    Background noise is distracting
Interviews are good but Chris needs better soundproofing in his garden shed. The background noise ruins the pod. Too bad as I like Chris and his guests but had to give up.

    Joyful listening
I guess I’m late to the party, but this recent discover has been wonderful. Full of insightful, relaxed and interesting questions (no surprise given the glorious, top-tier, widely experienced host, Señor Difford). Now that I’ve heard a few from artists I know and love, it’s time to dive in to the ones I’ve not heard of. Enjoy. Keep up the great work. Would love to hear Mr. Difford's answers to many of his own questions.

    Worth a listen!
Chris has a great soothing voice and asks thoughtful questions! So glad he decided to do this! There are so many things he could do, maybe take listeners questions one day?

    Great interviews and insights
Chris Difford’s podcast is a fascinating look at songwriting and the ups and downs of a music career. Even if I’m unfamiliar with a particular artist on the show that week, I’ve still been fascinated to hear their journey and processes in songwriting. Really great, quality show.

    Squeeze Forever
Chris is great. So low key, but he asks interesting questions that “professional” interviews don’t seem to realize gets more to the core of a person. Of course, I would love for Chris to interview Glenn Tilbrook and Jools Holland. Happy to have met Chris after a Squeeze concert. Nice guy!

Just what I’ve been waiting for
Chris is a beautiful storyteller. He asks the questions we are thinking ourselves. I would love to hear him relax a little more and share more of himself. I’m hoping that he interviews Paul McCartney. I’m sure there are some amazing stories between them.

    Elevating
Chris’ gift of storytelling is the backbone of the interviews - though the magical part is *he* doesn't tell the story, his guests open up and tell theirs.

    Chris Difford’s compassion shines through!
Chris Difford is not only one of the greatest lyricists in pop, he is also one of the nicest blokes working in music today. And he knows his stuff too. In a world of noisy Podcasts it’s great to have Chris’s calm, compassionate voice shining through and pointing the spotlight on not just the *works* of fellow songwriters but also on their lives. Mr. Rogers always said to “look for the helpers” and Chris Difford is definitely one of them.

    Good lord, YES!
one of our most thoughtful musicians given the time and space to breathe, and talk with those peers which interst him most? Fantastic!

    More please!
This interview made me wanting more. Chris is such a thoughtful interviewer. I felt like I was sitting at the table listening to friendsReminiscing. I wanted the conversation to continue. Looking forward to more!

    Great first podcast …
What’s not to like? The excellent Chris Difford interviewing Sting about his life and music. Very nicely done and really I am looking forward to more. Maybe we could get Glenn Tilbrook on? 😉 Elvis Costello?

    Sting interview
I have followed Sting my entire life so I appreciate the very interesting questions that you asked him and the fact that you knew each other it was really great to listen to. After seeing The Police in concert many times as well as seeing Sting solo several times over the years and reading his book it was still nice to here a few more details about his journey.

    Worth the wait
It’s only right that members of Squeeze and The Police should usher in a great podcast for a good cause. It’s nice to here Difford and Sting compare notes on everything from early tours to musical influences. I’m looking forward to future episodes. (Hoping for guests like Glenn Tilbrook, Elvis Costello, Miles Copeland, Nick Lowe, etc.)
