He’s a thylacine 2025 update: honestly, this show used to be so much more chill. Now you guys only care about money. The way you sneak your ads in is such a turn off. We should be explicitly told when we are being advertised to, not having you annoyingly interrupt a conversation on wooly mice to tell me about magic mind with no transition whatsoever. I get it, get your bag, but you could go about it in such a better way.

I feel like you guys have sold out. I use to learn so much and laugh a lot, it was truly a great podcast to learn from that has just become 85% sponsorship talk and 15% animal talk. Very unfortunate.

I gave this podcast a shot at complete random based off watching Extint or Alive expecting a show about elusive animals, but the animals ended being behind the mics. I'm listening through starting from the begining and constantly catch myself laughing as you guys just rip into each other, it just reminds me of being out with the guys knocking back a few drinks except I can do it now while working out or doing house chores or while in traffic. My only regret is that I didn't listen earlier so I could suggest the Brohirrim for the listener base name. I've suggested the podcast to many of my bros.

They got to change up the BR into something different we don’t want crazy hybrids anymore but instead something different.

I just found y’all’s podcast along with Forrest’s shows on Amazon and I’ve been binging the episodes on Spotify and I absolutely love this podcast instantly became one of my favorites and I cant stop listening so hopefully I should catch up soon to the recent podcasts lol

Typically a big fan of the podcasts and have been able to ignore Forrest and Peter’s hot takes. However the most recent episode made me lose brain cells. Hearing the opinions on the reproductive habits of people in 3rd world countries from these clowns truly made me want to off myself so I wouldn’t have to keep listening. Do better.

Forrest, I love listening to you talk about your days in Africa, hearing about those animals or some of my favorite bun packs. I had no clue hyenas did not hunt as a pack. The nature documentaries always make it seem like they are in a group not individual.

These farts sound like out of shape 60 year old retired skateboarders. There's interesting stuff if you can wade through the nonsense, but I'm over it.

You guys are so hilarious together but here’s my question are you guys ever going to season three of extinct or alive or is that Shore dead and gone forever?

This is an awesome podcast if you want an easy to listen to break, while still being able to learn new fun and interesting facts. This podcast makes science a lot more interesting to listen to than the typical science podcast. Highly recommend!

I'm not sure how a podcast can get any better than this. I would never be able to complete my 1,000 piece puzzles or go on long road trips without it. I love animals and this involves animals in a super fun and entertaining way.

Find this podcast super interesting and hilarious. Would love to hear the guys theories on “alien big cats” I.e. black panthers in the US, African lions in England etc. I for one have never seen any evidence that looks like anything other than a house cat but 🤷🏻‍♀️

A biologist and an Eric bana look alike make fun of a homeless guy for an hour every week. Occasionally they talk about animals.

Love the show, and especially your new podcast logo. That would make a great hat, the logo sewn on a hat, patch style would make an elite hat.

Considering they have a wildlife expert on this show, some of the crap that comes out of his mouth is frighteningly inaccurate. I mean he does say things like “I think” or “im pretty sure”, but im shocked someone in his position would allow questionable information to leave his mouth and be published. Love the topics, love his tv show, but if he wants people to take him seriously, there needs to be a fact checker on this podcast to correct things they talk about.

This podcast has me laughing on a daily. Currently trying to play catch-up but this is definitely not for Karen’s. Finally a podcast I can relate to as a female who loves hanging with the bros and learning about wildlife.

Love the podcast, love the bros, love the whole vibe. I feel like this podcast is definitely a hidden gem. I maybe the only female that listens to this podcast though. 😂

I edited my review because as time goes on, I feel like this pod (mostly Retep because he’s in charge of the Insta) can be really irresponsible about the content they share. I was hoping this would be an educational and funny podcast about wildlife but it doesn’t always deliver, especially when Forrest isn’t present. As a major wildlife podcast I think more care should be taken about how we talk about (and show people) interacting with wildlife.

This podcast is a must listen! You definitely won’t regret you tuned in - it made my drive from Santa Barbara to San Diego feel like the shortest trip yet, and I was laughing the whole way there... Topics include creating fictitious species from imagination to the hit show Tiger King to backstage insight of all Forrest’s explorations, including the filming of his Animal Planet Show. I think the gorilla with a rhino face and giraffe legs, takes the cake on the duel...anything is better than that bat/owl rat tail one from the first show though 😂 you had me at cheesecake, cheescake wins!

The best wildlife podcast in the world. Filled with interesting facts about wildlife, current wildlife news, and comedic relief from three bros. 5/5 highly recommended.

I actually enjoy having Forrest be able to be himself in this podcast and just banter with Retep and Patrick about random topics as well as all of the wildlife goodness you’d want to expect without it being a boring documentary-style podcast. A fun listen all around! Also, wouldn’t have taken Forrest for a Blink-182 fan but that was pleasantly surprising to find out.

I had really high hopes for this, I thought a wild life podcast with Forrest would be filled with interesting facts about animals and biology. It’s really just three frat boys getting drunk and calling it a podcast.

Animal Planet star Forrest Galante gets bored and creates a podcast during the pandemic. How did he nail such a hit in his first podcast adventure? Because he’s not a dummy and knows his stuff. Add in a pinch of wildlife producers and tech wizards and you have educational comedic gold. Can’t recommend this enough for wildlife lovers or fans of Extinct or Alive.
