I absolutely LOVE the neutral coverage of what is going on in politics!!!! Love him!

Love the content but there appears to be 1.5 minutes of commercial for each 1 minute of content. I listen to podcasts all the time but this is toooooooooo much. Signing off

I love Michael and his show but this podcast is a constant repeat of the same commercials with an occasional bit of show. My 30 second “fast forward” button gets quite a workout while I try to find a morsel of show or commentary. Enough with the ads, please!

Love the takes on things and I greatly understand the need to make a buck, but a 7 minute podcast shouldn’t be 5 mins in ads.

I just listened to your podcast for the first time after listening to your interview with Tucker Carlson. My problem is you had about one and a half minutes of information with about four and a half minutes of commercials. I understand you need income for doing your podcast, but this ratio is really off-putting.

I have been a fan of Michael’s show on CNN for a very long time. I love the Daily poll questions and I love the guests on the short podcast that comes later. I would give five stars, however I don’t understand why it’s so short. I want more Smerconish!

And that’s what I love about it. Other podcasts are turning into vanity projects, chat shows. I’m increasingly turning them off after 10 minutes. So thanks for this succinct podcast each day.

I know I can trust Michael to get to the bottom of things in an objective way. My favorite part of the show are any which focus on legal decisions where Michael’s expertise coupled with his invaluable guests make for a most informative experience. Thank you, Michael, TC, and everyone else who produces the podcast.

Longer show preferred

Its a rare occasion when the podcast is more than 6 or 7 minutes. Maybe once a week its 25 minutes. Love Michael. Wish there was more to listen to.

I have followed you for over 20 years and I believe your a good honest man but I also believe you have no courage or you feel the need to be loved by everyone, it muffles your voice. You’ve never in the past had a problem with calling out the far right, you do it with passion as you should. But over the last 10-15 years as the far left has grown from the far left to the main stream of the Democratic Party you walk on the issues that pop up like egg shells. Again, I like and admire but you and the Main Street media have not taken a stance at all about so many things out of control. If you being cancelled is not proof enough then I don’t know what is. Stop implying how you feel about medical altering drugs/ surgeries to minors and speak up for what’s right. I could give you 5 other examples where you try to explain things from the “middle” when there is no middle. You are culpable for much of the madness happening today because of your silence over the last decade.

I began listening about a year ago because I was eager to hear a variety of opinions. I’ve always been “in the middle” leaning liberal. I especially appreciate that Michael is not afraid of tough subjects or controversial figures. Also Michael is respectful of every caller regardless of their views.

I can’t often listen to the whole show, and I was hoping it would be fulfilling. Unfortunately, most of the podcast episodes discuss today’s “undies in a bundle” issue, so I don’t hear the wonderful guests and Michael’s thoughtful interviews.

The Smerconish show is excellent and balanced (despite what others write). The podcast is made up of segments from recent shows (that run 15-25 minutes) and short segments (6-7 minutes) explaining his daily poll question. Why are there advertisements, especially when they’re in the really short segments? Do you really need the advertising money? They’re really annoying when I just want to quickly listen to what I might have missed.

Stop carrying water for Trump. Mike is a bitter loser attacking MSNBC because he got fired over a sex scandal. Trump didn’t make history. Only 13% of Iowans voted. That’s all

This show is great and the podcast USED TO BE GREAT, but when you cut content to podcasts down to less than 10 min I unsubscribed. I still check in to see if content is longer and I listen to the episodes longer than 15 min. When I’m working and listening 10 min shows won’t do. Please release more content from the full show!

How can you not support Taylor Swift as Person of the Year? Or maybe I should just say how can you start your episode with “bad choice” when she has done more than other other living human to bring joy to the world. She epitomizes Person of the Year. Shame on you!

Please retrain your sound guy, Michael. Anyone outside of the studio that Michael talks to is produced at a lower volume than Michael: when TC appears remotely, callers (understandably), and even Mike Murphy airing from a professional studio. The least that could be done for listeners would be to lower Michael's volume to the level of the remote person's so that we listeners can turn our volume up without the danger of having our eardrums being blown out by Michael's booming voice! I am exasperated because this has been going on for years, which is so incongruous with how meticulous Michael is.

I enjoy this podcast, but they recently wrecked the format. It went from 30 minutes, to 6-7 minutes of which half is commercials, bumpers and horrible interstitials promoting Sirius Radio. You’re competing with REAL podcasts. Sirius needs to take a back seat and let the content do the talking.

He claims to be fair and centrist. He is a life long republican and does everything he can to hurt democrats. I bet his side kick has an NDA.

Please bring back the content.

This is one of my favorite podcasts, however thre last week has me disappointed. The daily content has changed from a full segment to 6-7 minute clips pushing the doily poll question only. I hope this is not all we can expect in the future.

Hardly for ‘independent’ minds! Leans too far into right field. I used to respect you on CNN earlier but am tuning you both out of my play list.

Sometimes good, usually mediocre, too often a waste of time. Overall not nearly good enough commentary especially when you account for how much of the show is commercials and listener calls. Most recent example of painful was his “thesis” that the indictments might help Trump. He rephrased it but that’s the literal and obvious point - after it became empirically unmistakable and every journalist and windbag, including Trump, had already pointed to it. Add some embarrassing naval gazing by MS and you know you’ve spent your time poorly.

Wow, rarely is anyone so wrong. On the Adnan Syed case, he vilifies the innocent and defends the corrupt Kevin Urick. Sometimes in life you can see how misguided, old, outdated principles lead to disaster. That is Smerconish. Poor, outdated guy, just doesn’t get it.

Too much of the show is taken up by Michael blowing his own horn.

I would highly recommend you start a regiment of full spectrum cbd. you are way too wired to listen to on a cnn saturday morning. brinkley, huntley, cronkite all current news reporters or just hosts of news shows need to take a lesson on preesenting information from these best of the best.

Coming from a generation older than you, I can say for sure mental illness was not to be discussed in my younger years and later. It was regarded as an extreme weakness on the person with mental problems. And a huge embarrassment to the family, which was so wrong to me even as a young person. I think today with many people it is still not a topic to be discussed. I have a lot more to say but will close with my couple of thoughts. Thank you.

I love Smerconish, but now too many commercials in such a short program.

I can’t afford to subscribe to your radio program. While not a lot of money it’s still more than I want to spend for just 1 program. So I subscribed to you podcast, but recently you’ve started having ad’s the run 2 plus minutes long, two of these in fact. For a program that runs usually around 20 minutes I find this abuse of my ears trying to sell gold or legal pot to becoming rapidly to much and may have to unsubscribe. This would be a shame as I really enjoy you balanced programming. PLEASE ADJUST OR STOP THESE VAIN OF ADVERTISING ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

I get that you’ve gotta make money, but the number of ads per podcast are not out of control. Not to mention, we only hear the same two ads every time.

You brought in the media’s biggest partisan hack dummy (Bump) and expected objective discussion on the Durham probe?

I used to listen to Michaels radio show before he left our market to go to Sirius XM and I was stuck listening to the wing nut shows on the right and left , they do not represent logical or intelligent thought . That is why it’s so refreshing to hear his reasonable take on topics again even if it’s only in short abbreviated podcasts.

Reminds me of my law school professors, the good ones. Saludos.
