I’ve listened to a ton of photography podcasts and John’s style, voice, and thorough knowledge of the subject matter make his podcast an easy go-to. He’s friendly to guests, a great listener, and doesn’t bombard the listener with corny segments or sound effects. You learn things and come away feeling refreshed with a smile on your face—like having coffee with a good friend who happens to have great advice. May I suggest listening while editing pictures?

I love the casual feel of this Podcast. It feels full, educational, fun, and busy without a snobby feel or feeling overwhelmed. It is conversational which makes it nice to listen to when you really want something to entertain you and feel your brain! I love it!

Only on episode 3 but really enjoyed the talked about creating a brand. I’m a fairly new photographer but being able to narrow my the style down to portraiture has helped me acquire clients and not take on shoots too early that would be out of my comfort zone. I feel like being passionate about my work helps me to create better shoots!

Love listening to this podcast live! There’s too much extra chatter for me to go back and listen to them when I am trying to pull out the meat of the conversation, but that is all personal preference!!
