I love Chelsea and this podcast but please, enough with the boring career advice. Give me interpersonal issues, ethical quandaries, office politics, love/dating drama, mental health challenges, anything would be fine if it’s interesting. Celeste Barber was such a fun guest and I would have loved to hear her tackle some juicy questions. But instead almost the entire episode was consumed with how much time someone should set aside each day to write. Many other calls have been people who are obviously trying to network and use Chelsea to make connections via this podcast. This is not entertaining!

I know you joke about straight men don’t listen to your podcast but I have enjoyed your show from the beginning giving me a perspective to make me more understanding of viewpoints that I have not been naturally exposed. Chelsea, Catherine and the guests are making me better.

Chelsea and Catherine are great! Great rapport with each other and with guests. Chelsea is also generally really inspirational in her blend of humor with vulnerability. I’ve followed her on and off over the years, viewing her almost as a cool aunt or big sister helping me better accept myself as a young woman who often feels too loud, too goofy, too headstrong. Lately though, I’ve found content and guests to be pretty uninteresting. Feels like the show is turning purely into an avenue for boring D-Listers to promote their latest endeavors. I hope Chelsea can get back to focusing on more interesting content like politics, society, and self development. Focus more on guests that are actual experts in these areas!

love Cathrine!! her advice and insights are amazing. This is a wonderful show, I look forward to it each week. Thank you for creating a space where people can share so honestly, I have found much peace in the advice given to others. I’m very thankful for all those who have written in.

Chelsea is obnoxious. Tried to listen to the Sharon Horgan show and I just can’t. Chelsea needs to be done.

I’ve followed Chelsea since Girls behaving badly days…but I recently wrote to the show with a relationship problem that I’ve been really struggling with. I was given a brief answer without much dialogue and quickly dismissed. Needless to say, my segment was not aired. While that part doesn’t bother me, what does bother me is that Chelsea says she wants to help people but that’s clearly not the goal. Sincerely disappointed that someone I have looked up to for so long, let me down in such a big way.

I will say that some of the choices for questions that you pair with the guests is sooooo awkward. Guest whose husband famously died, let’s talk about death!! Or an overweight person gets the questions about not loving your body. It makes me cringe. 🙃

Chelsea is so accomplished, bright, funny, and introspective. I really enjoy her interviews with other interesting and accomplished women and the Q&A is Chelsea and her guests way of paying it forward. I left the US six years ago but Chelsea is my connection I cherish to all that is good about comedy in the States. Come to Prague Chelsea! I think you would have an enthusiastic Czech audience.

I am so grateful that I found this podcast, via Alex Cooper. I have always been a fan of Chelsea Handler as a comedian, but I had no idea how intellectual & intelligent she is. She is using her privilege as a wealthy white woman, and her platform as a celebrity, to shed light on very important issues throughout the US and the world. She covers topics ranging from politics, to human rights, to relationship dynamics (romantic & platonic). There is a diverse group of guests on each episode, and the advice that is given is so needed & so wise, and so authentic. I love that she allows her listeners to write/call in with questions && she always gives her honest opinion. She comes from a place of experience, wisdom, and empathy. You don’t really get to see her empathetic side through her comedy, but she is truly such a compassionate person. I’m actually in awe of this podcast and so grateful for it.

Elon working with Russia is why the election played out the way that it did? So embarrassing and shameful. You’re an embarrassment to all Democrats. Elon was always a dem until the party went so woke and abandoned what it use to stand for. Your refusal to look at the issues within your own party are what landed you where you are. I’m a massive fan and have been here since day one, but that Kevin Hart interview was truly on another level! You guys knocked it out of the park with spot on advice and the banter between you two gave Snoop Dog/Martha vibes in the best possible way! Never stop and please come do a show in Italy!

I appreciate this podcast but struggle with the number of ads. I just timed it and there were 1:47 of ads before the episode began. And to have a third of the 15’ min “couple therapy” episodes be ads is disappointing .

How did it take me this long to find this podcast? I love Chelsea. She is so honest, funny and real. I love the format of this podcast with the interviews and advice. BUT CATHERINES VOICE IS GRATING. She says “like” way too often. And her words are dragged out like a valley girl. I like her but can’t stand her voice.

You can’t watch telly without too many ads unless you pay. When my Telly bill became $185.00, I cancelled everything I could. Just enjoy the pod. Chelsea and friend's are awesome. 😎

I've loved to listen to Chelsea and Catherine for a long time, but adding Lovett made for the perfect podcast. Chelsea and Jon are the perfect pair, similar in some ways and complementary in others. In short, love it! 😉

I’ve been listening for a long time, but found myself cringing in pain from Catherine’s voice. I am unsubscribing. I can’t listen to it any more. I’m a huge Chelsea fan, so it’s a real shame that she allows Catherine to speak so much.

I like the funny and interesting topics. Too many ads kills the enjoyment!

When 1/3 of the episode is ads it is a bit much. Also some of the episodes are so poorly edited I have to check if my device reset or I hit a button. Pretty disappointing from a celebrity who has resources to make a decent media item.

and yet with all her outspoken opposition to mansplaining and the patriarchy, with that blowhard wannabe psychology expert “dr” gabor yerba maté she misses a golden opportunity to critique his halfbaked notions, ridiculous assertions based on flimsy rationale building from one spoonfed assumption (confusing a rise in diagnoses with an increased incidence of certain pathologies) to the next. In fact I’ve never heard any podcast permitting a guest such long periods of uninterrupted soliloquies as on that singular episode. Truly a disappointment it is a podcast that features psychopaths, receives calls from mostly psychotic narcissists and has guest appearances from various generally uninteresting self-serving career narcissists who associate w others only insofar as it may advance their visibility, professional accolades, and celebrity status, v much including family members and so-called friends, all treated as capital to be bandied about as convenient, flung aside when feeling “toxic” or “burdensome,” frequently accused of aforementioned “narcissistic behavior” ….. occasionally amusing but mostly aggravating

I love the different topics even the ones I do not agree with but always great to hear other points of view. I do find myself disconcerting with Catherine’s role in the podcast. Feels like we get a lot more of her than Chelsea. Otherwise, a good show.

I enjoy listening to Chelsea and her guest every week. But I agree with a lot of the reviews, Catherine needs to stop giving her advice. There has not been an episode where I agree with her recommendations. It’s getting hard to listen to the podcast every week because of it.

Bummer that she supports this genocide. Will never listen again.

Can’t stand her. We met once in 2011 near my home in Hawaii. I was working at the spa at the four seasons Hualalai and I was a new comedian attempting to perform as much as possibly locally. I told her that and gave her a flyer for an upcoming performance. She smiled and said she couldn’t make it because she said she was leaving. She was lying and I found out later that she gave the flyer to hotel management and a few days later was asked to leave and then I was blacklisted from the resort for life. This newest episode with the queen of Jizz shows how her poor taste hasn’t improved. I’m so tired of HELLYWOOD Liars taking all the jobs away from real aspiring talent. Go away you no talent, old, washed-up but dirty unattractive fake blonde…your money will never buy you respect. You’re finished. Nobody likes you. Go have another drink. No Aloha.

I have loved and followed Chelsea for years, from her show, to her documentaries, specials and podcasts. Listening to Dear Chelsea has been a highlight of my week since it started. I admire Chelsea’s willingness to learn, grow and form new opinions on important topics. Unfortunately she is not willing to do that on the issue of the genocide being committed against the Palestinian people by Israel now and in the past. For that reason I can’t in good conscience continue to support her.

I’ve never written a podcast review in my life but as a weekly listener of Dear Chelsea I felt compelled to share that I will no longer be listening due to Chelsea’s support of the Palestinian genocide. So sad to write this and I urge you to reconsider how you use such an influential platform.

While thousands are being slaughtered, Chelsea believes it is necessary to keep the only peace in the middle peace. Insane when white people have the audacity to shut up brown and black voices to fit an agenda for the people lining their pockets. Biggest disappointment of 2023. I hope your career never recovers from this.
