for.flux.sakeThey have a podcast about stained glass???This was the comment my 18 year old son made when he and I were roadtripping across the country. Fifteen hours in the car and a healthy majority of that time was spent listening to Cracked…I had been stocking up my episodes in expectation of this trip. That’s how good this podcast is. If you love stained glass, this is for you. I’ve laughed, I’ve gotten misty eyed, I’ve been shocked at the safety protocols I didn’t realize and I’ve learned how to be a better stained glass artist. Try it out, you’ll like it, I promise.

NOLAJEMA wonderful insight into the world of stained glassAs someone new to stained glass, this podcast is a game changer. I’ve learned so much so quickly from the interviews and the amazingly varied group of artists that is presented. Chevonne does an amazing job interviewing them and it’s great to have on during those solo studio days!

kelligA game changer for any self taught solo artistsI’ve been doing glass for 17 years, self taught and mostly alone. Cracked is the magical gift I didn’t know I needed. An unimaginable wealth of information on every aspect of the art, from pattern making to installation, marketing, outreach, safety and resources. This podcast has opened up ideas and knowledge, exposed me to powerhouses in creativity, vision and determination. Most importantly, it has connected me to a vibrant and supportive community that I had zero idea existed. I am obsessed with glass and would have continued with it without the podcast but listening has enriched the art for me exponentially. Chevonne creates a fun and comfortable atmosphere, and it feels like we are all sitting around a sunken living room having a cocktail and discussing our art. She does a ton of research beforehand and asks in depth questions. The show notes are priceless. I can’t say enough great things about her, or this podcast. Thank you chevonne for coming up with and making happen, this wonderful podcast.

Newish WinoGreat source of info & entertainment! As a newer stained glass artist, I LOVE being able to listen to the stories, advice, tips, and goals of artists I admire and follow. It’s so awesome to hear how other artists made it! There are also so many resources that are mentioned and talked about, and she links to them all for sanity sake (Thank you!). I was looking for a podcast like this when I first started and couldn’t find one, so I’m glad the hole in the glass world has been filled.
