Gi Joe in NatickGarlic butter shrimpMy favorite podcast!!! This is how I start my day, I cook for my meditation. I love cooking for family and friends. I bring my treasures to work at a endoscopy unit in Boston. It’s like handing out love! This podcast is no mindless chatter, no banter, just give me the basics! A million thanks!!!

Street-LiciousRecipe of the DayReally enjoy your daily podcasts. I made the Kalau Pig today. Followed recipe given and it was great. Once pork was cooked, I remove pork from pot and then added cabbage, onions, red potatoes and small ears of frozen corn on the cob to pot and seasoned heavily with a Cajun seasoning. Cooked for ten minutes, natural release fo 8 minutes. It was delicious.

Cookin’ in Sunnyvale, CALove your show!Hi Christine, I’ve been listening to you almost daily for about 6-7 months now, and I am just figuring our where to leave a review. I love your ROTD daily, and I listen to almost all of your weekend interviews. I also enjoy the fact that you hail from Canada and have those little Canadian pronunciations that make it so interesting. I live in Sunnyvale, CA in the heart of Silicon Valley. But my root are ‘farm-based.’ My mother grew up on a farm in the Central Valley here in CA. And my cousins still own the land and rent it out to people who are growing peaches and nectarines on it. I’m retired and live with my husband who appreciates my efforts to put a healthy dinner on the table most nights. Sincerely, Janice Cherrier

Winston-Salem cookJust recipesI like this one because Christine doesn’t dwell on chefs and their spiritual journeys or how someone’s trip to a volcano rim influenced their cooking. That stuff is fine but I like to listen to practical advice on how to make things. Also her recipes tend to be pretty practical and mostly from easily available ingredients. It’s surprising how few podcasts there are like that.

Rid!Awesome recipesI love how you put so much effort into each recipe before sharing them. Thank you. Wish you had a all vegetarian recipe channel.

NavyNerdMattDeceptive practicesPlease stop hiding the “x” on your podcast pop up ads when looking for recipes. I have vision issues and am a busy single mom of 4. I love my Kaiden, Hayden, Brayleigh and Dorris. I just don’t have the time to make an easy instant pot Chaana Marsala when I’m having to close windows on my phone and hit the back button.

ORgolfGirlSlow down race horse.Love your recipes but speaker talks too fast, rushing thru important information. Sorry.

CroatWomanTerrific for the home cook who wants to learn!!!I am a “home cook”. I want to be a great cook for both my family and when guests are over, but I have never felt confident. Christine’s Recipe of the Day is a solution! Each segment is short and yet gives me specific what-and-how-to-dos which I understand and then can use. I know that I’m listening to and learning from a competent chef - and I don’t need to have a culinary education to benefit. I benefit TREMENDOUSLY. I am excited to build my skills through what I learn. I even listen to the recipes that include ingredients I’m not fond of, because I’m still learning how to create and gaining ideas for how I might substitute and use what I have. Thank you!!!
