Nicolegs3Love this podcast!Best Christmas present ever- a new episode!! Thank you.
-
KHASLLittle GemsI have an idea. One new mini-series every year. Like an EP, but with broccoli jokes (I have some material.) Let us eat cake! Update: dreams really do come true!
-
DiscoKerBearFavorite Folks on the Pods!Seeing this pop up in my feed made my year!!!! This is the best and I’m grateful for every time these two come together and put out an episode!!!!
-
cafebeansCultured KetchupWhaaaaat, who would give Home Cooking less than a 5-star review. This show is like homemade pumpkin pie for the ears. Updated December 2024: WHAAT, Home Cooking is BACK! Frankly it's a Holiday Miracle!
-
Shasstina23You just posted a new episode and we are all soooo happy!!! Yaaaaay!!This show is the best! You two make us all laugh and smile and all while talking about food. 💝🙏the best!!!
-
jembo-kuna holiday miraclei thought i’d heard the last of this lovely show, and here they are again to make the season bright. what a joy.
-
Zach BleddynThe perfect podI could listen to these two talk about anything, but the fact that they’re telling me fun info about food brings it above and beyond anything I could ask for. Always a delight to see another episode added to this lovely 4 part series.
-
10CupsOCoffeeOMG a new episode!!This is my favorite Christmas present ever to see a new episode appear. Please come back more than once a year, you two!!!
-
Mistletoe WhistlerIf I could give this a thousand 5 star reviews I wouldThis is probably the single most joyous podcast I’ve ever listened to. Pure delight. Whether or not you care about food, this was a ray of sunshine through the pandemic. These two are incredible on mic together. 10 outta 10. Even years after I still recommend it to people.

J*LearnerEverything I NeedJust stopping in, hoping I’d find a semi-annual Thanksgiving episode for 2024. This podcast was one of the first ever that I listened to, and it unfortunately set the bar so high that I cannot find a suitable replacement. Please come back! You two are the best team! I can’t see old bay spice without giggling and thinking of you!
-
dahlia.hageHear me outCan you two have a huddle about what exactly it is that makes you each not want to do this podcast, then crowdsource solutions from us? I suspect it’s because it takes a lot of prep work and you two have other projects to work on. Maybe-Streamline, drop some time consuming bits and then see how that ( new ;) ) episode feels??! Lots and lots of love❤️
-
Woeisshe8682I’m sorryBut this is objectively the worst podcast I’ve ever listened to. I made it about 20 minutes before I had to skip forward to when the guest came on because the two of them are some of the least funny and interesting people I’ve come across on Apple. No offense! I’m sure there are people who can get into this schlock but I was extremely relieved to see they had ceased producing it a few years ago.
-
Hi my name is cassHiI love this podcast so so so so so so much It is the best podcast in the world. Are you ok Samin and Hrishilkesh????????????????????????? Please make another episode please just one!!!!!!! (I would love more but one is good enough) I have listened to all of the episodes again and again!! It’s been 2 years since the last episode!
-
cathead3000Love It!Wish there was more. Samin is my queen!
-
Solanes CieloPlease make more episodes! This is quite possibly the best podcast ever. The only bad thing about it is that there are only 18 episodes! I know that you all have a lot going on, but it would make me so happy if you could record just one or two episodes a year! Love the show! PS — I’ve probably listened to this podcast about four times through, and have listened to specific episodes many more times. Would HIGHLY recommend.
-
TammyLynnShellFave podcast ever.I’m not sure I would have made it through the pandemic without you. It was the saddest hardest time, and this show kept me alive. Even with all the puns! Friends forever that will never know my name. :0) Please come back! Even just once a year. Xo

Maria M-PSamin gets it.Fun, energetic, and truly laugh out loud funny, I am in love with this show. I plan to listen to them all and I will be sad once I’m done. The best thing? They were talking about eating peanut butter on raisin bread, and Saimin said, “Do you know where the best raisin bread comes from?” I said, Trader Joe’s,” and she said the same thing. Seriously, it’s the best raisin bread ever, and she knew that too. She also loves mulberry ice cream. I’ve never had it but I will literally hurt someone to get rid my hands on fresh mulberries. We are clearly food soulmates! Treat yourself and give a listen to this podcast!!!
-
justOCBPerfect duo! This is great! How am I so late I’ve followed Hrishi for years!

i❤️podcastI love it so muchListen to it every night and hope you can cut out some more time to make new episodes to inspire and delight people who fear the kitchen, chefs and everything in between ❤️ thank you for all the amazing tips and tricks.
-
DeadletterheadEvery episode is exactly what you need. Each of the 17 parts of the 4 part series had me laughing and crying with my favorite friendship in the cooking world. My face hurts from smiling and laughing so hard. The random releases hit me in all the emotions, and hunger is an emotion in my home. I always want more of these two. This podcast sent me looking for everything Rishi and Samine have done.
-
st. pete fanFun!Always fun to hear a new episode. Thank you!

JustJen001Literally the best hour I’ve had in 2022I know that “literally” is used too often and without much thought, but not here. I’ve just finished this pod and can say without hesitation, that this was my best hour this year and I was even cleaning my kitchen while listening. I found myself laughing, yes, out loud (again literally)! Twice! I love you both! I’ve also committed to making mango pie but have not yet decided the with, or without gelatin, for Thanksgiving. Thank you for making my 2022.
-
catqueen1000DelightfulWhat an absolute delight having Home Cooking back for an episode! I love and respect that Samin and Hrishikesh give us as much of themselves as they have capacity for but man do I wish we could get more of them! It’s not every podcast that has me grinning and laughing during my entire run.
-
@karenbeymerExcited!I was so happy when this new episode popped up! You to always make me smile. Karen

PregoodThanksgiving 2022!!!I pop on and give this show five stars more often than any other podcast. I haven’t even listened to the 2022 episode yet—I just opened my Podcasts and it *made my morning* just seeing the new episode there. I am so excited to listen!! And then I’m going to listen to all of them again. I love this show so much.
-
LaureldgLaugh out loud during every episodeI can honestly say this show was a highlight of 2020 for me. The now yearly Thanksgiving episodes continue to make me laugh out loud as I listen on my walks. Can I wish for at least quarterly episodes? Thanks for brightening my day with talk of bougie ice cream!
-
L56FMy favorite!Love these people. I wish they had time and energy for more episodes, but I am just so grateful when they show up in my playlist!
-
WestSFLove the personality of the showBut I’m so distracted by all of Samin’s “likes”. Sorry to write this.
-
Sean from PittsburghLove in the form of a podcastI can’t express how much this show means to me. To Samin, Hrishi, and the whole team: thank you so much for bringing us another episode!

KenMittMost warming show out there.Saving our third re-listen for when we move into our new apartment… want your nourishing joviality, wisdom, and sass to christen the whole space… like the audio version of bringing people wine, salt, bread! Thank you for all the kindness, for what you guys have shared, especially when you shared it.

StephieWB in ECBest Podcast Ever! This divine food-centered podcast featuring Sami and Hirikesh is like a an old friendsship thst is both comfortable, fun, and endearing. Sami is nearly irrepressibly cheerful, though candid and genuine in the face of the pandemic, the accompanying challenges, and the loss of Hirikesh’s mother deep into the show. She utilizes her diverse knowledge of cuisines and culture, including her own experiences from her Iranian (previously described as Persian and as an IranianAmerican. She is worldly and knowledgeable with a refreshing respect for the multicultural experiences and cuisines she has explored. Though her goodwill and brightness is the best part of the series. Hirikesh is a professional musician and podcaster about music, but is in a constant search for food and eating tips to improve his frequently vegan and vegetarian cuisine. He is probably a step above the most novice cook in experience, but clearly appreciates good food and the labor necessary to create it. He is Indian-American (I am unsure of the region) and his father, a retired food scientist, is an occasional charming guest on the show. The stories the hosts share about their families and the food they grew up with makes you feel as if you were sitting with them at a kitchen table, sharing a meal. This is a welcoming, generally cheerful podcast that I’ve returned to multiple times in search of comfort. Highly recommended.

jill pmPlease another! Please do another episode! I Would love to hear the two of you again!

Travel-MonkeyBring back the show!!This show is so full of joy! You two are so fun to listen to. Samin laughing all the time and Hrishi’s hilarious and on point puns—THE BEST. Even the callers and guests were a hoot. Thank you for putting some much needed happiness into the universe.
-
