    Not Enjoying It Anymore
I used to really enjoy this podcast and thought there was a lot of information shared and that the house were fairly neutral over the last four months. I no longer agree with that. I feel like now they don’t provide any original thoughts. It’s all stuff that is already written online or said in the broadcast on top of that I really feel like they are very biased and think that the only two competent IndyCar teams are Penske and GCR. They continuously throw shade at teams like Andretti and McLaren for not being on the same level as them even when those teams win races. They come up with some excuse as to why those teams won the race and Penske and CGR did not. I find that they are very biased towards Colton Herta for some unknown reason as well as Rossi. They never give these guys credit for anything they do and say that they got lucky each race. Listen to the most recent episode where they talk about St. Petersburg and you’ll notice the shade they throw at Colton as if he wasn’t in the mix to win the race for most of the race had tires strategy gone his way he would’ve been P2 possibly. I feel like this podcast has just become a shade show and I could do a better job myself. Anything I hear on here I can get from online.
  • what about george?
    Essential
    Easily the best Indy pod.
  • Brian from Indianapolis
    Great Indy Car insights
Thank you Jack and JR. I enjoy the podcast for the banter but especially appreciate the miles deep insight and breakdowns of the races and strategies. JR is a gold mine if information, the perspective he brings to the conversation has made me smarter and a even bigger Indy Car fan…and dare I say racing fan in general. Cheers
  • JR loves Indycar
JR and Jack are the best
Jack is truly one of the great new voices in Indycar and JR provides great perspective from the driver’s point of view. Intelligent, funny and informative

    The Athletic is not inclusive
The Athletic goes beyond sports to make comments about hockey players who refuse to wear gay-supporting jerseys. Not inclusive in content. Sad b/c I have enjoyed this podcast until politics by The Athletic entered the discussion. Inclusivity unless one disagrees with the LGBTQ+^#%{£¥ agenda then their writers post nasty messages. Would rate 0 if I could. I watch sports to get away from the kook social agendas and news of the day. Unsubscribed.

    Great Podcast
They don’t sensationalize topics, one of the hosts races half the time and they get great guests. Great to see another Boulder resident doing well

    Best breakdown of IndyCar
JR Hildebrand is absolutely brilliant at breaking down the races, and Jack adds in outside of IndyCar perspectives. The balance between the two make this a must listen after each race. I’ll be sad for the season to end because I’ll miss this podcast. Until 2022!

Good Like the Marshall Pruett Podcast but Not 27 Hours Long
This podcast is an excellent addition to my motorsports feed and fills a gap the size of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's infield when it comes to quality IndyCar shows. I would like to offer two friendly suggestions Jack and JR: 1. Don't be afraid to let more of your personality shine through. The show is very professional but I think it can still be that and even more engaging if you let loose a little bit. 2. Stop lying, you're not fooling anyone, JAAAACK! You say you are the "Race's American Editor" at the start of the show, but clearly you're British. We are dumb enough as a country to stockpile gasoline in plastic garbage bags transported in our trunks but even we can see this whopped! Can't fool me! * taps my temple to feel my big brain *

    The Race’s usual high quality
Another top notch podcast from The Race. I’m thrilled to have such a high quality Indycar podcast. JR would be great in a broadcast booth someday. Question: how do teams build setups prior to race weekends- especially at new tracks? Do they get baseline ideas from Dallara and the Dallara simulator? Another question: If I recall correctly, Dampers are one of the few “open” areas of development in Indycar. What sort of things are teams trying? Different pistons, oils, manufacturers etc do any teams machine their own components for their shocks?

Best Indycar content on the web.
Jack knows his Indycar and JR’s insight is second to none. Really excellent stuff here. It’s the podcast that Indycar fans have been longing for. This is coming from a listener of Marshall Pruett & Indystars content over the years.
