Listen often

We listen to your podcast super often. And tend to repeat the earlier episodes. As you have gone on into the hundreds, you are speaking much faster with more complicated words and it is really hard to keep up. Can’t help but wonder what your other listeners have to say. We’ve been learning Swedish for some time and travel to Sweden several times a year.

Unbelievable!

I was a summer exchange student In Sweden a zillion years ago (almost 40!), and loved the language. I didn’t get much practice after that though. Anyway, I found this podcast and I’m not sure how Oskar does it, but I am listening and understanding Svenska better than I ever have before! He says things slowly and clearly, but in a very conversational way, just like you were sitting at a coffee shop chatting. I wish there was a read-along website page for each class too…or is there one already?! Anyway, kudos! Keep doing what you’re doing, Oskar! - a fan from San Francosco

too short too repetitive

the welcomes, the how are yous, the thank yous, the goodbyes, etc are painfully redundant because each episode is so short. what’s the goal there? much simpler just to record every other week with proper content to get on with!

Fun and easy to follow!

I just moved to Sweden and started learning the language on my own with the Rivstart books (level A1-A2). While there’s a lot I don’t understand yet in the episodes, some of the topics that Oskar covers perfectly match the lessons I go through with the book! So it’s perfect to strengthen what I’m learning, especially since I don’t have a teacher. The sound is so clear, the tone conversational, and from the sound of it (genuine laughter!), the podcast host seems to be enjoying themselves :) tack så mycket Oskar, jag lyssnar på podden när jag går i den svenska skogen🌲
