I’ve been listening for quite a while now and Andy, Dak, Doom, and any of the other special guests that show up are awesome. Their passion is unmatched and I don’t understand how they’re able to keep this podcast going for so long, but here we are! They share so much chemistry and appreciation for each other that, even in heated moments, I’m still entertained and I know it’s a civil discussion. Plus, the upcoming Marathon is for an incredible cause and is building up to be a great week of Metroid! Five stars all the way!

I don’t think anyone remembers but Andy actually suggested calling it Metroid Prime beyond in an earlier episode about Prime 4 when he was saying it shouldn’t have a number. My head cannon for real life is Nintendo listened to that episode and liked the idea. Love the show, please talk about Hollowknight and please make an LOTR bonus show with Alison. This is my first ever review I think

This podcast is okay a little boring sometimes. I have a few issues 1) I get so tired of Dak whining about everything honestly he's knowledgeable but he needs to shut up at some point rather than arguing and getting heated. It's so annoying especially in past episodes when dread came out. 2) seriously stretching for content. 3) keep politics out of this 4) again with Dak that dude will not stop please in all things that are holy get rid of him.

At the start of the podcast, I was kind of not interested in the podcast. But Andy has been really improving in my opinion and the past 30 episodes have been awesome! They’ve gone from a 2-Star podcast to a 5-Star podcast. You guys are awesome!

3/28/23 - just as the podcast was really starting to improve they drop a self-indulgent fart-snifting episode about a new mediocre theme song for the show. 5/4/22: Well, I’m a man of my word. They redid the voiceover at the top of the episode and I do believe there was nary a “pop off” or “hype” in this latest ep. (Although the king of popping off was absent this time, is I reserve the right to dial back the stars later.) Three stars it is! Original 2-star review 4/12/22: The idea for this podcast was good when it started but they’re really stretching for content lately. I’d go three stars if they could limit the use of “pop off” and “hype” to less than a dozen times per episode, or could correctly pronounce “integral” once. And that cringey try-hard voice-over ad for their website has got to go. This podcasts needs a reinvention or they should wrap it up.

Great podcast! Andy, Dak, and Doom are all very entertaining and you can tell that they have an extreme passion for what they are talking about. I’ve been eagerly waiting for you to do an “Inspired by Metroid” episode for Hollow Knight and Will of the Wisps. How long do you think it will be until you guys do an episode for both of these games? Both are peak indie Metroidvania and I’d love to hear some detailed thoughts on them. I’m a big Metroid fan and absolutely love this podcast. It’s always a great thing to find that niche outlet where you can listen all about something specific you love, and if you’re a Metroid fan, this is the place for you. Thanks guys! Keep up the hard work.

These guys are super informed on Metroid. I think my only issue is Dak comes off as incredibly immature during debates. Hoping he matures and learns how to better describe how he feels about certain aspects instead of getting SO WORKED UP every episode. It’s honestly annoying and you can tell the other host Spiteri is ticked by it as well, but he’s better at controlling his emotions.

I definitely enjoy having a Metroid podcast to listen to with super knowledgeable fans running it, but I can’t stand Dak’s steamrolling when he has even the smallest gripe about something. It makes me honestly listen to the podcast less.

When Metroid dread was announced I didn’t really care but the omega Metroid podcast got me into it my first game was Samus returns and I loved Metroid ever since

I guess y’all’s podcast is hot.

Ive been diving into the Metroid franchise and have thoroughly enjoyed listening to the Omega Metroid Podcast while I’m playing the games. Definitely worth listening to!

Just finished listening to your latest episode with the E3 2021 predictions and guys I gotta say I absolutely love listening to your Mapping Metroid and Inspired by Metroid content. Just the overall dynamic between you both is so much fun and it's nice to see some friendly debates here and there. As a Metroid fan I'm so happy to have come across your podcast and finally listen to other people's opinions on the series and how influential it is. Keep at it guys and I can't wait to listen to your next episode!

It’s gotten to the point where episodes are unlistenable for me. Especially when Dak starts ranting about Other M. Seriously, we get it, we don’t need to hear about it every freaking episode. The minute I hear him start, I just have to shut the episode off because it’s insufferable at this point. So can we maybe have some constructive content instead of listening to Dak complaining every week?

I’ve been enjoying the podcast quite a bit but there’s one thing I’m a little unclear on. What’s your stance on Metroid Other M? I don’t think I’ve heard quite enough about that. Kidding aside, I have been very pleased with the show so far. I’m still not sure how far a podcast about a single game series can go but the topics have been varied and interesting. More guests would be nice to interject different viewpoints. Just maybe enough has been said about Other M. I don’t foresee that topic going anywhere.

I have always been a huge Metroid fan but was disappointed with how little Metroid fan content existed out there. This podcast is exactly what I have been looking for. Deep dives into all aspect of the series. I especially love when you guy rank aspects of the series, such as the best Ridley boss fights. Keep up the good work guys!
