Donno! You are the Best! My first podcast every day! Most current and complete Canes information. Please limit Bruce to Tuesdays only; he is ruining the vibe and message of your podcast.

I never want to hear that intro song again. I don’t want to hear your little teaser and then hear you’re a alumnus and longtime whatever. Just give it up. Start talking. Stop telling us to keep it locked and there’s a lot coming up before every as break. The script is way too boilerplate for how little actual content there is per episode.

Just discovered this podcast at the end of the 2023-2024 football season and have been an everyday listener ever since! Mostly listen to the podcast side because of my work schedule but absolutely love this pod. Dono is always great and informative! FYI I became a Canes fan because of the ESPN 30/30 documentary on the U.

This show makes it extremely easy to keep up with news being as busy as I have been recently. Coming from Georgia it’s hard to keep watching the home team win and not the hurricanes,especially since I wasn’t born until after all the u’s success.So thank you Donno for helping with that. Alex is the man. His tagline is “keep it locked to Locked on Canes” and that’s exactly what I’ve done since finding his show. Not only does Donno work his butt off to consistently bring us great info, you can tell that he is just a good hearted dude. Listening to his show is like having a good friend on the inside with all of the real news going on. It takes real talent for these guys to be able to bring us content daily, especially during dead periods and off seasons but Donno does it with ease. In my opinion, it’s the best Canes podcast out there. It’s very well produced and well written. Not a jab at David and Gabby but if I have to listen to David read the Star Horton commercial one more time, I’m going to have a mental breakdown. We need Donno to mentor some of these other guys and help them with their advertisements 😂 Donno is top notch at every level. Subscribing to the subtext has been a great investment. You know how throughout the day while you’re working and your wife or gf is constantly texting you and complaining about having to run to Home Depot or to the grocery store or the kids need this or that or I need you to do this when you get home… well now, sometimes when a text message comes in, it’s Donno bringing me good news about the Canes and it helps even out the level of stress. First off this is crazy but I know Alex will understand. I want to give a shout out to my wife Holly. She has had to deal with my obsession for 25 years now of living “The U”. She has not had to many of the good times. More of me sitting on the couch on a Saturday evening feeling destroyed. But If you love the Canes minute by minute. Alex is your guy. You can have a fellow Cane to enjoy the highs and drink away the lows daily. Not only does he do a great job researching,, but he bleeds orange and green. He is the USPostal service of the podcast world. He does a show if it’s storming outside, no AC, Sick or at 7:30 at night after a commitment from a player. He is not a daily guy but I am pretty sure he has done over 9 to 10 a week doing official visit commits. He doesn’t sleep or eat anything but Built bars. His wife makes the sacrifice of him always on his phone responding to the new text app. Also just a side note his legs look great in Birddogs. So if you want someone to figuratively walk into the fire of a Hurricanes season. He is your guy. BIGCANESFAN out.

You can almost always count on him 7 days a week and some weeks clock in at over 10 episodes during season and when recruiting starts heating up.
