First time caller long time listener.
First time caller long time listener. I've listened to nearly every episode it is something my father and I bond over. I was born in the mid 90s, so I did not fully get to experience the blockbuster era of movies listening to your podcast. Makes me feel like I have gained what I have missed. I would love to hear you guys one day do my all-time favorite movie Executive Decision which came out the same year I was born 96. It actually came out two days after I was born.

    Great show
Have been listening for the past few weeks. Lots of time at work to listen to podcast so this quickly has been added to my arsenal of content. Amazing chemistry between the hosts, adds a lot to the nostalgia you can really tell they love the movies they talk about. I will say they don’t delve extremely into major plot points to every movie which is fair with time limits. But with years of content you can skim through their library and easily find a film you can relate to.

    Great find
I just discovered the podcast and I am really looking forward to catching up on all of the episodes I missed. Great movie reviews and a very funny team with a lot of chemistry together.

    Not bad
These guys cover lots of great nostalgic movies. They’re pretty funny but also very full of themselves. I wish they could go one episode without saying “terrifying” at least 15 times. But overall, it’s a good time.
  • Adrock888
I get it you’re friends and you think you’re hilarious.
Came across a clip of this pod and downloaded a few eps to give it a try. Got halfway through the first one (Three Amigos) ep and I don’t think I can do the rest. There’s a maybe one or two moments where there’s an actual funny comment or good insight on the movie, but most of it has been run through the Z morning zoo filter—complete with sound effects and little interstitial audio bits and these guys just trying waayyy to hard to be funny and hamming up on whatever is mildly so. This is great example of what people think of when you say “podcast culture” now. Just some absolute nobody people who haven’t earned any reason to be listened to.

    Love the show
Been listening for a few years, love the show. Really enjoyed the “A League of Their Own” episode. I wanted to make a suggestion for a review. “So I Married An Axe Murderer”. Hilarious, relatively slept on Mike Myers gem. Hope to hear it from you one day!

    Great podcast
Its a great podcast but the sad fact is all three of the gentlemen have an addiction. To the crisp smooth and clean taste of cedar ridge wiskey. Now its no secret that cedar ridge is the only whiskey that alllows a man to still perform but will actually improve function and but i fond that women who see a man drinking cedar ridge usually become highly attracted based on the fact the drinker is clearly sophisticated and discerning.

    Fantastic podcast
Found this podcast recently while doomscrolling. But, I couldn’t be happier finding this gem. It has made my hour long drive to and from work every day fly by. Their chemistry is fantastic and their discussions are meaningful and made with love. I’m only 20 episodes in and where I may disagree with them on some of their ratings, I ca not hate on their reasoning. All in all, it’s a fantastic podcast will catch up….eventually.

    Some Real Rad Lads
This podcast has quickly become my favorite. I, like Christopher Columbus, recently discovered this gem. I ran faster than a T800 to download it last week and I haven’t stopped listening since. I listen to 3 or so episodes a day. One could say I’m hooked like an 80s stock broker on the booger sugar. They even saved my life on a long roadtrip by keeping me awake and keeping my brain from a definite Short Circuit. Every episode I’m Crane Kicked in the face with nostalgia and laughs. I’m transported in a DeLorean of great conversation to a simpler time. I don’t care if you’re Home Alone, on an Excellent Adventure, or in a Plane Train or Automobile, this podcast is worth the listen. It’s Over The Top with exceptional content. So go ahead, I Double Dare you to grab your Lost Boys &/or Goonies, gather round, and have a listen…if you have the Guts. I promise you won’t regret inviting these Three Amigos into your life! Enjoy…It’s better than an endless supply of Squeezits and Push Pops! Much love, Philip in Tampa

    So great
I always discover such great shows years after they started. Glad I have such a big back catalogue to listen to while I’m at work. Thanks for the amazing content
  • Ponchycat
    You guys are hilarious!
I’ve been listening for a little while and I’ll be at work with my headphones in and my coworkers think I’m crazy because I’ll just start laughing. It makes my miserable job go faster. I think you should do more of those mini bytes.. the Nintendo 64 one had me dyinggg the whole time! Born in 1987 I can relate to all the nostalgia! Thank you for this podcast!

    It’s gone downhill.
Used to really enjoy this podcast, but lately it’s been mostly nitpicky improv and not a whole lot of discussion about the actual movie.
  • JUICEMAN3000
    Absolutely Brilliant!
I have nothing but positive things to say about the hosts of this podcast. They do an excellent job of making these episodes so much fun to listen to. They have amazing chemistry and they don’t take themselves or the shows and movies too seriously. I especially love that they talk about the movies that, for the most part, I grew up watching and either loving or hating. This podcast is a great escape to the craziness of the world that we’re in. If you’re a fan of movies and nostalgia, then this is the podcast for your ears. Even if I differ at times with their opinions, I still thoroughly enjoy listening to them. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard listening to a podcast as I did listening to the Over The Top episode. If you know, then you know.
  • Sam9979
    Great pod
Their chemistry is undeniable. They’re my youngest brother’s age so obviously we don’t see eye to eye on a lot of topics but I love this show anyway. It’s fun to love movies but to not take yourself too goddamn seriously even if the Goth Kid uses the word “cinema” too much.

    Error on BIG
Listening to the Big episode now—Tom Hanks was nominated for Best Actor for Big. He didn’t win the award like you said. Just thought I’d throw that out there. Still love ya.

    Great show
I’m hooked on this podcast, I love how they go thru the entire movie, scene by scene. Great chemistry between the 3 of them. Need to do more 80s and 90s movie. Here’s a couple movies I’d like them to review: -Better off Dead -D.A.R.Y.L -Detroit Rock City
  • The Realest Lewser
    Nice show
Great show, getting a little weird with all the ads, and I’m not buying hello fresh just to enter a contest lol. Strip all that away and you have a great podcast. I kno these guys have to make a living so i didn’t let it effect my rating, the podcast is great. Listen to the older episodes before the ads took over
  • Call of duty camper

    Awesome podcast!
Hey guys, I listen to you guys on Spotify but had to come here Apple Podcasts to leave a review. Listened to The Sandlot episode and have been hooked ever since. I grew up in the 90s and it’s fun to reminisce with you guys. Love the nostalgia and the mini byte are some of my favorites. Keep up the good work and can’t wait to continue listening!
  • Moongoat13
    Thank You
I’ve listened to so many episodes of this podcast partially to the movies I’ve watched. While I’ve slowly run out of those shows I’ve dived into the Brunch episodes. It was the Brunch episode mentioning Snack Shack and the knowing my similar taste in movies as you guys, I knew, I had to watch it. To avoid this becoming a love letter to that movie, I just have to say: your podcast has been timeless, as I’ve travelled back years to listen to certain reviews and they are just as fresh as the newly released AND your recommendation of Snack Shack is a debt of mine forever owed. 9.8/5

    Best part of my day!
Exactly what I needed in my life! I LOVED going to the video store every weekend with my best friend and renting as many movies as we could carry on our bikes. This has been such a wonderful and nostalgic walk down memory lane for me! I may have found you on TikTok recently but I’m so glad I’m here! Keep ‘em coming, guys!!!

    Best pod ever
Best pod ever. Changing some of the wording from “see if it holds up” to “see if they move us the way they did as kids” might be why CB is like having a warm blanket from my 90’s childhood. Please don’t ever stop!!
  • LydiaMonster
    Always a fun time!
I don’t always agree with these gentlemen (?) in their ratings and analysis but I always appreciate and respect their reasoning. And I ALWAYS appreciate the laughs they deliver. These are FUNNY dudes. Also thoughtful and insightful. I love features like Favorite Prop, Most Punchable Face and recent addition, What’s The Porn Version? These dudes care about their listeners and what they put out for listening. I’d like to think that if I lived in their area we’d be friends (they are already my weekly ear hole pals) and if they do a live show in Denver I’ll be there (film pending?) If you like movies and laughing, check out The Confused Breakfast.
  • N8_ps
    Love this podcast
I still love this podcast even though they don’t talk as much about 90s movies. Guys, please come to St. Louis and do a show!

Just finished Teen Wolf episode and have a would you rather: Party at the Moon Tower, party at Stifler’s house or Party with Styles? Keep up the content men!

You are wrong about 3 ninjas! But your opinions are hilarious
Love the podcast don’t always agree but you guys are so funny you get me through my workday as I secretly listen to you everyday during work. I hope you will cover the other movies in the 3 ninjas Franchise I’m sure you will hate those too but want to hear your thoughts anyway!! Look forward to future episodes!
  • ButterFunkMcChunk
    This podcast is terrible…NOT!
In a world consumed by podcasts covering all topics I find solace listening to these three “gentlemen” as they pick apart movies down to the finest detail. It’s premise is simple: review movies, but it too often leads to engaging banter and a complexity of discussion where you might actually learn something new about a film you swear you’ve seen a hundred times. They may not know it yet, but these guys have created a form of modern art through open and honest observation of our nostalgic values as children, and then wonderfully manage to paint it against our change into adulthood. Five freakin stars. PS: Do 1995’s classic Heat already. Sincerely, Nic Mad, esquire, and proud member of the Little Lewbowski Urban Achievers.

    Price is Right
I don’t think I’ve laughed as hard as I did at work listening to last couple of minutes of this mini episode. I’ve been a fan for a while and just recently started to listen from the very beginning. Thank you guys so much for making my work day and drive so much more enjoyable. Keep up the great work

    Love it
I work construction and completely stopped to laugh when i heard, “turned me into a tripod” during this weeks Dirty Dancing review. Perfect timing and delivery. Love the show, keep it up!

    My Favorite Podcast
I used to hate the treadmill - I would struggle to get thirty minutes in. Then I ran across The Confused Breakfast podcast. Now I jump on the treadmill, start an episode, and when it stops automatically after sixty-five minutes, I’m like, “Wait a second! What just happened?” Mike, Sean, & AJ have great chemistry. They are so funny - I find myself literally laughing out loud as I listen to them. Also, being an info junkie, I really appreciate the research they obviously conduct in preparation for each episode - I always learn something about the backstory and production of the movies I grew up watching. The Confused Breakfast is a great, great podcast!

    A Real Treat
Recently discovered your podcast and as a 90’s kid I’m loving it! The brunch episodes are especially fun. Couple ideas for that. Maybe you could do your top animated or Disney characters. Thanks for all the entertainment 💛

    The Best Movie Review Podcast
I just recently discovered this podcast a couple months ago. I’m about 30 episodes in so far and just having a blast listening to all the childhood classics. It’s funny and entertaining. It’s fun to hear all the deep drive fun facts that you never knew. But mostly, it completely destroys how you thought movies were when you were growing up (in a funny way). Only complaint so far going through the catalog: You guys harsh on the PC and woke culture from movies made 20-30 years ago. Come on. Ha. We already know things are dated. No need to defend yourself for what you watched from an Adam Sandler movie back in the day. But overall, thank you for making this Podcast. I’m hooked on listen to your movie reviews and breakdowns. I’ve been telling a bunch of friends to try this Podcast out.

    Decent show
The concept is really solid and I love how they deep dive into movies, but the hosts are sometimes borderline insufferable. It feels like you’re listening to a cheap morning radio show about 30% of each episode because of their style of humor and the way they communicate with each other and the audience.
