I love this show, the banter, add in their lilt, I could just listen to them complain to each other for the entire episode. Seriously. Listen and enjoy.

This show hits so good. All the characters are so fun and the story line is really good. Thanks Paul Walsh for giving us this gem. Not that you will fill the roll but what are the chances we can get Kieran back for season 5?

Season 3 episode 2. “There was a ferret anus on my face last night.” I had to pause the episode because I couldn’t stop giggling at this line. I started listening about a week ago and love the show. Sadly I’ll be caught up on episodes in a couple days.

I recently stumbled upon this show while browsing on r/audiodrama where there was a post about “The Green Horizon” celebrating 50,000 downloads. I immediately decided to hop over here to my Apple podcasts app and search for it and subscribe. So very glad I did. The voice acting is really incredible for what seems to be a very small, independent production company. It’s truly unbelievable how good the cast is, so far, from top-to-bottom. What seems to really allow these actors perform as incredibly well and cohesive as they do is the really strong writing in their scripts. Seriously; their ability to write such incredibly believable dialogue has left me as impressed, and more, than I’ve ever been. I’d be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge the great sound design as well. I’ve never rated, or reviewed a podcast before this, but the fact that this show isn’t appearing in the top 100 shows in the fiction category of Apple Podcasts is an absolute travesty and must be remedied, therefore I am compelled to write this review in hopes of attracting another listener or two to listen and enjoy the 100% pure awesomeness that is “The Green Horizon.”

Binged so quickly

The Green Horizon does something we all love; Tells a good swashbuckling space story. Fun characters whose personalities seem familiar and engaging. The commitment the actors have with the writing of their characters is also a huge bonus, not afraid to play them as they are. This bold execution bleeds throughout the entire show. With strong sound design, and good world building, this show is definitely one you should be checking out.

Sci-Fi Audiodrama at its finest. Fast-paced, with short well written seasons. The universe is expansive and the characters are well thought out. The green horizon is a mix of Firefly, Red Dwarf, and Orville. It's real Sci-Fi but it has that element of campyness to it that gives it charm.

I was hooked from jump. This show is hilarious, and the pacing goes along at an energetic clip to keep me engaged. I love all the sound effects and the excellent production. You should absolutely be listening.

No seriously, you HAVE to hear this! What a hilarious podcast, l mean it's like Firefly, Red Dwarf and Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy all had crazy groupsex and had an Irish comedy baby! If that sounds slightly twisted...so does the series! It's hilarious and fun and well written and you just won't be able to get enough!

You’ll be happy you did. This show is funny, clever, surprising, charming. Ireland in space! Irate pirates, tea, plucky crew, tea, and, well, the luck o’ the Irish.

This (currently) short little pod may feel a touch amateur in production, but the writing more than makes up for it. It’s drunken Irishmen... in spaaaace! I love it, it’s hilarious. Fun characters, surprisingly good world-building. Keep it up over there guys!

Excellent, excellent narration, writing, and it’s nice to hear this type of sky captain, War of the Worlds, Calling All Cars type of production. Very clear and recommended audio drama!
