I love this podcast. Very entertaining for murder mystery buffs.

I love their other podcast (the escape room one) and was really hoping that this would be similarly enjoyable but after going through one arc I’ve come to realize that I have a tolerance threshold for the silliness and goofing around they do (which I’m sure is precisely the reason why others love this podcast). Escape this Podcast for me had the right amount of that. This on the other hand was way over that limit for me. Unfortunate because I thought the actual mystery was well designed and this format totally works, and like I said I love the other podcast. I had to first put this into 2x speed, then even that felt still unbearable so I resorted to turn on the transcript of the episode, flipping and reading through so I finished the arc. I don’t know why there’s such a difference in terms of experience for me, I’ve loved all the times they guest on other podcasts I listen to too…but I guess just the two of them by themselves apparently leads to a level that is not personally enjoyable for me.

Great googaly moogaly I’ve been listening to this episode for 25 minutes and it’s been nothing but nonsensical yapping. Please less yapping more solving murders.

I was trying to find a cool murder podcast that didn’t involve actual people dying horrific deaths and making me feel guilty that I found entertainment through their demise. And boy, did this podcast deliver. Bill and Dani write engaging mysteries and have a TON of fun solving them. 10/10 recommend. Then check out their other stuff because they’re awesome.

Love this podcast (and Dani and Bill)! The original murder mysteries that they come up with are fantastic and I love trying to piece it out along with the detectives! I even enjoy listening to them going through the reworked classics like Poe and Christie. Also get a jolt of excitement when a new episode drops and struggle with the competing desires to wait for them all to come out listen to them all at once or listen to them immediately!

This is a podcast I began listening to based on a recommendation from the Yule brothers on their podcast, “Finish It”. It has a lovely energy and sense of humor, which is key because nothing is as dreary as listening to people take fictional crime solving too seriously. Highly recommend!!

I am obsessed with Bill & Dani! They are such a fun duo, and create the most interesting and funny content. I’m always so impressed by their writing abilities and role playing.

I only recently started listening to podcasts and even more recently discovered YOUR podcast. I have been a fan of Agatha since junior high school. It is such a relief to find someone who shares my obsession and who actually cares enough to dig into these stories to the degree even beyond my own. I find your commentary so thoughtful and the best part is your podcast allows me to re-experience these stories I read and loved so long ago. I am now almost as addicted to your podcast as I have always been to Christie’s works.

I love this podcast all of the twist and turns. My favorite was Body on the Beach and it was also the first one I listened to. Now I have listen to all of them and they are amazing.

I cannot even remember how I found this but it is so much fun and I get so excited when they put out another mystery :).

Bill and Dani are such a funny creative couple and I love the energy they have together. Dani’s a fantastic writer that always leaves you guessing until the last episode, and once Bill gets the hang of the differences in solving a murder vs. solving an escape room he’s great to follow! (Also check out their escape the room podcasts they’re amazing as well) Definitely recommend for anyone who loves puzzles and mysteries, or even anyone who’s looking for something new ☺️

These folks are so fun. I like that they are constantly retooling the podcast for improvement. Be patient with the style ( and if you can’t, skip forward to the last 3-4 episodes, where Bill has an epiphany about his solving style versus Dani’s writing style that really improves the way episodes work. Could they add some soundtrack? Sure. Would it be great to hear other voices sometimes? Maybe. Are they two people putting together top notch fiction for free in a gig economy where they are probably doing 10000 other things at the same time? YES. Cut them some slack, pitch them some ideas, and enjoy their gift!

This is such a fun show. When I listened to it at first, as an American, I had a hard time getting into it. It is worth sticking with it, though. I love the hosts so much. Listen to the escape podcast too!

Way to much chit chat and un important conversation between the narrators. Not pod cast material. Find another venue!!

This podcast is a blast! It’s so much fun to follow alongside Bill as he works to solve the mysteries! His appeal lies in his relatability; struggling along side of him is half the fun. There are plenty of other podcasts where I can listen to experts methodically solve cases—and what they do is amazing—but listening to this is like playing a game with your friends. I find it so addictive I have to wait until the end of an arc to start listening so I can play it straight through :) Keep up the good work, guys! Dani, between this and EtP, I’m in awe of your creative, vivid imagination!!

Really fun and surprisingly intricate. These folks have what it takes to write a good detective story. And though I love the Australian accent, the thing this podcast needs most is more voices for the setting.

I’m loving this podcast so far. The stories are so creative and original, and the vibe is suspenseful yet funny—a great combo! I haven’t found another show quite like it (except perhaps their other podcast).

Dani writes such well crafted stories, I'm enjoying listening to this just as much as Escape This Podcast. It must be a challenge for Bill to try to be both entertaining and focused on solving the mystery, and even as he occasionally struggles he's having a good time with silly character voices and jokes. A fun listen!

Absolutely love this show! Dani writes very compelling and surprising mysteries and Bill detectives his way through to solving them. Great fun to play along and guess who the murderer is along the way. Lots of fun twists and turns, I’ve been stumped every time, while still feeling fully satisfied with the explanation. Definitely worth listening!

Very fun and funny! Bill and Dani are great (which shouldn't come as a surprise to listeners of Escape This Podcast). I especially enjoy how much fun Bill has digging into the details of the case without overly stressing about how to make his King-of-Police detective character another Poirot-level genius.

A great podcast where one host (Dani) creates a murder mystery and the second host (Bill)attempts to figure it out over the span of a few episodes. I’ve loved listening the hosts figure out the pacing, they are a great duo. I look forward to a future where they might bring in guests, because it’s always better to have a second brain. Off to download this weeks episode.

This is a great mystery podcast for any aspiring detective. The fenale host take you through a murder from beginning to end while the male host plays the detective working out how to solve it. It’s really fun to try and piece it together myself and see if I can figure it out for myself before the end. Well worth listening too, I look forward to each episode!

It's clear that Dani puts a lot of work into these and tries to cover every angle Bill could chose to come at it from! Like the other reviews say, it IS sometimes obvious that Bill is new at this, but even over just 3 arcs he's improved and it's so muc fun to play along with.

A very clever podcast where you can try to solve a mystery before the player-detective does. So far the mysteries have been fair; all the clues are there. The two hosts have a great rapport and are fun to listen to. Give it a try!

I really love this spin off series from the Escape this Podcast team. The mysteries are compelling and the writing is wonderful. I love coming up with my own theories as the show unfolds, I’ve almost got the last two right (so close!). The creators are delightful and talented. I can’t recommend this podcast enough.

Idea and Murder puzzles are great. There can be a lot more improvements with bill and his detective work. Either bring someone else that can do better detective work or watch some movies that help improve bill. Also maybe switch roles and have the girl try to solve the Murder instead.

Great chemistry, charming, Good pace, but sooo quiet. Needs a little music or like, location sounds or more people like a role playing game. Feels...like it is missing something.

This is an amazing podcast and it’s not just a repeat of what every other podcast is doing! Dani creates elaborate and incredible stories with well thought out puzzles and clues and Bill plays the part of us! I love that Bill feels relatable, I’m certainly not a cop, so him having perfect investigative skills to solve a murder in 20 minutes wouldn’t be very fun to me. He isn’t Sherlock Holmes! I love being able to follow along and make my guesses.

Great podcast, Dani does a great job of creating the mystery and I’m right along with Bill in his frustration at trying to solve it! They have good chemistry and are very funny as well. Can’t wait for the next batch!

This was such a great idea and it is very interesting however the “directive” could probably go back to school and learn a few investigation techniques before the next episode.

This is a clever idea, and it’s clear the crime and related details are well thought out. Both hosts are appealing and have a good chemistry, but tbh, although the female host is well informed and focused, the guy is a bit random and doesn’t know what to ask about the crime. This makes it frustrating to sit there and listen to him, knowing there are obvious leads to follow and questions to ask, while he just stumbles along. I have to wonder why he’s involved in such a podcast because he seems to have no familiarity with a crime scenario and even basic crime solving procedures. Maybe he’ll improve over time which would be good because i really want this podcast to succeed but I’m not sure I have the patience.

I can’t wait for more, escape this podcast and this are amazing. Keep up the amazing work y’all!
