Doesn’t it sound terrible to listen to a podcast about data science?! I promise this is both enlightening and entertaining. As someone who has a social science degree and wants to pivot to DS, this was incredibly helpful.

Great resource if you are eagerly hoping to make the jump to DS but equally terrified! They playfully yet informatively give you a realistic look inside the field that you don’t ever get when reading the technical books or listening to technical media about DS. Great podcast for any newbie interested in data science.

One can really find a podcast out there about anything! I’m so grateful to have stumbled upon this. I’m just starting out my data science journey as I just graduated from college w a bio degree completely lost on what to do next. I’ve spent the last 4 months after graduating going thru a whole quarterlife crisis and was even about to teach English abroad in South Korea! However, my friend urged me to look into tech and long story short I fell in love with the idea of becoming a data scientist. This podcast has helped confirm that I am making the right choice! I love how informative and REAL you guys are and I truly believe everyone starting out on this path should begin with this podcast. I can’t wait to see how far I will go but this podcast will forever be the first stepping stone into my career as a data scientist! Thank you.❤️

Five years ago I’d never heard of data science. My company has been on a hiring spree for data scientists for 2 years. My job has become data science adjacent, and I wanted to better understand what is data scientist, how might I work with them and how do they think about business problems. I love this podcast! The hosts are knowledgeable, experienced and approachable. Their conversations are interesting, lively and fun. They share interesting insights about data science challenges and data ethics. When I have a problem, like I’d like my algorithm to have anti-bias measures built-in, I’m ready to go to the data scientists at my job and present the challenge, discuss parameters and let them work it.

I write this review to ask that Jacqueline NOT stop the fake sponsors. This podcast, brought to you both by TWITTER and GREEK LETTERS, is so good. Even just as a novice who is vaguely interested. It’s been helpful in job searching and interview prep even outside of the specific field. And especially as a women I do not feel gaslit by these two wonderful ladies. Rare and encouraging.

The two talk like two good friends who share information and insights that’s relatable. They humanize data science field which seems daunting at times. I really love it. You can learn a lot and ease the anxiousness if you are starting your journey into data science.
