazing Tudor historians and podcasters out there, but I’ve never found anyone who approaches the topic with Claire’s particular blend of detail, passion, and approachability. (I mean… providing content DAILY for years?? Incredible!) I’ve learned so much — and no matter how grisly the topic, Claire’s voice is always soothing and satisfying to listen to.
